Greg Allen, phony Marine faces charges
Our buddy, Dan Noyes a reporter in San Francisco who busted Gregory Allen last May tells us that the pretend Marine Lieutenant is facing federal misdemeanor charges for pretendng to have two Purple Heart Medals;
Ten months after I first exposed him, Greg Allen from Marin’s House of Steel now faces a federal misdemeanor charge for using a phony Purple Heart to raise money. Possible penalty: 1 year in prison, $100,000 fine, 1 year supervised release. The FBI tells me there could be more charges coming.
Allen ran the gym, training young men who wanted to join the Marines, and he often spoke about his service as a Drill Instructor, a Recon Marine, a Sniper — all lies. He wore a Purple Heart, Bronze Star and other medals at public events and fundraisers. He never served in the Marines and did not receive those awards. The affidavit says he and his girlfriend at the time bought the medals online, at sites including Sgt. Grit.
Allen is scheduled to appear in Federal Court next week.
It takes a while, but it’s nice to see these guys getting busted.

Damn, the feds actually charging a phony with SV? Almost hard to believe…///
As I said elsewhere: Dan Noyes is certainly one of the media’s “good guys”.
Dan, if you’re reading this . . . thanks. Every vet who served honorably owes you for this.
+1
^^^Ditto^^^
I appreciate it, Hondo.
Thank you, Dan. Well done, Sir!
Thanks, Dan, for flushing this guy out.
De nada, amigo. Like Jonn, you “fight the good fight”.
Again: thanks.
Excellent work, Mr. Noyes!
Amen.
I still find his eyes really disturbing. They look like a couple of piss holes in a snow bank.
Props to Mr. Noyes, who IIRC, is the father of a Marine.
Check out that “pizza box”…
In one pic he has the pizza box and he’s an expert in the other. I didn’t know you still had to go to the range after you get out.
The pistol qualification badge is not EXPERT…..it is SHARPSHOOTER, one notch lower.
Look at the other photo. His “pizza box” has been changed to Expert
I’d always heard that referred to as “the toilet seat”.
Hmmm. . . . let me gaze into my blown glass fishing float ball. . .
I see an intense course of anal dilation therapy for Mr Allen, in a Fed pound-em-in-the-ass-prison, as applied by those fine Drs Bubba, Thor, Tiny, and Julio. . . the not-so-crystal ball grows cloudy, I can see no more at this time.
That will be $50, please.
I’ll just settle for him ending up with a felony record.
It won’t happen over this charge, but again, other charges are pending.
Possible that could happen if he’s been playing games with the VA, SEA. See my comment below about the USMC logo on his VA ID card.
Unwarranted VA compensation and medical treatment adds up fast. And Uncle Sam doesn’t much like it when people obtain his money by fraud.
That’s what happens when you play “Call of Booty – Ananl Buttsekks Warrior”!
Hope Greggy-poo like cockmeat and tubesteak…
The one that grabs me is his claiming TWO NMCMs, the equivalent of the Soldiers Medal.
Just getting one is rare enough. I’m not aware of anyone that has two.
Yep, kinda like hen’s teeth.
I’m sure there’s someone that has two, but over the last 35 years of being active duty or around active duty troops, I’ve never seen one.
about as rare as two purple hearts and no combat action ribbon.lol
*Cell door slams shut*
Thor: How long ya in for?
Gregory Allen: A while.
Thor: It’s gonna be like we’re married, whaddya wanna be, the husband or the wife?
Gregory Allen: HUSBAND!
Thor: Fine, now GET OVER HERE and suck your wife’s dick, BITCH!
I wonder if Lori Benton is taking his case?
Maggots.
I’m still wondering who the hell let him join the Marine Corps League.
My guess – and I stress, this is only a guess; I’m not stating this as fact – is that he used bogus docs to join.
I looked back over the original articles about this dipstick. In an article linked in comments, I found an image of his VA ID card:
It has the USMC logo on it, which I’m pretty sure indicates he was granted eligibility as a former Marine. His FOIA reply from NPRC says he served in the Navy – no mention of any USMC service.
You do the math regarding how the VA came to believe he was in the USMC.
This snake probably forged a DD214, but I don’t have complete faith in the NRC either. Theres at least three false negatives that came back on here as well.
It’s possible he had USMC service but no where near what he claimed.
The fact that the Marine Corps itself made a records request kinda shoots holes in that theory as well.
See ha has a ‘Service Connected’ disability. Hmmm…
I doubt he`s looking forward to his prison time as much as we are.Hahaha. Eat shit and die, Allen.
Isn’t having a fractured taint a service related disability? DOesn’t the VA give out a max of 127% for FTS? That’s what a certain soon to be disbarred “lawer” claims is his problem.
Sometimes I wonder about this organization as well as the VFWs when it comes to unmasking a fraud.
Yes, some of them have been fooled by phony DD214s, forged documents, etc.
But other MCLs, such as the one in Tennessee, home of Frank Visconi, who still let him hold office and wear his phony finery in parades even though they were informed his medals/ribbons were bogus and that he is a liar?
No excuse on their part.
VISCONI ??…..I thought this guy was living in a hole BELOW the shitter while trying to sue the NPRC and HQMC claiming they lied about his NOT-heroism…….or am I confused with a stinkin’ turd that just smells up anywhere he is?
lol @ pizza box sniper
What a terrible phony.
What?!? Huh?!?
I liked this guy! I’d keep my mouth shut about my ninja skills but I’d lose my livelihood at the truck stops.
sincerely

musta saved money for a better rack by the time that picture was taken. It would look better tacked to his fukking forehead though.
I’d have offered to hold him down but I get the feeling you would have been okay with putting in the effort to subdue him yourself. 😉
$23,000 in “donations”. Hope they fry the turd. Pretty sure just standard fraud charges for that much gets you 5-10 years.
He had a pre-existing condition that he refused treatment for that got him out of the Navy.
He would rate Zero comp for that.
I smell forgery at a high level.
Not excusing what he did at all, but the real shame of this one is that he may have done some very good things for young people – if he had just not based the whole thing upon lies. Instead, he makes himself out to be just another smarmy thug, completely overshadowing what might otherwise have been a service to the community.
Now we will never know if he’s just another guy who is fascinated with kids, or if he would have been a pillar of society if he hadn’t lied. Crazy.
Thanks, Dan. Ya did great.
good things?
It’s like idiots enabling idiots. You don’t need to go to a gym and get trained by phonies to make it through boot camp. As long as you aren’t a bitch you’ll make it.
You’ve got to remember all the borderline insane BS these guys spew to appreciative but unknowing citizens in an effort to ‘shock and impress’ them.
Stories like ‘I was given a puppy at the beginning of training and had to kill it to graduate to prove that I could kill’. Many more like that, all just as silly and sick.
But if the person hearing the story was never in the military, and doesn’t have a close friend or relative who was or is in the military, they have no real way of detecting such bullshit.
It’s made up BS like this that causes real deals to sometimes be hesitant about telling newer acquaintances from outside the military about what they do or used to do. You never know what crazy BS they have heard and believe to be true.
No argument here. That is why it is so important to shut them all down. Every last one of them.
HOOOOOOOOAH ! ! ! !
Congrat Turd !!!!

The image of this phony Marine standing guard over an actual Marine who was KIA is one of the most heinous acts by a phony that I know of.
Mr. Noyes is not only one of the good guys, he is one of the best guys. If anyone gets the chance to buy him a drink before I do (someday), buy him one for me and I’ll pay you back with a bottle. I’m good for it.
He probably doesn’t bring it up much, but recently I was chatting with a buddy who is now an international crime fighter type and he mentioned that Mr. Noyes was one of the primary reporters behind a book some years ago that was at that time the definitive account of Yakuza criminal operations in the USA. One of those real ‘reporter facing danger for being a reporter’ deals.
The more I learn about the guy, the more I like him.
May Poseidon watch over his son.
Always interested in setting the record straight. There is another Dan Noyes from the Center for Investigative Reporting, a print guy and a ground-breaking reporter. He’s been dogged for the past 30 years, sharing the name with a TV Dan Noyes.
When I first became a correspondent for ABC News in Washington, the Post ran a short article saying I was another example of the liberal bias in the media, because of my history writing for Mother Jones Magazine. That was the other Dan Noyes, and they had to run a retraction.
Just an FYI.
Mr. Noyes,
Very sorry for the error, I can assure you that it was unintentional on the part of my friend (who has read the book in question and made the assumption in error exactly as you have described).
I will inform him of this, but his opinion of the book and the reporter are very positive ones.
And I still owe you a drink or six. Keep up the good work.
Mr. Lilyea, feel free to delete my comment above to prevent further misidentification of ‘our’ Mr. Noyes. 😉
“The image of this phony Marine standing guard over an actual Marine who was KIA is one of the most heinous acts by a phony that I know of.”
Shack!
To me, there are three types of Stolen Valor asswipes who are particularly egregious: 1) those who falsely claim POW status, 2) those who make false claims about being awarded the Purple Heart, and 3) those who ingratiate themselves with the families of wounded and fallen warriors.
Gregory Allen falls into two of those categories.
Fuck him.
I have a dream.
In my mind’s eye, I see a gauntlet of Marines standing on either side of a long, long path to a set of pearly gates. The Marines wear uniforms dating from the Revolutionary War to the current conflicts, from coats with white belts crossed across their chests to the belts found in 782 gear, from flight suits to tanker coverall.
Those uniforms are torn and tattered, bloodstained and holed. Some of the arms and legs of those uniforms are empty. Some of the eyes of those Marines are sightless, unseeing. Some of the Marines are using crutches, others lean on fellow Marines.
They all have one thing in common – each Marine has at least one Purple Heart medal pinned to his chest. Some have two. Some have three. A very select few have more.
They are all armed with their T/O weapons, ranging from muskets to 1903s to 1911s to M-1s to M-14s, M-16s, and M-4s. The weapons are unloaded. However, the Marines hold them at port arms, at the ready, just like they were taught in countless close combat classes and drills.
Greg Allen appears at the beginning of that long path. He looks down the rows of angry, snarling Marines, and shudders. He starts to turn around to leave, but the Grim Reaper prods him with his scythe and kicks him.
Allen starts to run down the path. He is slowed to a snail’s pace by the thunder of rifle stocks and pistol butts that rain down countless blows on his body. He struggles to make his way down that long path, often knocked down to his knees, battered and bruised and in pain beyond anything he’s ever felt.
He doesn’t see that at the end of the path, before the pearly gates, that the path turns away from the gates…it goes out to nowhere…with more Marines lining it…
I just got a chubby from this
That’s some straight up Rod Serling shit
That was great.
Thanks!
I LIKE IT!!!
While in prison, maybe Bubba will tell Allen that he has the most beautiful eyes.
So looking at the max punishment I’m guessing 10$ fine, 1 day in jail, 12 hours supervised released
Sometimes karma doesn’t just tap. It THUMPS (although I wish it would thump this flaming valor-stealing asshole a lot harder):

Bend over, Greggy-boi.
Thanks for the update.
Sonetimes wish the penalties for this fraud is to actually make these phonies what they want to be. In this case, make this guy a Marine and send him into Combat, front lines only.
Make them earn their lies.
Course, this PoS will most likely put his tail between his legs, start sobbing and run like a dickens. He’ll get stronger incarerated (maybe).
