Friday morning feel good stories
In Miami Beach, Florida, a couple was stopped at a traffic light when a 13-year-old approached the car with a handgun announcing his intention to shoot the pair. The passenger pulled out his own gun and fired through the window striking the the teen twice in abdomen. the couple drove a few blocks for safety and called the police. The teen’s pals fled the scene leaving the youngster bleeding in the street. He’s in critical condition at the hospital.
Very few details in a story from Las Vegas, Nevada where a homeowner got into an altercation with an armed burglar and someone shot the burglar. There’s no news on anyone’s condition.
It’s been a slow week for feel good stories, maybe things will pick up when it gets warmer.

13 year old armed robber? Kids do the darnedest things.
“First of all, what is a 13-year-old doing out after midnight? They should be in bed ready for school.” – Miami Beach article
NO! Really? Ya think??? Where are this genius’s parents? Do they exist at all?
Ya’ know … the perfect “Feel Good” edition is:
“Today there were no burglaries or assaults so no cop or private citizen had to shoot a goblin.”
Boring is … boring … but it is also good.
I suspect that boredom won’t be an issue. I live in the Kalamazoo area and my son lives in Kansas.
We used to do sweeps during the warmer months, for juveniles out at night. We’d find them, haul them in, then spend hours trying to find mom. Dad was never an option, in 95%+ of the cases, cuz the lil goblins didn’t know daddy. Mom was usually found at home after the bars closed.
