There’s a special place in hell…

| February 8, 2016

There’s a special place in hell for a Secretary of State of the United States of America who would stoop to such a needlessly evil deception as to lie to the grieving families of three fallen warriors, as those family members were in the process of receiving the bodies of their loved ones from the foreign battlefield. Former Secretary of State Madeline Albright now supports and defends what Hillary Clinton did to the families of the Benghazi victims at the return ceremony at Andrews AFB September 14, 2012, with a Hell-bound condemnation for those women who don’t march in lockstep with Hillary.

Albright demonstrates that in spite of all her worldly experiences, she doesn’t know a damned thing about damnation, and even less about who it is she really should be damning to Hell if she had a single ounce of integrity remaining. Albright cannot possibly be ignorant of the many news reports of Hillary Clinton’s truly evil betrayal at that sad homecoming where she told those grief-stricken families that our government would soon arrest the producer of a squalid anti-Muslim video that she and her boss were attempting to portray as the motivation for what was an obvious terrorist attack. She knew that the attack was a terrorist attack and had so informed others, including her daughter, and that the video in question had absolutely nothing to do with the deaths of those brave men.

I don’t use the term evil very often because it is a term that liberals far too often ascribe to conservatives simply because they disagree with our beliefs and political positions which they otherwise cannot refute. But, folks, Hillary Clinton is evil. She did not have to lie to those grieving families; it just came so naturally to her that she just did it because that is what she does: she lies, much like the scorpion on the frog’s back; it’s just what she does. Political prevarication is so second nature to Hillary Clinton that she does it, as my mother used to say, “When the truth would serve better.” Worst of all, she does it without regard for who is hurt or how deeply it may hurt them.

So, Mrs. Albright,, while you’ve come doddling out of retirement to consign a few million women who no longer believe the lies of Hillary Clinton to the depths of Hell, perhaps you might wish to advise them that your contemptible candidate will most assuredly be there to greet them as the Devil’s very own consort, Hillary Clinton, the Queen of Mean.

Madeline, you slimy skankazoid crapweasel, may your rotting soul slither into small pieces before you ever GET to the Gates of Hell, BITCH. There’s that nasty place called the Void, where the winds never stop howling. You get to wait there, where the scavengers rip lumps of skagweed like you to shreds.

Perhaps I should have added that if that obnoxious cow Albright says things like that, I can take it in context that she is offering a threat of some kind toward people like me, who despise shrillary.

And if we don’t vote for that skanky bitch, are we going to be thrown into jail? Tossed out into Coventry?

Personally, I think there’s a real special place for Albright herself. She just wouldn’t like it. Too cold.

AW1 Tim

I always thought that Albright just had to be the world’s oldest living drag queen.

My guess is that liberal medical science researchers are diligently searching for the lie-aholic gene to explain this. It just cannot be that some people lie and do harm to others for selfish reasons, especially when such people have dedicated themselves to public service. No, there has to be a genetic basis for what you call evil, Poetrooper. Besides, good and evil, like right and wrong, are such old-school notions. The power elite and their apologists and supporters–I mean, our public servants and some of whom they serve–have only the best interests of the nation at heart. (Now, please excuse me. I just made myself sick.)

B Woodman

2/17,
If there IS found to be a genetic basis for lying, I guess that means that those that carry such a gene, would want to VOLUNTARILY choose to either not procreate, or would want to kill themselves – all for the GREATER GOOD of advancing and PROGRESSing (see what I did there?) society as a whole.

(and of course, /sarc)

2/17 Air Cav

I invoked the Left’s Religion of Science, but I do not believe that there is a genetic basis for evildoing. To the extent that wholesale personality changes have resulted from both disease and injury in some people and that those changes have prompted people to do bad acts, I appreciate that there may be an organic basis for evil, in some instances. At least one faith recognizes that original sin exists and all Christians believe that evil personified is Satan, that he is real, and that he works his evil in many and various ways. The matter of conscience does not dissuade evil: conscience refuses evil and free will permits this. I can condemn Wide Load for many things but whether she has opted, through her free will, to disregard her conscience, or whether she has effectively killed it over the years, I cannot say. But it sure ain’t genetic, in my book.

Ex-PH2

If the basis for evil or a lack of conscience is genetic, it doesn’t explain Hitler’s rampage, or Stalin, or Pol Pot, or Saddam Hussein and his two boys, or any of the murdering thugs of ISIS, does it?

No. It does not.

There’s a special place in hell for people that cast their votes based on gender or color, and call it progress. Hillary and Madeline can repeatedly kiss my pasty white Irish ass!

Is this the same sec of state that asked Colin Powell what was the purpose of all that money spent on the DoD if we couldn’t use it to smash up a few countries and tin pot dictators?

This is going to cause on uproar of bullshit…

But can someone point out the lie in the transcripts of what she said at the transfer ceremony?

Not a transcript, but it does have partial video of Albright’s remarks at the campaign event in question.

http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/feb/06/madeleine-albright-campaigns-for-hillary-clinton

Seems to me that the implication of Albright’s remarks is quite clear. YMMV.

Hondo

Addendum: well, I guess I screwed up. My comment above references the wrong ceremony. My error.

Regardless, as Poetrooper below notes – he’s primarily talking about private remarks Clintoon made to surviving family members as the more reprehensible lies she told that day. They were not the only ones, however.

Those private lies would not be available on a transcript. Other lies – or, if you prefer, intentional dissembling with the intent to mislead the public – can indeed be found in any such transcript.

The quotes below from the Chicago Tribune provided by 68W58, if accurate, clearly prove Clintoon intentionally dissembled about the subject at that ceremony. In the first instance, she dissembled using language that (IMO intentionally) conveyed an impression to her audience she absolutely knew to be false. In the second, she baldfaced lied to family members of those killed.

Around the 6 minute mark is when Clinton blames the video. All out in public and stuff.

68W58

Per the Chicago Tribune http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/editorials/ct-hillary-clinton-benghazi-edit-1028-20151027-story.html

…Clinton emailed her daughter, Chelsea: “Two of our officers were killed in Benghazi by an Al Qaeda-like group.” No hateful video, no protest. On Sept. 12 Clinton revealed more. According to State Department notes, she told Egyptian Prime Minister Hesham Kandil, “We know that the attack in Libya had nothing to do with the film. It was a planned attack — not a protest. … Based on the information we saw today we believe the group that claimed responsibility for this was affiliated with Al Qaeda.”

Yet on Sept. 14, when the four flag-draped coffins returned to Joint Base Andrews, Clinton said at the Transfer of Remains Ceremony: “We’ve seen rage and violence directed at American embassies over an awful Internet video that we had nothing to do with. It is hard for the American people to make sense of that because it is senseless, and it is totally unacceptable.” Tyrone Woods’ father, Charles, who took notes, says Clinton said to him, “We are going to have the filmmaker arrested who was responsible for the death of your son.”

MSG Eric

I don’t see any real gray area there. Good work Doc.

The Other Whitey

Lars, will you please shut the fuck up for once in your life? The only bullshit around here issues from your cock holster.

You know who says Hillary is a vile cunt? Everybody who’s ever met her that didn’t have a vested interest in her advancement. For contrast, I offer Dianne Feinstein, whom I can’t stand politically for obvious reasons, who nonetheless has a reputation for being a relatively nice person outside the political arena (or at least puts on a convincing act). Clinton, on the other hand, is widely known as a heinous hellbitch to everyone she meets. And in this case, it’s been verified that Hillary lied out her fat ass to those men’s families. Albright shilling for her is political hackery at its most despicable.

Once again, you’re full of shit. Fuck off and die.

At the end of the day, if I knew nothing else about Hillary, this one thing would be enough to not want to see her as president.

She “expects” to be President. She feels she is entitled to it, she paid her dues to be president and she deserves to be president. especially as the first woman president. That is easy enough to read behind her fake smile, her fake laugh, her fake persona.

That is the worst part of her even having a chance, is because she thinks the US owes her a Presidency.

The FBI needs to kick it into OT and finalize their work so she can get indicted and sent to prison already.

Dave Hardin

LIBTARD As repetitive as it sounds, it stands for “liberal retard.” A libtard wants to live in a fantasy world in which life is the way that they WISH IT WAS, as opposed to dealing with life the way it actually is. The most idealistic libtard envisions a time when science/technology and Socialism will eliminate all poverty, hunger, war, disease, injustice, unemployment and prejudice. It is a nice pipe dream but human nature will forever stand in the way of that goal. Most libtards subscribe to the notion that “people are basically good”, and build their foundation for activism and “improving the human condition” on that faulty premise. Because they deny the facts about human nature, their “reasoning” is diametrically opposite to common sense. The reality that people have different initiative levels, are basically selfish, and often work for their own interests before helping others, puts a libtard’s panties in a wad. So, when citizens will not voluntarily comply with various libtard prescriptions for “the common good”, then laws must be passed, or force used, to MAKE them comply. Likewise, his/her naïve cries of: “can’t we all just get along?” and “there is nothing worth dying for” are red flags for anyone with a clue. Metaphorically speaking, a libtard is a sheep who thinks that their grasp of diplomatic nuance or metaphysical sensitivity will prevent their flock from being devoured by the world’s Islamic/Communist wolves. When America, the sheep dog, responds to wolf attacks, the libtard judges these defensive actions as offensive and wolfish. Since libtards are unable to recognize our enemies for what they are, they cannot be trusted to safeguard our future. In a large nutshell, a libtard’s goal in life includes one or more of the following: –the establishment of a Socialist “utopia” (a.k.a. a global nanny state) –“benevolent” totalitarian control of the world’s population through any means necessary –ever increasing government micromanagement of private enterprise –the adoption of laws, treaties and tax regulations that hinder America’s competitiveness –the usurpation of the legislative process, at all levels, through judicial fiat –the filing of specious law suits in… Read more »

It’s almost as if you looked at the mirror and asked your reflection ‘Who can I piss off today?’

And for your information, Dave Hardin isn’t posting some odd, nutty stuff. When kids who want to go to college can’t even pass the standard ACT and SAT tests, the same tests that I had to pass in the 1960s, that means they are illiterate and uneducated as a result of attending schools currently using an inadequate curriculum. I believe it’s a thinly-disguised piece of political crap called the Common Core. I’ve seen that crap at work. I learned fractions in the first grade. These kids being taught with that system can barely read at first grade levels at the age of 16. They are illiterate.

Only two quibbles, DH.

1. I prefer the term libidiot to “libtard”. Same connotation, and I see no reason to insult those who are mentally deficient due to birth or injury by equating them with those who willfully act stupidly.

2. Should you end up in Hell, may God grant you what you ask – along with an eternally full keg of beer and a fireproof mug. But since it’s Hell, the beer will almost certainly be warm and stale, and nasty – like PBR or Carling Black Label. (smile)

Hey, Poppa Stone used to drink Carling Black Label, and as to (see what I did there?) MSG Eric

Just for the record… I do not support Hillary. I think she is too cozy with the the modern finance regime. I think her $675,000 for 3 short ten minute speaking engagements from one firm, and much of her approximately 12 million in speaking engagement she received in the last decade, mostly while a senator, are tantamount to bribery. I think a politician who believes their job is to represent the interests of Wall Street is unfit for public office. Modern “Wall Street” is not a voter constituency, it is not a place, it has no single geographic location, it is not even a sector, or industry. “Wall Street” is an international finance regime that has no one country, no loyalty, and no nationality. It does not operate in the interests of the American people or even the general interests of the US. As a voter constituency employees of finance of any sort make up approximately 2% of the population of New York. Including everything from janitors, security, bank tellers, brokers, to CEOs. Essentially I think she is part of the problem in our political economy. One of the major players at the heart of the problem. All that being said, the Benghazi controversy is a lot of political opportunistic bullshit and the partisan exploitation of a tragedy. I have worked at an Embassy platform and I understand how information flow works in the DoS. How inaccurate it can be. Particularly initial reports. I also understand how few analysts they have and how their conceptual framework differs from the “threat” framework of the DoD or the intelligence community. I was burned by bad information I passed from DoS to mil side. Nothing I have seen or read about Benghazi legitimizes the highly partisan rhetoric and opportunism. It is shameful. And the congressional investigation results do not support the continued partisan attacks either. It is not the only attack on a US embassy of consulate. There has been at least 39 attacks since the age of modern terror in the 1970s. There has been several with more loss of life, even… Read more »

68W58

It is not the only attack on a US embassy of consulate. There has been at least 39 attacks since the age of modern terror in the 1970s. There has been several with more loss of life, even American life. There has been more than a few with significant errors in information assessments, security posture, and judgement by officials involved.

How many of those resulted in the death of the U.S. ambassador? How many of those occurred on the anniversary of the most notorious terrorist attack on our nation? How many of those involved the Secretary of State blatantly lying about the cause being some completely insignificant video that maybe a few hundred people worldwide had seen at the time.

You really are full of crap Lars, and you aren’t fooling anyone here.

L. Taylor

5 other Ambassadors have been killed in attacks.

Hillary did not Blatantly lie. And more than a few of the attacks on Embassies and Consulates have resulted in incorrect or false statements that would be regarded as “lies” by the standard you are using.

Not sure why the anniversary is significant beyond the criticism of the threat assessment going into the anniversary and the initial report of the cause. The fact that it happened on the anniversary in of itself does not make it any more egregious of an attack.

JACK SHIT

You don’t know me, Commissar.

A Proud Infidel®™

Blow that and the gerbil out your ass, poodle dick!

68W58

1) Stevens was the first Ambassador killed since the 1970s, which is pretty significant.

2) We’ve already shown, upthread, that Hillary knew that the video was not the cause of the attack. IOW she lied.

3) Gee mister intel expert, ya think that might have been an important variable to take into account WRT risk assessment (it apparently wasn’t).

Like I said, you’re not fooling anyone here

L. Taylor

The date was an obvious risk consideration. The anniversary date was part of the risk assessment.

We have hundreds of consulates and embassies around the world. And the DoS is desperately under funded and under staffed for it role and security needs.

68W58

Well then given that all of the above is true, then maybe it was extremely foolish to send so important a diplomat out to an unsecured location on such an auspicious date.

To me that sounds like legitimate criticism rather than “partisan rhetoric and opportunism”.

Hondo

Quit confusing the “man” with facts, 68W58. Those pesky little things aren’t addressed in his list of approved talking points, so you’re confusing him by bringing them up.

A Proud Infidel®™

Well then what about the PROVEN FACT that multiple requests for additional security measures were DENIED by the State Department as well as the Military Units that could have responded but were ordered to stand down that night resulting in the murders of four American Citizens, o Smurf-hugging cupcake?

Ex-PH2

For your information, Lars you poodle, Wall Street IS a geographical location, a street, in fact, in New York City’s financial district. The term ‘Wall Street’ is also a euphemism for the American financial markets used as a general description of those markets by the press.

If you had any real contact with the real world – which you do NOT have – you’d know that. As it is, you have consistently displayed utter ignorance of the REAL world outside the walls of academia and whatever other protected environments you’ve inhabited. You don’t have a job. You don’t own anything except your clothing, IF that. You can’t even maintain a relationship with someone whom YOU probably talked into following a useless curriculum and now can’t find a job that pays even close to what a table waitress makes.

Idealism is great stuff. It frequently drives people to accomplish things like discovering the Salk vaccine which prevents poliomyelitis infections.

But when you live in a fog of political idealism that denies the hardcore reality of a hardcore world – which is exactly what YOU do now – you accomplish nothing but adding to higher levels of carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulfide.

I suggest that you get off your dead ass and find a real job in the real world, and start paying your way again. A little time washing dishes at a family restaurant is an ideal penance for an egotistical lackwit like you.

L. Taylor

When we are talking about “Wall Street” we are not talking about the damn street itself, and you know it. Or at least should know it. You have an aggravating and idiotic habit of pedantic bullshit like that. I am not sure if it a cognitive limit in you processing of information or intentional trolling.

My time at Cal represented less than 10% of my life. Characterizing my life as being academic or sheltered is flat false.

Telling a veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, with more than 12 years in intelligence, years in special operations units, prior EMS, and prior law enforcement that he lacks “real world” experience is flat ridiculous.

A Proud Infidel®™

MY opinion is that if you got out after 12 years it likely wasn’t voluntary, they push sub-par performers and the very antisocial ones out about then.

L. Taylor

No, first I was commissioned, then when I was eligible I went into Civil Affairs because it allowed me to be on the ground and the information collection role is pretty interesting to me. Intel is a feeder MOS for CA. Also, MI officers rarely get to be information collectors. They are almost all staff. Most collection jobs are enlisted or warrant. Few MI officers get to operate on the ground.

A Proud Infidel®™

YOU strike me as the type who couldn’t make coffee or use a latrine without tripping an alarm. Officers with attitudes like yours were dangerous to us Grunts, things like tagging along in our convoys wanting to get within earshot of gunfire with Silver Stars in your eyes, lengthening such ops to get resume’-padding “outside the wire time” as well as NOT listening to Enlisted Personnel. I could go on, but you’re not worth it.

Ex-PH2

Oh! That hurts(not)! YOU said Wall Street is not a geophysical location, you jackass. Go read your own words. You just don’t like being corrected.

And in regard to the REAL world:

The military is a protected environment, just as is the academic world. Unless you are working in a civilian job, you have NO real world experience, poodle. People working at McDonalds have more real world experience than you do.

And trolling? How much projection do you intend to engage in before you go nighty-night?

Would you like fries with that?

L. Taylor

I worked at McDonald’s in high school.

Does that make me “worldly”?

Hondo

Not exactly. But it does mean you won’t have to practice saying, “Would you like fries with that,” very much. You should remember how.

However, maybe not. If your personality then was anything like it is today, your manager probably kept you away from the paying customers and had you work on the back line cooking/assembling burgers vice on a register dealing with customers.

Ex-PH2

And you haven’t worked a civilian job since then.

No, it’s not ‘worldly’ enough. Try 45 years in the civilian work world, trout-sniffer. Try working jobs with no academic beneifts, no retirement or pension guarantees, no union protectionism, no nothing. Just the day-to-day grind, commuting on the bus with the rabble you despise with every fiber of your being, including those foul-smelling lost souls who wander the streets, talking to invisible friends, because the institutions that kept them fed, clothed and housed were shut down by liberal jackasses like you.

Then I’ll listen to you.

JACK SHIT

I keep saying that Commissar DOES NOT KNOW ME and he proves it with each and every one of his posts.

YOU know me, Ex-PH2!

Hondo

A fellow named “John Glenn” would appear to disagree with you, Ex-PH2.

https://library.osu.edu/documents/ohio-congressional-archives/documents/Gold%20Star%20Mother%20speech.pdf

I do have to say I agree with the Senator here – and not with you.

Veritas Omnia Vincit

I’ve always held the notion it’s a job and much more than that. It’s a form of servitude because you are not free to leave when you want for whatever reason you want.

John Glenn’s poor judgment in the Senate is a matter of public record. I would suggest he avoided censure precisely because of the respect that job he held was given by his colleagues. Private meetings with bankers without staff present is always going to be an apparent conflict of interest. Poor judgment is probably the least of it.

So in the end John Glenn did indeed have a job, one that was provided from the profits of those tireless working wage slaves that men like Glenn are supposed to protect when they get to the Senate, they aren’t supposed to be protecting the fucking crooked bankers raping the economy for profit.

So fuck John Glenn and his response about having a job. Just because he did something honorable once doesn’t remove the stain of his later his actions anymore than an honorable veteran claiming shit he didn’t do is exonerated through honorable service.

Casey

Actually Glenn was included in the Keating investigation to balance the inclusion of (Republican) McCain. That way we had 1 honest pol from each party accused of wrongdoing, later to be exonerated.

McCain was included in the first place to obscure the fact that all the guilty parties to Keating were Democrats.

Ex-PH2

I acknowledge your opinion, Hondo, but I will maintain my position. Note that I did not say the military was not a job. It is. I have two separate enlistments, which gave me good and viable work experience.
However, it is not a job that you can leave at will, to find work with an employer who pays better wages and has better benefits to offer. The civilian work world offers a freedom to choose that is not available in the military – ever.

I brought it up because my position on the issue is frequently attacked no the basis that I am a shill for her.

And I would not feel the need to substantiate what I said with my experience if the responses to my post were not bullshit like this; “If you had any real contact with the real world – which you do NOT have – you’d know that. As it is, you have consistently displayed utter ignorance of the REAL world outside the walls of academia and whatever other protected environments you’ve inhabited.”

I received responses almost from day one on this board.

You’ve received responses because people here don’t agree with you. Now, granted you are free to engage all forums of the internet, there comes a point when you should realize you’re not welcome here and you’re wasting not only your time, but ours. So the fact you keep coming back tells me you’re an enormous idiot….OR, you enjoy the abuse in a way that stimulates sadomasochist mental responses in your brain to where you derive a disturbing sexual satisfaction.

Either way, I still stand by my “Asshat” comment of you, and would recommend you go troll another forum where you will be welcomed in virtual welcome arms, and bungholes.

Don’t try to intellectualize with me or anyone else here, because we have nothing to really lose here on the internet. Just go back to the coffee shops at UC-Barky Barkly and talk to the simpletons who will readily agree with you.

If Lars has even a tiny drop of common sense he’d realize that he and his ramblings are about as welcome here as a live rattlesnake is at a square dance.

Derek, the DUers don’t want him, either. That should tell you something.

Veritas Omnia Vincit

Okay I’m going to be the devil’s advocate here for just a moment…

I don’t mind him at all, I don’t find that I will agree with him but I also don’t begrudge him his opinion. I like to think it’s what Jefferson meant by the “tumult” of liberty.

It doesn’t hurt to have a few people with contradicting opinions, otherwise this place will be nothing more than an echo chamber…too many sites like that now where the basic message is the same just delivered in different context. That hardly qualifies as a tumultuous liberty.

The absolutely positive Stolen Valor work aside the political makeup of this place is pretty fucking obvious to even a casual observer, it’s good for us all to have to defend those concepts from time to time. Disagreement isn’t disrespect, it’s just disagreement until one side or the other makes it something else.

Just my $0.02 YMMV as it most certainly should.

Hondo

Actually, Taylor – it’s because you’re a shill for discredited Communist ideals masquerading as “Progressive politics”. You cling to DNC talking points and Progressive dogma more closely than gold electroplate adheres to the base metal it’s hiding. Your “Bible” contains the Gospel according to St. Marx – with current commentary by St. Bernie the Socialist and Lady Debbie the Ditz.

However, in either case (gold electroplate or the “Progressive” talking points which you worship) what you have is merely a thin coating hiding reality. And for Progressive (formerly Marxist) political theory, reality is often ugly as hell.

It has nothing to do with the fact that the embassy was attacked. Embassies are attacked regularly in which we don’t hear about it. Liberal suck-ups to Hillary spew that same thing constantly. “Embassies get attacked all the time! So what?” The issue is the blatant cover-up of what actually happened there in order to hide the fact that King Barry was flat out wrong about terrorism in the world being reduced by his mere presence in the oval office. The issue is that Hillary went out of her way to state that she had NOTHING to do with security issues there, had ZERO contact with that ambassador, but was spewing the fact that a “protest” was why the embassy was attacked. Meanwhile, in released emails (that she said were irrelevant), she tells other world leaders, her friends, her family, “Hey, its a terrorist attack, not a protest…” while telling the American people AND the families of the fallen that it was due to a protest. Her going before Congress and misleading them is significant, but more so is the fact that she mislead the American People about the incident. As did her minions and other white house people. If they had come out on day 1 and said, “Hey, an Al Qaeda linked group attacked the embassy there. We didn’t have the best security capability in place and things got screwed up.” This would’ve been OVER and done on 13 Sep, give or take. It would’ve still sucked, but we wouldn’t be dealing with what we are now. The benghazi committee also discovered the fact that Hillary had her own server, was doing her own “discovery” of what the Govt should see and not see, destroyed emails (regardless of whether they were “official” or not), and acted like it was no big deal. She PURPOSELY setup her own server to keep things private and to herself. She gave special access to certain minions of it and her “friends” as well, but not to the Govt. She was also sending and receiving email classified at various levels through her own… Read more »

Taylor: while “Wall Street” is sometimes used as a generic term for financial markets, the term “Wall Street” can be and often is also used as a term for NYC’s Financial District – or to refer to the street by that name in Manhattan. Perhaps you’ve heard of them? Or something called the “New York Stock Exchange”, which is located there (at 11 Wall Street)?

NYC’s Financial District is most definitely a physical location. It’s at the southern end of Manhattan, just north of Battery Park. The source of its name should be obvious, even to you.

So, yes: “Wall Street” is indeed a physical place as well as a generic term. In fact, it can be used as a term for two distinct physical locations: the NYC street named “Wall Street” itself (which is completely within the NYC Financial District), or as a synonym for the entire NYC Financial District. Those uses are IMO more common than the generic use of the term for worldwide financial markets.

Indeed, I’d guess people outside the US cringe when people use the term “Wall Street” to refer to financial markets in general. And I hardly think the people in England or Japan refer to the London or Tokyo stock exchanges as “Wall Street”. And as a liberal and presumed supporter of “One World” type world harmony, I have a hard time believing you use a term so America-centric for a world institution.

You therefore appear to be 100% wrong in saying with respect to Wall Street “it is not a place”. As noted above, the term in fact is used to refer to two different physical locations, and is commonly understood as such. If you’re using the term to refer to financial markets in general, you’re being needlessly ambiguous.

Histrionic personality disorder is characterized by a long-standing pattern of attention seeking behavior. Someone with histrionic personality disorder wants to be the center of attention in any group of people, and feel uncomfortable when they are not. While often lively, interesting and sometimes dramatic, they have difficulty when people aren’t focused exclusively on them. Individuals with Histrionic Personality Disorder may have difficulty achieving emotional intimacy in romantic or sexual relationships. Without being aware of it, they often act out a role in their relationships to others. They may seek to control their partner through emotional manipulation or seductiveness on one level, whereas displaying a marked dependency on them at another level. Individuals with this disorder often have impaired relationships with same-sex friends because their sexually provocative interpersonal style may seem a threat to their friends’ relationships. These individuals may also alienate friends with demands for constant attention. They often become depressed and upset when they are not the center of attention. People with histrionic personality disorder may crave novelty, stimulation, and excitement and have a tendency to become bored with their usual routine. These individuals are often intolerant of, or frustrated by, situations that involve delayed gratification, and their actions are often directed at obtaining immediate satisfaction. Although they often initiate a job or project with great enthusiasm, their interest may lag quickly. Longer-term relationships may be neglected to make way for the excitement of new relationships. A personality disorder is an enduring pattern of inner experience and behavior that deviates from the norm of the individual’s culture. The pattern is seen in two or more of the following areas: cognition; affect; interpersonal functioning; or impulse control. The enduring pattern is inflexible and pervasive across a broad range of personal and social situations. It typically leads to significant distress or impairment in social, work or other areas of functioning. The pattern is stable and of long duration, and its onset can be traced back to early adulthood or adolescence. Abhorrent behavior on social media is a defense mechanism. It often results in online social groups focusing attention on the individual… Read more »

I do not think histrionic is still part of the DSM. I think it was removed.

Since I am often accused of trying to seek attention on this board I suspect your post was directed at that perception. I score within the normal range on the histrionic scale, though slightly above average. Well within a single standard deviation. About the top 40% percentile.

I have had a few pretty extensive psychological evaluation in my career. None resulted in any personality disorders or evidence of psychosis. And none disqualified me from any programs.

This board needs to take some damn responsibility for their own actions and stop whining about their perception that I want to be the center of attention.

THEY are making me the center of their attention. That is on them. My posts, politically, are generally opposing views, but the ridiculous excess of responses they generate is the responsibility of the morons that act like little happy shit dogs to a doorbell every time I post.

My posts, even innocuous ones attract way more than their share of response, most are complete empty bullshit. And even when I don’t post some on this board still talk about me.

I am not here for attention seeking. I am here because the issues on this board are relevant to my interests. I am also pretty damn fascinated with the way this group responds to things intruding on their environment or challenging their world view.

I piss people off sometimes, and they piss me off, but if someone can’t handle that it is on them. When I can’t handle it I take a break.

Jarhead

With the letter “I” being used 15 times in this post of yours, would anyone care to bet which key on his key board is going to need replaced before any other? ” Alex, for $100 I’ll take “What word/letter is the one most often used repeatedly to relay and describe both self-importance and delusional superiority?”

PAY ATTENTION LARS, Dave Hardin and Jarhead KNOW ME, you don’t.

holy shit….you have a reply for EVERYTHING! “Well actually the term was removed from the DSM and blah blah blah, I am professor of everything and rabble rabble rabble”. I bet you think you wrote the DSM. You know what that the symptomology behind Borderline Personality Disorder is not completely defined in the DSM, in fact a lot of psychotherapists are disputing the official statement. In my amateur expertise of diagnosing my fellow crackheads and tweekers while we sip slurpees outside the bus stop, I’ve come to be an expert on BPD. You suffer from it greatly; constant arguing with others due to the inability to empathize or justify the perspectives of others, never admitting to fault, delusions of greatness of the self while diminishing the values of those around you, compelled at a rapid rate to refute any evidence to the contrary brought forth to you against your own perceptions. In some places, like the real world, the street slang given to you would be “spaz”.

Hondo

He’s a legend in his own mind, Derek. And he wants everyone else to know he’s a legend, too.

Dave Hardin

You have some valid points. May I suggest that you consider a few possibilities. Histrionic tendencies with borderline features does not make an individual completely dysfunctional. You are well aware of your limitations with interpersonal communication. It has been an issue for a very long time. It does not make you wrong or right on any point. It exacerbates your ability to resolve conflict. You have already imprinted a “role” in your relationship with people here. The fact is you are actually not as far left in your positions as you have lead people to believe. You are a veteran, as such Jonn respects that fact and gives you free access to post as you wish. The caustic nature of your relationship with people here has caused some to leave this site. We all have an issue seeing ourselves through the eyes of others. Initially, your rebuttal to conflict concerned me that you may be a threat to people. In my opinion you are not a threat to anyone. The thing I ask that you consider is that you appeared to be one to many people. You appear to be much more radical in your positions than you actually are. Jonn does not ban people for simply having an opposing view. Mine and your presence here are a testimony to that fact. Self actualization is a lofty goal, one which we can never actually achieve. I am sure you agree with that. Consider the possibility that you are driven to be overly controversial and justify being so by holding a position that is not tenable. Lighten up, dedicate a little time voicing your support for things that you agree with. At some point you will step over the line of being so disruptive that Jonn will have no choice but to ban you. It is not what you say that is at issue. It is the manner in which you do it. There are times when you get vilified. You set up your relationship here. You deliberately did it. You are the only one who can change it. Hold your… Read more »
