Thursday morning feel good stories
Bobo sends us our first story this morning that happened in Temple Hills, Maryland where a homeowner met an intruder at the site of his uninvited entry into the home. The Homeowner had a firearm and ventilated the fellow. The article says that the intruder was only injured.
In Cocoa, Florida, another convenience store clerk sent a thief to the hospital. The clerk also fired shots at the fleeing getaway car, but there’s nothing about the driver being injured, only the thief.
In Falls River, Massachusetts, a convenience store clerk got into an altercation with a thief armed with a knife. The clerk had his own knife. The pair had a Three Musketeers moment until the thief took a powder and un-assed the AO.
In Chicago, Illinois, two fellows went to their local T-Mobile store and pretended to shop for phones. Then they pulled out their guns. An employee was also armed so he shot them before they could get a shot off. The pair ran from the store and straight to the hospital where the police found them and rounded them up.
“I think concealed carry is a great opportunity for managers, workers, employees to protect themselves in these cases. And our employee did a great job to protect themselves and the other employee,” said Neil Tadros, store manager.

Legally armed store clerks, in Shitcago of all places! Who’d’a thunk it?
Good for all these CITIZENS protecting themselves and their hard earned property and livlihood!
A significant win on multiple fronts in Chicago. The employee was enthusiastically supported by his employer, and both crooks shot without an innocent injured and before they could return fire. The NYPD needs to spend some time on the range with that guy.
“Police said the suspects, ages 24 and 35, are listed in serious condition at Stroger Hospital. Witnesses said they don’t believe the suspects ever fired their weapons.”
Excellent….someone has been spending time at the rage doing reflexive fire drills…..
Gee whiz, being a crook is SO much more dangerous these days with CCW laws and such, ain’t it? 😀
Amen and pass the ammunition…
I AM ALL FOR Gun Law Reform, I FIRMLY believe that every city, State and county should have gun laws exactly like what Kennessaw GA has in effect.
RE: the Cocoa FL case.
The “clerk” was actually the owner who had been robbed previously. In 2008 a robber got away with money. In 2010 the owner shot a guy in the stomach when he was trying to rob the store. In 2011, the store owner pulled out his gun and the would be thief ran away.
This owner is not one to be messed with.
In the current case, the police found one of the robbers on the ground outside the store with 3 bullet holes in him. The police then found the car with the other two who tried to explain how those nice fresh bullet holes got onto (into?) the car.
They failed.
About a month ago, Brevard County Sheriff issued a statement saying “the best way to deal with criminal with a gun is to have a gun yourself.” Anti-gun rights people went nuts.
Those same people aren’t saying anything now.
I wonder why?
