Tuesday morning feel good stories
A retired Marine in Clearwater, Florida, Wayne Nundy, sent an intruder to the hospital with life-threatening injuries when the intruder made the bad decision to charge Nundy and the Marine plugged him.
In Memphis, Tennessee, an intruder shot at a homeowner while he was in the house. The homeowner sent a load of birdshot in the fellow’s direction which dissuaded him from continuing. Daniel Rawlings goes to court today facing charges of aggravated burglary and attempted first degree murder.
Three armed thugs tried to rob a “Stop and Shop” store in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but the business owner had other ideas. One of the thugs was found by the police DRT (dead right there) from a head wound, another was in custody and the third is in the wind.
In Atlanta, Georgia, an armed shoplifter shot it out with a store clerk in the parking lot. Both of them needed range time because neither was injured after the smoke cleared.
In Indialantic, Florida, a homeowner disrupted a daylight burglary with his firearm. The homeowner claims that he wounded one thief as he un-assed the AO at a high rate of speed.
In Tampa, Florida, a masked and armed thief made threatening gestures at a convenience store clerk who pulled out his gun and delivered a life threatening wound at a critical point in the discussion.
Travis Neely and Eric Connell, in Logan County, Oklahoma, were in the process of stealing an ammunition reloading machine from a homeowner when the resident caught them in that process and held them with his gun until the police arrived.

If one comes across an ammo reloading set up in a home that they have broken into, one should assume that the other appropriate equipment must be in the same home and act accordingly.
I’ve noticed that the observation skills of criminals is usually sub-par at best.
My daughter works for the local city cops.
She will tell you in a heartbeat that the myth of the criminal mastermind is just that–a myth. They commit crimes because they are too stupid to do anything else.
Indeed, if they were really smart, we wouldn’t need to build prisons.
An ammunition loading machine, maybe a dillon, is what we call “a clue”. If I broke into a home with ill intent in mind and stumbled across a room with, I Don’t Know, brass, jugs of gunpowder, bullets, ammo etc I might post a friggen lookout.
“Dumb as a stump” doesn’t begin to define some of these dopes. They just won’t learn that there are many of us who just will not give in to having anything, anything at all taken from us, from our lives, down to the smallest of possessions.
It would seem that they are coached by some Dumb Sumbitch who doesn’t even know how to safely fly an airplane, i.e. checking the fuel to be sure that there is enough to make the intended flight with a 30 minute reserve.
Is there an uptick in these stories within a few days of another TV episode of ‘let’s take the guns away’? Just wondering.
Not sure, but what I am certain about is the uptick in the number of folks purchasing firearms, and seeking to obtain their Concealed carry License in my state.
Went to the gun store owned by an old family friend a couple times this past week, it was absolutely mobbed. Said he hasn’t been this busy in ages.
Lot’s of guns and ammo flying off the shelves.
This is in Liberal Massachusetts…
A friend of ours runs the NRA class required for a CPL, nearby. He doesn’t usually run a class in January or February, because of cold and snow. He has a class of 30 scheduled for this Saturday, one in two weeks, full also, and two in February, also full. This in a county that has less than 60,000 residents.
I have a relative who works in one of the big box outdoor stores, he’s the firearms manager, and he says they can’t keep up with demand for pistols.
Birdshot??!! Not enough club. 00 Buck, please.
Many drink from the Fountain of Knowledge, but these goblins are living breathing proof that some just gargle and spit!
Meanwhile .. across town ….
N.C. 3-year-old finds gun in dad’s store. He shoots himself dead.
His name was Manal Abdelaziz Jr., but he was better known as “Cash.” He had big eyes and an infectious, apple-cheeked smile. And he loved helping out his father at his convenience store in Lumberton, N.C.
“He was a lot of help for anything,” the boy’s father, Manal Sr., told WMBF Monday. “He liked to work. He would say, ‘I love to work.’”
Manal Jr. was sitting on a stool beside his father at the store on Sunday when he found a handgun stored on a shelf beneath the cash register. The three-year-old accidentally shot himself and died shortly after.
Are guns the only things that kill children? Would you give a shit if Manal Sr gave Jr a razor blade to play with, or a bucket of gasoline & a bic lighter? Would it make you sad that it was not a gun? You really do not care about the children do you? You just seem butt hurt that there are stories of people defending themselves with guns (and other means). Tell us the truth now.
“91A10” enjoys illustrating that even among those who are in possession of firearms, there are the 1%ers, who don’t know how to secure the hardware. Not one bit different than the kid who gets into Mommy’s knife drawer, or who puts the car in gear while the parents are grabbing a bottle or two of liquor down at the corner store. I wonder if he even realizes that he has yet to make a suitable illustration of how guns are bad in some way.
It thinks that every time he posts one of these stories, that he’s dissuaded hundreds from even thinking of a firearm purchase.
It works, I am going to throw all my guns into the deepest river in North America. If I had any that is.
well, he is improving his record – instead of publishing anecdotal stories from years ago, he is passing along current anecdotal bullshit. Tell us, 91A10, how many kids have died from thugs shooting thugs? How many aborted?
Very sad. Children drown in pools, break their necks on trampolines, break their backs falling off of swings. They electrocute themselves with power outlets, fall into farm implements, and poison themselves with cleaning chemicals and medications. They run into traffic and fall into sewer drains.
Life, in case no one has told you, is hazardous. There are no guarantees. Life is not a right; it’s a condition that nature can change in a heartbeat. Our young learn to survive by experiences both good and bad, just like every other animal on the planet. Our reproductive rate is high enough to cover for the young that die, just like with every other animal. There is no golden aura around a young human, any more than there is around a baby bird, or a spider’s egg sack. It’s called ‘survival,’ and some of us manage it, and some of us don’t. Pewling about it doesn’t help. Blaming inanimate objects doesn’t help. But pulling your head out of your ass and facing reality might actually do some good.
Sounds like another agenda pushing, feel good, urban myth. Cite references: date, store, address, town, “news”paper reported in. Or it didn’t happen.
I find it VERY difficult to believe that a three year old has the hand size, grip strength, and finger strength to pick up, hold, and pull the trigger on any gun. I could be wrong, but it will take a better LibTard than you to prove it to me.
Nice try, but you FAIL. Maybe you should focus on…let’s see…what cleaning chemicals mommy keeps stored under the sink?

Holly cow what was going on in Florida yesterday?
Must be the nice weather.
Florida is home of “Florida Man”, he is always getting into shit.
Ever heard of the “Florida Skunk Ape”? They say it’s ALMOST as ugly and smelly as The Dutch Rudder Gang!
