Tuesday morning feel good stories
AW1Ed sends us our first feel good story this morning from Tulsa, Oklahoma, where a Burger King customer was approached and threatened by a man with crowbar, so the armed citizen drilled him through the shoulder. Crowbar Boy took off in a getaway car and the police found him at a hospital.
In St Louis, Missouri, a 60-year-old shot and killed a 13-year-old who was stealing from the homeowner’s car. There aren’t too many details, but the police haven’t charged the man yet.
In Panama City, Florida another homeowner shot one of a pair of burglars. The wounded fellow left the scene in his SUV and the police found him in his home with wound to his leg, they escorted him to a hospital and they’re looking for his buddy.
In Henry County, Georgia, two roommates experienced a break in of their residence over the weekend, on the second attempt they were ready and opened fire on the pair of burglars. One was DRT (dead right there) and the other was DOT (dead over there) in a field behind the house.
In Liberty Township, Ohio, a delivry person was tricked into delivering food to an abandoned house where he was confronted by a pair of thieves, one of whom had a gun. The delivery guy put up a struggle and one of the thugs ended up shot and arrested. The Delivery guy was unharmed.
In Allentown, Pennsylvania, an armed thief threatened a store owner and demanded his money. The store owner buster out his own firearm and fired one errant round which chased the pair from the store.
Finally, GDContractor sends us link from from Dallas, Texas where yet another homeowner had to plug a fellow who invaded his home in the leg. Him and his partner were both arrested and the homeowner is unhurt.

Good shooting, people! Only one stray round, and no one shot the ground or the sky to stop the problem.
With regards to the St. Louis story, it sounds like the remaining kids are taking the lesson they learned to heart.
Taking a crowbar to a gunfight? DARWIN AKHBAR!
“So how did this coffee get all over your monitor?”
“Shut up and give me a towel.”
McDonough, Georgia, another place where it takes a giant set of brass balls to walk into a home uninvited with the intent to do harm. It was all country until about 20 years ago, and many of the residents live as if it is still backwoods Georgia (it’s about 20 miles from where they used to film The Dukes of Hazzard).
It sounds like barging into a house there is about as brilliant as doing so in Kennessaw GA!
CAIR and the lib media are all over the Pittsburgh story of the Muslin cab driver who was shot for being a Muslim–or so the Muslim says. Just google Muslim cab driver Pittsburgh for the hits. Here’s the thing. Muslim taxi driver says he picked up a fare at a place certain and took him to a specific address where, when they arrived, the fare said he forgot his wallet and asked the cabbie to wait. The cabbie waited 5 mins, the fare came out with a rifle and let loose, blowing out the rear window and hitting the driver, who was not seriously injured. In addition to having the fare’s address, there was video in the cab…yet, the police have named no one and have made no arrest. The police interviewed the driver but learned more details from reading the newspaper account of the incident than they did from interviewing him. The Muslim, who is not an American citizen, is quoted as saying that he just wants his rights. Follow-up on this will be interesting.
Sorry. I guess the Tuesday/Tuesdays start to tow threads confoosed me. This was meant for Claymore’s Crazy Corner.
Re: the Liberty Township story: I did not know that a part of the south side of Chicago had moved to Ohio. At least the delivery guy is okay. That’s been a very common thing that gangbangers do down on the south side – order stuff sent to an abandoned address, say they’ll pay for it on delivery, etc., then wait for the delivery guy to show up and rob him. Those abandoned houses should be torn down, period, in any city. I think in Detroit, the Fire department answers the call but lets the empty houses burn.
Yeah, and when they do it that way there’s a lot less debris going to some landfill! I’ve also seen where FD’s would use condemned houses for “target practice” after someone sets a fire in one and then let the remainder burn down after the training is finished.
Where I live, to the east of me, there are several neighborhoods with abandoned houses. Some of them are nice, some are junk. So the county is allowing people to purchase the good ones at a low cost as long as they rehab them and move in. The others are being demolished and the lots turned into garden space for those neighborhoods, which I think is a good idea.
Notice how peaceful it is without the carp over here?
In the link to the crowbar, one commenter asked if this occured in a “no crowbar zone” or a “no robbery zone”….
