Monday morning feel good stories
In Dayton, Ohio, a person was shot during a reported burglary. Police aren’t saying whether the injured person was the burglar or the resident, but we can hope can’t we?
In Reno, Nevada, homeowners were awakened by the sound of someone breaking into their house. They held the burglar at knife point until he began to resist, then they beat the snot out of him until the police arrived.
In Pinch, West Virginia, a pharmacist was forced to shoot a prospective thief in the chest when the man pulled a gun out and pointed it at the staff. The thief was DOT (dead over there) at the hospital, despite efforts of the pharmacy employees to keep him alive.

There is a shot list of states where armed robberies shouldn’t be attempted. West Virginia is on that list. He would have been better off to just drive to Maryland.
Only three stories?
‘Beat the snot out of him’ – colorful, short and to the point! Excellent!
In Reno, “They held the burglar at knife point until he began to resist, then they beat the snot out of him until the police arrived.” WRONG! If you don’t have my weapon which barks here and bites over there but only a knife, and the burglar, who has already made his intentions clear by breaking into their home, begins to resist, if you are close enough to beat hell out of him, then you are close enough for three well placed, twisting stabs and a final slice across the throat. Sorry folks if I sound callous but there will only be one story told…mine. I have no time or inclination to offer mercy to anyone who has already demonstrated their lack of mercy for me and my family. If the burglar had had a bigger knife, would the story have ended the same? I doubt it.
The first story should be Dayton,
OH…
