Tuesday morning feel good stories

| October 13, 2015

Our first story comes from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where a man was attacked by two others in the parking lot. He broke free and went back to his apartment. The two followed him and continued beating him until his girlfriend got her gun and convinced them to stop with a couple of rounds. One of them was struck by a bullet and he’s in critical condition. It looks like it might have been a drug rip-off since the apartment was found to contain a lot of weed by investigating officers.

Sorry, that’s all I could find last night. However, the leftists at Raw Story seem angry that the story we did yesterday about the fellow who shot a thief at the Waffle House in Charleston South Carolina didn’t result in an arrest for the Good Samaritan. They call him a vigilante;

Raw Story butthurt

Police in Charleston, South Carolina declined to press any charges against a Waffle House customer who shot and killed a man who was reportedly trying to rob the restaurant.

According to the WCSC Channel 5, police say 19-year-old Joshua Jermaine Davis of North Charleston entered the Waffle House restaurant on Dorchester Road shortly after 5 a.m. Saturday morning and pulled a gun on the staff, demanding money.

The Charleston Post and Dispatch said that a customer opened fire on Davis. Emergency responders rushed the would-be robber to Medical University Hospital where he died of his injuries.

North Charleston Police spokeswoman Lt. Angela Johnson told Channel 5 that the customer had a valid permit to carry a pistol and that officers will not be pressing any charges.

The author of the Raw Story article, David Ferguson, doesn’t mention what possible charge would trigger an arrest of a legally-licensed gun owner defending himself and employees of the Waffle House from an armed robber, but he’s obviously not an adherent of the “good guys with guns” principle.

Was Joshua Jermaine Davis a “would-be” robber only because he was shot in the act? In my book, once someone demands property with the threat of violence, he is a robber, not a “would-be”.

David

Think you’re a would-be if you try to rob someone unsuccessfully. He did, however, receive a free piece of lead – guess that should be the exception to the rule!

AZtoVA

That should be ALLEGED would-be robber. Get it right!

AND..the shooter is not a vigilante….he is a PANCAKE lover that was having his breakfast interrupted…! LOL

It’s obvious that the sniveling little liberal milquetoasts at Raw think that being a victim is cool. Just lay low and bawl for others to defend and protect you because defending yourself would make you an Alpha Type or worse, *GASP!*, a Conservative! Be humane, have your neighborhood liberals spayed or neutered!

The Lefties at “Raw Story” call us Vigilantes. Cool, but we prefer to refer to ourselves as “Legally Armed Citizens defending ourselves, our families and our fellow citizens”.
Suck it, gun grabbers.

My sentiments exactly, Frankie! I do kinda like the “Vigilante” label, it has a nice ring to it. Like I said, those booger-eating little milquetoasts expect everyone else to cower like they do when the SHTF and being a “victim” is cool in their candyassed little world, thus the ventilated goblin becomes the “victim” in their eyes. SCREW ‘EM!

David Ferguson needs to knock the sand out of his mangina (I refuse to say vagina, in his case, because I know many women that would have done the same thing to the bad guy). He’s only pointing out that he’s too much of a limp wristed beta male to do anything to protect himself or others. Actually, he’s advertising to bad guys that he’s an easy mark.

CLAW131

OT, here’s another old proverb that I think applies to David Ferguson:

“Wise men talk because they have something to say, Fools because they have to say something.”

I’m pretty sure that old dude Plato came up with that one.

BN

David Ferguson, a Beta male? Are you sure? I think you rank “him” too high. I would put “him” at Gamma, at best.

Hondo

Bingo.

Beta males can act bravely if led by example. Gamma males, in contrast, tend to stay cowering in the corner.

A Proud Infidel®™

I think Ferguson is little more than an “Omega Male”, one whose “Y” chromosome is his only link to being male. His type is that which always cowers in the corner denigrating those who take initiative and never ceases to quit bawling. That breed is very allergic to testosterone, thus it avoids anything competitive to avoid hurting its feelings and always bawls for an “Everyone gets a trophy” kind of event. Other things this breed tries to infect on its domain are Political Correctness, “Diversity”, and they try to infect others with the Mental Disorder known as “Liberalism”. They screech and bawl for everyone else to tolerate them and their breed but scream like fanatical WWII Nazis when someone dissents with them and their political agenda. Suggestions for dealing with them have included letting them colonize one place, but every time they do, they render it unliveable and then go infest other places like the exodus of them from California to go infest OR, WA, and CO.

Old Trooper, I am sure if the staff of RAW had been at the Waffle House and had to hand over their personal stuff along with the till money the thug would have stolen, they would have written an article about the continues ills and fallout from the Bush Administration and its effects on poor people like the thug who have to seek crime as a way to feed themselves. Or some such liberal nonsense. Along with a large font, side article about the ineffectiveness of the local police to protect them. The same police who I am sure would be an affront to their sensibilities if they stopped by the Waffle House for breakfast in uniform and armed. Especially after the RAW staff had their gay “man purses” stolen which included their sex toys and mangina creams and hand lotions. David Ferguson is like most of them. A coward and too scared of guns to even hold one without shaking it into disassembly, much less fire one. He’s the type that would rather die like a scared rabbit cowering in a bush than protect himself or his family. So for him and his ilk I say good. Then die when the thugs come for you, you pansy assed ball lickers.

Better to live to tell the tale than be buried by a bandit’s bullet.

I’m getting the impression that the whimpering masses would actually rather be victims, possibly dead victims, than alive and well. Could it be due to those little memorial spots where people leave balloons and plastic flowers? See, when you’re dead, you’re gone for good and at some point, no one remembers your name.

Darwin grins.

It’s hard to write about mass shootings when a good guy with a gun steps up and spoils the party. That’s what the Lefties are pissed about.

Silentium Est Aureum

Raw Story loves to play the sniveling victim angle.

Oh well, when seconds count, call me a vigilante, I guess.

In Dallas yesterday, we had a random murder on a jogging trail. A black guy was angry about something and hacked a random white jogger to death with a machete. I bet there are a lot more pistols on the jogging trail today, just a wild ass guess.

Turning his life around Davis, wasn’t quick enough on the trigger.

The customer said he took out his gun as the suspect was leaving the restaurant, and ordered him to drop his gun, but said Davis raised the weapon, and the customer engaged him in fire.

The lefties have a serious issue with the use of words. Words have meaning, usually a fairly specific meaning.

Like the word vigilante. Evidently they opt to remain misinformed as to the meaning of the word. Responding defensively to a bad situation is not included in the definition of vigilante.

Wonder if they also advocate that defensive drivers be incarcerated when they successfully avoid death in an auto accident. Hmmm.

jonp

Obviously the young man trying to turn his life around didn’t know that Waffle House has a nationwide no firearms policy. Luckily, the man who made him DOT ignored it also.

I wonder if Waffle House will now ban the good Samaritan from all of their stores?

jonp

Oh, Waffle House did release a statement:

From Brietbart

We are very fortunate that no associate or customer were harmed in this tragic incident. It is Waffle House, Inc., policy not to allow firearms with the exception of law enforcement officers, including security guards. It is our understanding that the customer involved was an off duty security guard who was carrying his firearm and the incident occurred outside the restaurant.

We are well aware that different people and businesses have varying opinions regarding this issue, and we respect the right of all to have different opinions. However, we continue to believe this is the best policy for the safety of our customers and associates.

We are very thankful that no other customers or associates were hurt and will continue to work with local law enforcement as they investigate this matter.
