Manuel Knight, phony SF in Sweden
I guess we have fans around the world because some folks in Sweden wrote to us about this fellow Manuel Knight, a motivational speaker who has been going around the land of my ancestors telling them that he’s a former special forces soldier;
Our Swedish friends tell us that he is doing speaking tours and he disparages US foreign policy of the last two decades claiming that it’s from the perspective of someone on the bayonet point in Grenada, Panama, Desert Storm and the War Against Terror;
Here’s the only picture of him in uniform, wearing the old Graf rain jacket;
And here’s another one of him with his unit in the desert, you see him, right?
Well, according to the National Personnel Records Center, no;
He was a 31V radio repairman/operator for eight years in the 3rd Armored Division in Germany. It looks like he made it to sergeant in all of those years and he got out of the Army after Desert Storm, and, of course, there are no deployments to Grenada or Panama no special forces training. He was assigned to 5/18th Infantry during Desert Storm and they deployed, but it doesn’t look like he did for whatever reason.
No chance to get the two or three Purple Hearts that he claims to have earned. But he does have a coin;

I figured after a picture like that the photographer had to be killed and the camera and film destroyed. How could a picture like that still exist after all these years?
Maybe an explanation from either Lars or Schlong will be forthcoming.
Purple Heart? Maybe from a RF burn in the RATT Rig. I got a couple of those before retiring. Rather painful.

So, if one of us had a coin with the presidential seal on it that would NOT prove something other than having been in a line somewhere or on a mailing list or some other circumstance? Pity.
Count me among those who possess a few coins, most of which have nothing to do with my own assignments beyond those assignments placing me in a position to interact with someone who was giving out coins that day. Several of them mean a great deal to me. The rest? Not so much.
I too have some meaningful coins. The others make nice spacers for the glass on my desk.

The thing with black guys in SF (S identifiers prior to CMF 18) especially during the time frame this cock kisser served … Its a pretty small number and we generally all know each other. I’ve reached out to a few friends and gee whiz…. None of them have ever heard of this fake piece of shit either! My time in group mirrors the time he claims to have served so he cant come back with it was before your time!!
Hello there, folks of the US!
We call ourselves ‘The Groundhogs’. We are a small group of ‘para-journalists’ living and working in Sweden. We are driven by an interest in checking facts and statements. This guy, Manuel Knight, makes millions of USD as a speaker touring in the Nordic countries, giving ‘lectures’ of how to create high-performance teams when you’re in business, education etc. Everything is based on his claims being a former SF operative, participating in 3 wars (sometimes 4), being a military psychologist, having earned both Purple Heart and Bronze Star and so on. These claims together caught our interest and so we started our digging.
Soon the lie of him being a psychologist was revealed and we reported this to swedish authorities i e to the police and to the prosecuter’s office. We hope they have started working with the task as falsely claiming to be a psychologist in Sweden is regarded as a criminal offense.
Unfortunately military posing is not. Manuel Knight might therefore be able to get away from this fraudulent behavior, unless US-authorities catches hem. (We gave the IRS some hints..) He is still an american citizen and he needs a passport. Therefore we have given The US Embassy in Stockholm full information of this man’s behavior and we have given them proof -100% secure stuff!
Good to see that our digging lead to this result! This man’s a shame!
Let’s hope we’ll soon see him stand trial -in front of an US court!

We can honestly say that our best reward for all those weeks of digging concerning Manuel Knight’s dirt, was to see him be presented here on ‘This Ain’t Hell’ as a poser. When the confirming mail from John Lilyea reached us yesterday morning GMT, we cheered.

Honestly: All these nice comments we now read here, they make us blush. The confirming information from John Lilyea that Manuel Knight really is a poser and a fraud, came so sudden to us that we haven’t fully taken it all in yet. In a way it was a surprise, though we for a long time knew there was something really fishy around Manuel Knight!
Now comes the interesting part of this poser-result: Will media in Sweden write about this man’s fraud? For instance: remember that ‘Sveriges Radio’ and ‘Sveriges Television’ (both publicly financed) have presented him as a psychologist and a former member of Special Forces. Millions of people in Sweden have watched him on TV and listened to broadcasted programs. We’re now eagerly waiting for these media’s excuses and explanations.
In this country all you would have to do is include a closing sentence: “Sources also tell us he is a Republican and a supporter of the 2nd Amendment”. The media would destroy him.

Millions of folks thought The False Commander Phil Monkress (CEO of All-Points Logistics) was a SEAL and Native American (LEO came later after he was exposed).
But not so much. They learned the harsh truth and now wonder where their hard earned taxpayer dollars actually went.
Some good advice: just wipe your feet of this shitbag, like many did with Phil Monkress, and move on.
Sveriges radio won’t touch it because they are too busy supporting BS like #montergate.

About ‘Sveriges Radio’: One of the hallmarks in their broadcasting is a program called ‘Sommar’ (summer). It’s been running every day, every summer for 50 years. If you’re lucky enough you get chosen to create your own program. In the year 2008 they gave Manuel Knight free access to the microphone for 1½ h. He was presented with all his fake experiences and it’s still available on the Internet.
The Groundhogs aim is to make ‘Sveriges Radio’ forced to remove all those stolen valors etc from their presentation of this poser. With the information now given to us from TAH, we’ll give them a rough time if they don’t. They already know about us. Next week we’ll contact them again. Then we won’t be humble!
If you want to know where he got the coin from just ask me. I took him at his word after listening to one of his speeches which was pretty good. Afterwards I talked to him briefly and then I coined checked him which we used to do to each other when I was in SF. He naturally didn’t have one and asked if we still did that. I gave him the coin which is a 1st group coin my father gave me who was SF since JFK authorized the wearing of green berets. I’m in Texas now and have people checking him out just for sure.
