Monday morning feel good stories
This morning we read the story of a pair of thugs, one woman and one man who forced their way into a woman’s apartment in Corpus Christi, Texas. The woman thug claimed that she was an ex-girlfriend of the man who lived there (he wasn’t home at the time). The pair assaulted the woman until she had enough and grabbed her own firearm and ventilated the female criminal, while the male unassed the AO at a high rate of speed. He was caught later and his accomplice was DRT (dead right there).
In an update to one of our previous feel good stories about a man in Warren, Michigan who faced down a bank robber. The good Samaritan exited the restroom of the bank and the robber shoved his gun in his face. Our hero said it was time to “get or get got”, pulled out his nine millimeter handgun and fired eight times hitting the thief three times which made his capture a little easier. Mister Bank Thief is in federal custody while he recovers from his wounds and charges won’t be brought against the good guy. The bank robber is familiar with the justice system since his conviction for murder and assault in 1989.
In Bellaire, Ohio, Two fellows in ski masks and with a gun broke into a man’s house where he got the drop on them and fired his own gun. They un-assed the AO at a high rate of speed, and at least one of them left blood evidence for the police.

The guy in Corpus Christi is going to find out how much it sucks to go to jail for murder when you weren’t the one who pulled the trigger. He should have thought of that a little earlier.
One DRT, and a blood trail? That’ll give them lots and plenty of DNA evidence for that goblin’s upcoming trial and conviction. Before they had ways of analyzing DNA like they do these days, just a matching blood type with one found at a crime scene was enough to send some to Death Row.
3 hits out of 8 shots: that dear fellow needs a bit more range time. But he did at least teach his opponent a dirt lesson.
And at extremely close range if the story is believed
I’m guessing that some of those shots were fired while the guy was struggling with the bank robber, Ex-PH2. That might have affected the guy’s aim.
Still: Five perps – with 1 DRT, 1 wounded and in custody, 1 wounded and on the run, 1 apprehended, and only 1 on the run (presumably) uninjured except for dirty skivvies. That’s like a 3-for-4 day at the plate with a HR and 2 doubles – plus a sac fly.
Not a bad day’s work, really.
good tally on today’s stories.
I love these DRT stories. Happy endings all day for everyone with those tales of derring do !!!
Love the stories and I still haven’t slept. I got had a fabulous day with my crew and have never talked on the phone for 19+ hours. The day will come and I will share. God bless AMERICA!
