Of RINOs and Rahms
While the entire media is focused on Achmed Olbermann throwing his shoes at President Bush (I shit you not – our local news station opened with a five minute report and the shoe tossing video replayed three times) , John McCain and Colin Powell are doing what they do best – pissing off Republicans. DrewM at Ace of Spades links to an ABC story in which McCain says Republican National Committee calls for the Obama team to come clean aren’t being helpful. From Bits Blog the video that McCain doesn’t like;
Michelle Malkin writes that Colin Powell has decided that the country is divided because of Rush Limbaugh (it couldn’t be Al Franken, could it?) and Sarah Palin is too polarizing. And, oh, he says that we need to reevaluate Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell – just because it’s old policy. Not that it’s good or bad – it’s just old.
So they’re all in RINO mode like they were after the 2006 election. Being nice guys is what got us here, folks.
But, in more heartening news, Rahm Emanuel is being pressured to resign according to Sweetness and Light. The report is coming from the Australian Herald Sun. It reminds me that the only news about Clinton scandals were coming from overseas for the longest time.

Speaking of Old (Colin)…..Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell is so on the radar. My 11th graders came home this week talking about it. (of course, the girl was temporarily sucked into the “mean-ness” of it all…. the boy… not so much!)
I happen to like the policy…
