Friday morning feel good story
This morning’s story, from Missouri, is pretty skimpy on details, but an off-duty female police officer had to shoot a burglar who made the poorly considered decision to force his way onto her home. Apparently, a struggle between the two ensued and ending when the officer shot Mr. Criminal in the leg. Unfortunately, during the struggle, the officer was injured, as well. But it looks as though both the officer and Mister Criminal will recover.

Over all, Officer what’s her name needs some training on approaching a possible burglary in progress scene, especially her own home.

But who knows.
In a close in struggle maybe the leg shot was the only thing available.
