Tuesday feel good stories
Our first feel good story comes from Kentucky this morning;
Jeffersontown Police say a white male attempted to rob Kute’s Liquors on Watterson Trail Friday night. He pulled a gun and ordered the clerk to the back of the store, but the clerk pulled his own gun as well.
According to police, when the attempted robber pointed his gun at the clerk, the clerk shot him in the chest.
Police say the attempted robber left the scene and went to Baptist Health Urgent Care on Taylorsville Road where police found him in the parking lot.
Then it’s on to Detroit;
Police say a 29-year-old woman was upstairs when someone broke into her house in the 5500 block of University Place. Her brother was downstairs on the couch, and she heard shots fired at around 3:40 a.m.
She said she heard someone asked if there was anyone else in the house, so she armed herself and stood at the top of the stairs.
Shortly afterwards, a man arrived at St. John Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. He is listed in critical condition. A police source tells Local 4 that the man was an intruder in the break-in.
Police say the man who was shot told them that someone shot him on Chandler Park and he called a cousin to take him to the hospital.

I love it when a goblin’s would-be victims turn out to be armed and unafraid to defend themselves, it’s even better when the perps end up assuming room temperature, then they don’t have to be fed, clothed, and housed at taxpayers’ expense.
He took a round to the chest and his injuries aren’t “life threatening”? Either he got really lucky, or there needs to be a caliber adjustment by the store clerk.
Yep. “Succumbed to sucking chest wound” would have made for a “kute” ending.
There is that one-in-a-million shot that misses everything, even center mass.
If it’s good enough for a single shot, better double tap. If you’re going to double tap center mass, spend the extra $0.38 and put one in the head for good measure.
