Six arrested for support of ISIS
Andy11M sends us a link to the Associated Press which reports that six Bosnians were arrested on Friday for their material support to ISIS;
The indictment unsealed Friday in U.S. District Court in St. Louis alleges they plotted by phone, Facebook and email; shared videos and photos related to their plans on social media sites; sent money via PayPal and Western Union; and shipped boxes of military gear through the U.S. Postal Service.
The defendants are accused of donating money themselves and, in some cases, collecting funds from others in the U.S. and sending the donations overseas. It says two of the defendants, a husband and wife in St. Louis, used some of the money to buy U.S. military uniforms, firearms accessories, tactical gear and other equipment from local businesses and ship it to intermediaries in Turkey and Saudi Arabia who forwarded the supplies to fighters in Syria and Iraq.
One of the people charged was 34-year-old, Mediha Medy Salkicevic, a mother of four living in Chicago.

The other co-defendants, all Bosnian immigrants, were charged in Missouri, where they purchased military equipment from surplus stores, according to the indictment. Salkicevic will likely soon be sent to St. Louis, where she was indicted.
The conspiracy began no later than May 2013, with Salkicevic using email, phones and social media websites such as Facebook to communicate using code words like “brothers,” lions” and “Bosnian brothers,” according to the indictment.
Salkicevic transferred money on multiple occasions to co-defendant Ramiz Zijad Hodzic in St. Louis, which was sent to fighters in Syria, Iraq and elsewhere. Payments were made via PayPal and Western Union, according to the indictment.

We take these muslim “refugees” in (like these Bosnians, the Tsarnaev brothers of Boston Marathon bombing fame, Somalians, etc.), we give them a good life, support them for years, and too many of ’em turn on us.
This is not the first incident of Bosnian muslim nonsense in this country… mall shooting in Salt Lake City, planned bombing of some fuel depot or something in the NYC area, etc.
The Serbs warned us about Bosnian and Kosovar muslims, and they were dealing with the problem. But we had to interfere in the Balkans, bomb the Serbs for weeks, and later we and the EU/NATO were instrumental in the creation of not one, but two independent muslim countries in southeastern Europe (Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo). That makes 3 muslim countries (including Albania) right in Europe.
Anyone besides me think this won’t end well??

The Serbs are Christians, and were our good allies in WW2, known best for rescuing and protecting downed US airmen.
Even in the communist days of the former Yugoslavia, they marched to their own drummer, were NOT a member of the Warsaw Pact, and posed no threat to us or Europe.
We and NATO screwed Serbia good, when we bombed ’em for weeks in 1999, then helped created independent muslim countries (Bosnia and Kosovo) right on their borders. Many Serbs now hate us, when they didn’t before. And I can’t blame ’em.
So how exactly does one “plot” on FB?

Yet we jail those that financially support terrorists and leave the combat hardened terrorists to relocate to the US.

Of course a hearing will be held tomorrow to see if “Contestant #1” will be allowed to travel from Chicago to St. Louis on her own or be escorted – seriously ?

Well, that’s for a bail hearing and the trial is in MO, not IL where she lives. So, if bail is set and she makes it, she’ll be given a date to appear in MO. If bail is denied or set so high that she can’t make it, she will be flown in custody to MO for the hearing. I liked that her atty declined to provide any info about her other than that she is employed and the mother of four. Cute. He also reminded the world that she is presumed to be innocent. That’s true, for now anyway.
I get it , however if there is enough to take into custody – i’ma thinking there would be enough to retain a flight risk – then again – the LAW is the LAW (unless it isn’t). As a Mom with 4 Kids, I’d never leave them (most days) – She might believe different
