Christopher Lee Cornell; Ohio terrorist
Ex-PH2 sends us a link to the story of Christopher Lee Cornell who recently converted to Islam, changed his name to Raheel Mahrus Ubaydah and then promptly decided to blow up the US Capitol with the help of his pal, an FBI informant;
The complaint against Cornell charges him with attempting to kill officers and employees of the United States.
Cornell was arrested Wednesday after buying two semi-automatic rifles and about 600 rounds of ammunition, authorities said.
The public was never in danger, said John Barrios, acting special agent in charge of the FBI’s Cincinnati division.
His father says that Chris is “one of the most peace-loving people I know”. Dad ought to check out of his circle of friends, in that case. Young “momma’s boy” planned to use explosives and firearms to kill as many employees at the Capitol as he could. And he wanted to do all of that in solidarity with the Islamic State.
I’m guessing that if you run into a fellow who wants to sell you guns and explosives for your dastardly plot to kill Americans, that fellow is probably an FBI informant. But, that’s just a guess, on my part, given recent history.

She said that she did so because of his mental state. So, when does the FBI actually ferret out these kooks? They seem always to be serving themselves up for prosecution, either on social networks or, in the Kleenex case, calling the police themselves.

He is absolutely right not to put all religious violence at the feet of radical Islam because RELIGIOUS VIOLENCE IS COMMITTED BY HUNDREDS OF FAITHS WORLDWIDE. And it is essential to our national security efforts and long term stability that we do not fall into a pattern of framing this issue as a war between Islam and the west. If we do that we do EXACTLY WHAT RADICAL ISLAMISTS HAVE BEEN TRYING TO DO FOR DECADES. There are far too many evangelical wingnuts in the military who already think that we are fighting a war against Islam, the last thing we need it the Commander-in-Chief giving them validation. We are at the brink of a religious war in several location worldwide, something religious extremists on BOTH SIDES want. Empowering those psychos and giving them what they want is asinine. This is fundamentally a struggle against religious extremism not just Islamic extremism.

Specific verses in the koran call for just that, and conversion from islam is a capital offense under shariah law, it’s call “apostasy ” and citizens of muslim countries like Saudi Arabia can be executed for that. If muslims are so tolerant, then why the absence of Jewish Temples and Churches in muslim countries? When was the last time we heard about Roman Catholics in Africa carbombing mosques with a vengeance, hey wait, yeah, it’s the other way around, STUPID!!!
