Friday morning feel good stories
Our first story this morning comes from Nevada;
A suspect was shot and killed after police say he invaded a home near South Cimarron Road and Alta Drive. The shooting occurred Wednesday night shortly after 11:30 p.m. at a home on the 8000 block of Cactus Flower Court.
Police say the man kicked in the front door of the home. Someone inside the home then shot the man multiple times.
The next story comes from Ohio;
38-year old Anthony Williams…owns Tony’s Auto Salon on Monroe street next to the Cherry Street Mission. He says he was closing up for the evening. He started up his silver Mercedes and went inside. He says he noticed a man in the car.
“I grabbed the door and that’s when the gentleman lunged at me with the knife,” said Williams.
Williams says he shot the guy.
“The car was still kind of rolling back. He just jumped out and lunged at me and turn and run at the same time and that’s when I fired,” said Williams.
Police say Jerome Thompson took off running. Police eventually found him at Jefferson and 19th. The bullet hit him in the right side.
Thompson faced a judge Wednesday on a charge of aggravated robbery. Police says he’s from Maryland. As for the victim, he says his mother made him buy a gun for protection, but he never thought he would have to use it.

Mr. Thompson’s mom bought him a gun for protection. Smart lady. There should be more parents like her.
See, Psul, someone from Maryland traveled all the way to Ohio with a knife just to boost a car, but you can’t seem to find your way just a few miles down the road to come and visit me?
