WV State Police catch cop shooters
A father-son team was arrested by West Virginia State Police yesterday after they shot two Lewisville police officers, Lt. Jeromy Dove and Patrolman Nicholas Sams, during a traffic stop;
Both men were arrested on Thursday following a traffic stop on Interstate 64. According to Baylous, when officers pulled over a Chevrolet SUV with stolen tag a red Chevrolet truck pulled over as well.
“As the officers were conducting the traffic stop, the driver of the red truck pulled a handgun and shot at both officers. Both officers were wounded. One of the officers was able to respond to the threat with his department issued firearm, resulting in the suspect being wounded in the leg. The driver of the white SUV left the scene,” says Baylous. “The shooting suspect went over the hillside and was eventually taken into custody by the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department. The other suspect drove behind a guardrail on the interstate and hid for a short amount of time. Eventually, he walked up to the Interstate and turned himself into law enforcement without incident.”
The two were identified as father and son Edward and Eric Campbell from Texas. Underneath a mattress in the bed of the pickup, police found two bodies, Jerome Faulkner, 73, and his wife Dora, 62, from Oak Hill, NC. They were killed in a “random act of violence” according to the police.
The two officers weren’t seriously wounded and are in good condition. Eric, on the other hand, looks as if he may have learned not to shoot at police officers.

Well too bad these two dipshits are still breathing. They are going to consume a lot of resources over the next few decades.

I’d say they’ve probably got a date with the lethal injection needle in NC before too long.
Oak Hill or Oak RIDGE? Because I think I’ve seen this asshole before…
It’s Oak Hill in Granville County. I grew up near Oak Ridge (Stokesdale).
What a great father-son bonding New Year’s Day activity: offing a couple of AARP members!!! How about watching the Sugar Bowl together?
Looks like the one got his ass beat pretty good
Oh, no! I’d say that he tripped and fell…20 times. Or alternatively, a wall jumped out in front of him.
Fell up a couple flights of stairs is what it looks like to me. Should have fallen back down those same flights. Maybe he would have accidently broke his f-ing neck.
It looks like Campbell, the younger received the good ol’ Hickory Shampoo treatment before he was brought in. Damn lucky to have survived. We used to call that “death by misadventure”. The arresting officer must not have had a throw away on him.
Too bad they’re not morgue mug shots.
Oopsy daisy – looks like someone tripped and fell on the way to the station.
The fact that they are still breathing means something was done wrong.
Looks to me like junior there, slipped going up the hill. Repeatedly, slick wet grass and dirt suck. haha!
He could have been very clumsy while getting “cuffed and stuffed”, you know, “Watch your head, Sir, *BONK!*, I SAID, watch your head *BONK!*,…”
A local judge was concerned when prisoners were brought before him with bruises indicative of having been struck by deputies upon arrest. When asked about these injuries, the prisoners always answered, “I walked into a door, Your Honor.” One prisoner, who had given the deputies quite a tussle on a drunk-and-disorderly arrest, came into the courtroom with black eyes, cut cheekbones, and split lips. Horrified at this spectacle, the judge demanded “What happened to you?!” The prisoner responded, “I walked into a door, Your Honor.”
The judge was silent for a long minute, then asked, “How many times?”
Stop resisting! “BONK”!!! I said STOP RESISTING! “BONK”!!!
Don’t think we’ll see much protesting over this one. Glad the officers are going to be ok. These guys? Meh, not a shit to be given.
We need to reign in these cops that think it’s ok to shoot back at murderers then have the gall to abuse the poor prisoner. I’m calling the Rev. Al immediately on this one.
Sorry, Air Cav, but Rev Al don’t answer calls about white boys. If they run afoul of the law, they are on their own.
West Virginia is not Missouri ! People here have respect for our police officers. We expect them to lay their life’s on the line to protect us ,we are going to do right by them! “Hillbilly justice is what they got !”
I just wish the officer had been a better shot. Sorry some of our Texas trash blew that far down the road.
State troopers don’t meas around
*tips hat*
Huh, someone ‘resisted arrest’.
In this case, good. But I hope the officers involved use good discretion and don’t over-do it.
Had a father-son shooter team in Arkansas a while back. Killed two West Memphis Police at a traffic stop and shot it out with others in the Wal-Mart parking lot. I was privileged to shake the hand of the Arkansas Game & Fish officer who rammed their van while shooting through the windshield. Suffice to say he saved taxpayers the cost of two injections.
Fry them.
Looks like he resisted…a lot!
