Sunday morning feel good stories
From Chief Tango comes our feel good stories once again. The first is from Indiana, which seems to have an upswing in these stories;
IMPD said the call came in at 9:17 p.m., when homeowner said he’s fire shots at two intruders in his home on the 4500 block of Devon Court on Indianapolis’ northeast side.
The caller told police he thought some of the shots hit an intruder, but wasn’t sure.
Police said a person who had been shot appeared at Community East Hospital, about three miles south of the shooting scene, a short time later. They would not say whether they suspected the two incidents to be related.
The next story comes from Missouri;
Things took a dramatic and near deadly turn Thursday night when Bayazid’s typically quiet clothing store erupted with gunfire. Police said a man attempted to rob Bayazid, but within moments witnesses told police Bayazid pulled out his 9 millimeter handgun and exchanged gunfire with the suspected robber, hitting him.
Bayazid’s sisters said the attempted robber got what he deserved. As for Bayazid, he suffered nine gunshot wounds to his stomach, thighs and arm. Amazingly, none of his major arteries were hit.
“He’s really lucky, like, he was shot so many times and everyone, when they first heard the story, we thought he was gone,” one of Bayazid’s sisters said.

Home/business owners in Indiana defend themselves with guns? Imagine that! Those who issue threats should take notice. (smile)
Two incidents, two perps hit with one of them dead. Not bad.
Truly sad to read about the store owner getting hurt, though.
I still have several cop friends here in Indy. They’re calling certain parts of the city Napganistan. Getting crazy out there, boys & girls.
