Friday morning feel good stories
Amy sends us our first feel good story today, it’s from Texas;
The man first called 911 to say that someone was trying to break into his home, then called again minutes later and reported that the would-be burglars were smashing the window next to his door with rocks.
He told a dispatcher that he had a shotgun.
“You break into someone’s house, I believe you deserve to get shot,” said neighbor Derenda Carr. “Cops don’t get there in time; there’s no way they would’ve got there in time.”
A neighbor across the street said he heard two shots and looked out his bedroom window to see more gunfire.
“I saw a girl run out of the house and a guy chasing after her walking speed,” said witness Brian Valera. “He was very, very angry. He yelled very threateningly at them.”
One of the women collapsed in the street as the other one lay wounded in man’s doorway.
The car the women traveled to the neighborhood in had been reported stolen earlier in the day, according to deputies.
[…]
Neighbors say the women, identified by law enforcement as young adults, knocked on several doors before picking their target.
Chief Tango sends the second story from Mississippi;
The man said he was lying in bed about 9:40 a.m. Wednesday at his home in the 3100 block of Wisconsin Avenue, when he heard someone knocking at his door and demanding to be let in, according to a news release from the Vicksburg Police Department. When he didn’t answer, a woman, identified by police as 42-year-old Betty Robertson, forced the door open and went into the man’s bedroom.
The homeowner told police that while still lying in bed, he fired two shots toward the bedroom door. One of the bullets struck Robertson, authorities said. Robertson and a second intruder fled the scene, police said.
About 10 minutes later Carl Marshall, 55, called 911 to report that his girlfriend had been shot, police said. When officers arrived at a home in the 3100 block of Indiana Avenue, they found Robertson suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg, authorities said.

But the idiotic sheeple that comprise memebership of Moms demand Action and other Bloomberg supported groups would say they shouldn’t be able to protect themselves with a gun. Hell in my state you were requred to make every effort to escape from your own home, and not use deadly force against the intruder. Prefer trial by 12 over being dead myself.
Know your states laws on defense/self-defense and articulate your actions under such…..IE; “Feared for my life”…More field agents of the Obama Department of Wealth Redistribution (DoWR) benched. That reparations thingy didn’t work out too well for ’em. lol!
So now the women are catching the buckshot? I guess the commies will now point to this as “the new war on women”?
