Steve Cushman in his local media

Steve Cushman

We’ve been on this phony Air Force pilot, Steve Cushman since June. He claimed, initially, that he was an Air Force pilot for seven years, well, until we exposed him for lying (he was actually an Air Force ROTC cadet for a year and an Airman First Class in the Reserves). He said that he never claimed to be a pilot, and that our definition of a “veteran” was too narrow and not inclusive enough. By the way, he quit ROTC just a few days after Hussein invaded Kuwait and the President announced that we would intercede. But, anyway, several people from Wakulla County, FL where Cushman is running for County Commissioner, have been asking questions of us. The local print-only paper wrote an article that went out in the mail yesterday, you know, a week before the elections, so here it is;

Wakulla Independent Reporter

So, good luck in the elections next week, Wakulla County. We’ll be watching.

Here, these screen shots are a little more legible;

Apparently he meant in dog years…

nbcguy54

I guess this means we won’t be getting a Christmas card from him this year?

Sparks

nbcguy54…Really? Ya think so? But what the heck. At least it’s one less I’ll have to send in return.

ChipNASA

I hope he get’s his dick stomped and then comes here crying afterwards.

Mike Kozlowski

…Yeah, I’m betting on this one.

Well, I would hope that exposing this douchebag’s lack of veteran cred would make a difference. Then I remember the Connecticut Senate race of a few years back.

Hope exposing lies works this time.

James in Gulf Breeze

He’s a veteran… you can tell by his high cheekbones…

Roger in Republic

James, that one wins the Internet post of the month. You hit two liars with one punch!

rb325th

Not only is he a phony Vet, he is also a deadbeat dad… Not sure which I hate more to be honest. If all you want to do is donate sperm, do it at a sperm bank.

ChipNASA

I don’t think he wants to drive all the way to Wilson Lane in Bethesda Maryland. 😀

rb325th

So glad I was not eating or drinking when I read that!!

SJ

Maybe he’ll retain that crack WA/FL lawyer?

Wonder if he has a flight helmet with his call sign on it on his coffee table?

Green Thumb

Better yet, I wonder if All-Points Logistics will make a significant campaign contribution.

They are known poser supporters and sympathizers.

Kinda old ET1

That newspaper skewered him mighty well. And he thought we were rough on him.

THE TRUTH HURTS when you lie, cheat and con people! I wonder what his next con game will be?

2/17 Air Cav

I got two words regarding my hopes that this guy will be rejected by the voters: Wasserman Schultz. That nut was elected to the Fl House, Senate, and then elected and re-elected to the US House. So, I’m not holding my breath when insane people like Debbie Wasserman Schultz are FL voters’ idea of good politicians.

UpNorth

Yeah, let me just add Charlie Crist to your list, 2/17.

So not only is he a valor thief, but he’s a deadbeat dad. He’s also lied about his education and has even called himself an “adjunct professor.” he’s obviously cheated people and lied to them most of his adult life. Just more proof that stolen valor isn’t a victimless crime and is usually a sign of much deeper character flaws and even criminal activity.

Hondo

Can’t find anything to disagree with in your assessment here, ArmyATC. That would be my conclusion as well.

Just my opinion, of course.

So, does this article count as an “October Surprise”? I do so love surprises. Especially when they hammer a poser!

rfisher

There’s “Happy Birthday” surprise, and then there’s Pearl Harbor surprise. I think that this is the latter.

Combat Historian

The article did not mention that although he was an A1C in the USAFR for a year, he apparently NEVER reported for enlisted basic training. If someone enlisted but never reported for any basic training, that person is a civilian and should never ever be referred to as a “Veteran”…

GDContractor

I found this via facebook but you do not have to go to facebook to read it. It is a .pdf document that is interesting reading, written by someone who has met Cushman:

Has he “lawered up” yet like he said he would? /sarc
The shit some people try to pull still amazes me. I wonder where he’ll try his next con game?
