So, everyone wave goodbye to Jimmy Amos. According to Wiki, General Dunford is an infantryman at heart, unlike his predecessor. He’s also a Ranger School grad, which gives me hope for him. I’m pretty sure that there is no correspondence course for that, which excluded Amos from participation.

Semper Fidelis and may God guide you to General Dunford as he assumes his duties as our 36th Commandant. And even for all the things I disagree with him on, fair winds and following seas to General Amos as he departs.

MGySgtRet. Here-Here. Good luck to General Dunford. He has his work cut out for him. Things could be looking up here. Now maybe if the Army will follow suit with a like minded Commander, things could really change for the better.

What is it you dont like about the current Chief of Staff? Odierno might not be the smartest guy in the world but he is tough amd aproven warfighter. He is an artilleryman by trade, but dont hold thzt against him…
