Tuesday morning feel good story

Chief Tango sends us our feel good stories again this morning, they’re both from Texas today, the first from Liberty County, where a fellow decided to steal a camper without checking to see if it was occupado;

James Brown of Liberty County, Texas, already had his handgun and cellphone in hand when he said he made his way toward his camper’s door upon waking around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday to suspicious sounds coming from outside.

“They were getting it prepared to hook off and take off,” he told KHOU.

Brown…opened his side door and leaned out with his loaded gun ready while his trailer tore out of his driveway and down the road.

He missed the thief, but stopped the robbery.

In Texas City, another fellow tried to break into a home by kicking at the door, until he saw a sign that said “Trespassers will be shot; Survivors will be shot again” and he changed his mind about committing the crime, apparently;
