Wednesday morning feel good story

| July 30, 2014

This morning’s feel good story comes from Tennessee where a not-very-sneaky teenager left the scene of his bad behavior with a few more holes than he came with;

The investigation revealed that the homeowner saw a man walk past his front window, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release today. A short time later he heard tapping at the back bathroom window. He then saw a brick being thrown through the bathroom window. As the burglar was entering the bathroom window, the homeowner shot at the burglar, authorities said.

The burglar went back out the window and ran, the release said.

In the process of checking the area, deputies made contact with a 16-year-old boy on Denmark-Jackson Road who had two gunshot wounds to his arm. The teen was taken to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital for treatment. After the teen was released from the hospital, he was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.
