Obama White House denies entry for Iranian terrorist

Iran tried to send a former terrorist who had been part of the invasion of our embassy in Tehran in 1979 as a UN ambassador. Jimmy Carter rushed to his defense while the White House discussed it’s dilemma. According to the BBC, it’s just been announced that Hamid Aboutalebi has been denied a visa;

President Barack Obama has come under intense pressure from the US Congress not to allow him to enter the country.

Earlier this week, the White House told the Iranian government its selection of a one-time student revolutionary to be UN ambassador was “not viable”.

A spokesman for Iran’s mission to the UN, Hamid Babaei, described the decision as “regrettable” and said it contravened international law.

I’m glad that the White House decided, in this case, to block a terrorist from entering the US. I guess they figured that they needed to act differently than Jimmy Carter for once.

That’s one in a row.

First, it’s time to bronze Jimmy Carter like a pair of baby shoes and put him in a library somewhere. Next I am glad the White House said NO. If I know a criminal is coming to my home who did me previous grievous harm, the only reason I would allow it is to take retribution.

Carbonite, Sparks. We need to find actual carbonite.

You want to revive him later? Why?

Even a blind chipmunk finds the occasional acorn. This makes exactly twice in six years Barry has been forced to do something with which I agree.

Wait…WHAT!? The Obama White House denies entry to a terrorist? Did you guys get this story from The Duffle Blog?

I predict an “all hands on deck” search for the enemy of the state who bamboozled the Obama administration into this abhorrent action.

NSA analysts in SWAT gear with deadly encrypted CDs will invade homes all over Washington. Ex-CIA director Morrell will write a public statement for ex-Secretary of State Clinton who will deliver it a couple of days later after her staff massages it. Ex-HHS Secretary Sebelius will terminate health coverage for someone working for a conservative 501(c)(4) organization. The BLM will round up and hold suspected pets. There will be fire and brimstone.

Then, Mr. Obama will change his mind and let this jackwagon into the country and things will return to normal.

A Regime(not our own) issued a statement claiming that this decision, to bar a terrorist, “contravened international law”? Those guys ought to get jobs writing for Jimmy Fallon or Stephen Colbert.

The Obama admin did it because they have an opening for him in Homeland Security.

On another note. Knowing he was part of the terrorists involved in Embassy invasion in 1979, why did we not let him in…then arrest him?

Farflung Wanderer

Diplomatic immunity. I don’t think you can arrest UN Ambassadors willy-nilly, even if they are guilty of a real major deal like this.

Okay now I see. He was coming under the guise of diplomacy. Who knew? Just goes to show, if you keep you head down and keep your nose clean, even a terrorist can become a diplomat someday.
