The above screen shot is from a campaign video on Michelle Nunn’s website. Michelle Nunn is running for Senator in Georgia as the Democrat candidate. I guess there aren’t enough real soldiers in Georgia, they had to find the one doofus in the state who doesn’t even know how to wear a beret to star in their commercial. And WTF is he doing wearing a beret with blue suit for?

The real story is the 30 seconds of absolute pap. “I’m optimistic about Georgia’s future. And that’s why I approved this message.” Oh what bullshit. But she’s Sam Nunn’s daughter so just dispense with the election and give her the seat, I guess.
Her last name isn’t even NUNN anymore..she’s married. She changes what she stands for constantly. While talking to Republicans she says doesn’t agree with Obama. She won’t answer reporters on what she actually stands for.

She’s “optimistic” about Georgia…one of a handful of states that has retained it’s AAA credit rating with Moody’s…one of the hardest hit states in regard to not only the dot.com bust but also the real estate bubble, yet has managed to eek out only an 8% unemployment rate…a state that still has money in the bank and requires by law a zero-based annual budget be passed by the general assembly…a state that has become a powerhouse in regard to attracting major industry because of its favorable tax rate and openness to businesses relocating here. This optimism horseshit is nothing more than trying to make people think Georgia is in bad shape with the leadership we have already. Is it perfect? Hardly. Am I willing vote for this moron by virtue of her last name? Nope.
As a Georgia Boy, I remember her daddy and am unsurprised she’s hoping to be handed “his” seat. Sam was generally favorable towards the military (and perceived to be much more so than he was), and I will admit he was quite knowledgeable about the military. Looks like his daughter didn’t pay attention to the lessons. Were I still registered to vote there, she would NOT be getting my vote for this and other reasons.
I helped brief Senator Nunn during a tour of Naval Air Station Brunswick, Maine. I was an analyst at the ASW Operations Center and he struck me as both pleasant and knowledgeable about the military in general, and seemed genuinely interested in what we did.
I would never have voted for the man, based upon his other views, but I can second what you are saying.

Well Sam Nunn served in the Coast Guard from 1959-1968 so he had some knowledge of military service. His daughter…not so much.
I hope the local Republitards have enough balls and spine to publicly revile and redicule this Libtard and her faux military and economic “optimism”.
But then again, being Republitards, they will more then likely once again snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Or have their own Libtard-lite candidate elected, instead of a conservative.
She may (or may not) be a great person, a great candidate, and/or a great leader. If I could vote for her, I wouldn’t. No more flipping dynasties in this country. No more Bushes, no more Kennedys, no more Clintons, or Daleys, Carnahans, Bidens, Cuomos, Reids, or Nunns.
