An Army of Asian-American Secret Service Men
Yesterday an account of Michelle Obama’s junket to China described her security detail as “An army of Asian-American Secret Service Men.”
Excuuuuse me, but isn’t this exactly the kind of ethnic profiling that Libs get their panties in a wad over? Of course, sensible folks recognize the practicality of having agents who can blend in with the locals, but there is also the deterrent effect of having some huge White and Black agents whose height affords a security advantage over those same locals.
Whatever, the selection process still smacks of race-related standards which is a big no-no supposedly with liberals like the Mooch. And sense when has practicality ever mattered when it comes to racial profiling and the left? It is the very lack of such practicality that has airport security treating grannies and infants with the same suspicion as young Muslim males and it is the same nonsensical deference to political correctness that denies law enforcement organizations to employ ethnicity in screening suspects for crime and terrorism even though minorities commit most crimes and Muslims carry out most acts of terrorism. Noooo, in those situations it is wrong, even evil, to permit ethnicity to be considered. But then, it is apparently perfectly alright to use it in selecting the security detail for the family of the world’s leading liberal.
Is this to become a new trend in security staffing for overseas jaunts by our resident royalty: all black agents for trips to Africa, all Hispanics for trips south? Well then, what about all blue-eyed, blond-haired agents for royal excursions to Nordic nations.
Yeah right, I’m being ridiculous there…

It’s because we can handle the truth. 😉
Silly Poetrooper – those kind of rules are for others. Libidiots never have to follow them when they’re in charge!
Look Asian…and the Tennessee twang of comedian Henry Cho.
“What’s that clickin noise”…love Chos comedy.
From some of the pix one can see where Aunt Esther Mooch got her scowl. No wonder Barry doesn’t have a pair.
Michelle Obama I thought…was smarter than Barack by an order of magnitude. I am wrong. She is as dumb as him and just as racist. Her, her momma, their kids and whole shootin’ match, especially, Barack. Who says racism is dead in America? It’s alive, well and thriving in our own White House.
Moochelle, like Barry, is an idiot with delusions of genius. Kinda like Janine Garafalo.
The Other Whitey…you had to say it didn’t you? Janine Garafalo! What an absolute, brainless, liberal turd she is. I would be surprised if she isn’t on the White House short lost for dinners. They love her ilk. Now I need to go get the bleach out and douse my eyes and pump it in my ears to clean my brain from the thoughts of Janine Garafalo! One word…EEEEEEEEEEUUUUUUUWWWWWW!!!!!
She also a fugly bitch with delusions of beauty. Truth is, even in her prime she was a 3.5 at best (10-scale).
The Other Whitey I applaud you for being gracious in your rating scale opinion of Garafalo. You showed true restraint. Me, I would have given her a -1 on the 10 scale. Is she ugly? Put it like this…”her face could draw a blister in the bottom of a galvanized outhouse shit pot!”
Wow, she’s up to a 3.5? I was gonna go with a 1, at best.
January 20th, 2017. That’s the day I can start breathing again, or just go Galt.
I’m with you NHSparky. I feel you brother. That’s my “drop dead” date too. Well, only if the right people drop dead. 😀
Robert Caro got it right. Power doesn’t always corrupt, but power always reveals.
What it reveals about this administration is IMO quite telling.
Not just this administration, Hondo–but the Democrats as a whole, and even the GOP to a lesser extent.
And I’m pissed off at the whole lot of them. NOBODY inside the Beltway has the interest of the American people at heart. Not a single one of them.
NHSParky as to the GOP. I only hope that right NOW they are selecting and VETTING and I do mean VETTING a strong candidate. No skeletons to be found in the closet later by the liberal media. Instead of their past performances which has been, present a field of 16 or 20 wannabees from Mayors to Senators, then let them infight for 18 months of debates while the public watches and says, “these guys are all calling each other out on their shortcomings to be President, so it must mean none of them are worth a shit”. Then when they settle on one he has been gut stabbed by his own party members for so long, everyone just points and laughs. I say NOW is the time do pick a good man and put him forward. The Democrats I hate to say, do that much better. I guarantee they already know who they are putting forward and they will be on the stump in short order. Lord please do help us in 2016!
The skeleton bar has been lowered to the minimum bar height.
The bar needs to be raised again.
So how much longer do we have before this so-called administration ceases to embarrass this country everywhere it goes?
You know what that cow did yesterday? She told a bunch of Chinese students that ‘internet freedom is everyone’s right’ (rough quote). This was said to a bunch of students who live in a country where the internet is monitored more closely than anyone ever thought of here. I wonder if she’d say that in Turkey… or Iran….
Good point EX. That’s Michelle at her dumbest again. In Iran she would tell the women, “You don’t have to put up with that stuff! Just take those head scarves off and be free. It’s your right as free women!” But then she would jet off and not stay to watch them as they get stoned to death for violating Sharia Law. “Alls I said wuz take them scarves off sister girls. Yuz got rights here! How wuz I to know they’d be a gittin’ kilt for it. Not my fault, um, um no way!”
At some point, the oink fest will end with a loud, unpleasant noise, possibly the roar of an angry herd of pigs. Something like that.
At some point, the blatant stupidity has to end. I just hope that I live to see it. I think, however, that it explains some of the dystopian lit so popular in YA books now, such as ‘Hunger Games’ and ‘Divergent’. That’s how kids see their future. I hope this changes for the better. AND SOOON.
Sparks: yep…the 2 kids are going to be a PITA to society in 10 years.
Break Break: OT: how’s the knee doing? Therapy fun?
SJ thanks for asking. The knee therapy is good but it does bring a tear to my eye sometimes, when they are bending it as hard as they can.
Yep, I am sure Obama is telling the kids, “Yoos girls know if ya’ll do good in school, someday ones of yuz could be the first black, womans Presidents of these here whole United States.”
So anything that anybody with paper-thin skin and no sense of humor might think is racist, whether it actually is or not–hell, ESPECIALLY when it’s not– is all bad, bad, BAD!!! Except when they do it, of course. Then it’s okay, especially when it clearly is more racist than Strom Thurmond, Robert Byrd, and Jesse Jackson combined.
Hey, I’m curious about something. I have it on good authority that Secret Service personnel hate Hillary’s guts due to the way she treats them (which can be charitably summed up as “like dog shit”). Like as in if somebody tried to kill her, her detail would probably help them do it. Common sense would seem to dictate that you should be nice to the people who are supposed to stop a bullet for you, but consider the fact that this is Hildebeast we’re talking about here. Conversely, I’m told that politics aside, Bush (both), Reagan, Carter, and Ford all treated their bodyguard details nicely and were/are liked by USSS agents in general.
Given what we’ve seen of the Glorious Leader and the Gold-Digging-Harpy-Bitch-in-Chief and how they treat everybody at the White House not appointed by them, I wonder just how hard they are willing to try to keep Moochelle safe.
Did I tell you that the Praetorian Guard frequently dispatched the Caesars that were dragging Rome into the dirt?
EX and The Other Whitey, you’re both right.
EX I think we could use some Praetorian Guard action these days sometimes.
The Other Whitey, thanks I spewed coffee on the keyboard.
I imagine when it comes time for the Obama’s after office Secret Service support, when the bullets start flying the Secret Service will be pointing at the correct target. One of them will pat Barack on the back as they leave someplace but it will be to put on one of those paper signs that says, “Shoot First” with a big smiley face under it! 😀 Just my thoughts.
As to Hildebeast, yea she should show a little respect and decorum for the agents assigned to give their lives for her. But she is, you know, WAY above them in status and importance. They are nothing more than armed errand boys to her.
Indeed, Ex. Commodus comes to mind.
In an attempt to become the post-racial President … He, his wife and the current administration has driven race relations BACKWARDS 50 years while also permanantly addicting certain minority groups to a life of no work with benefits.
Master Chief thank you and thank you. You hit that nail on the head and countersunk it!
Ah Crap Politics,
I am not a fan of Obama. He is the President, He was elected according to the law.
Our Politicians are what we allow them to be. If we tolerate a crook then we get a crook. If we tolerate Tyranny then we get Tyranny. We the voter have the power to implement change at the time of our choice.
Obama has the opinion the he Rules this nation. His wife even said the word. His stance has caused stalemate after stalemate. His unwillingness to work for a solution is the problem.
Mrs. Obama is no Jackie O, Or Eleanor. But I suspect that she will make her own Political career
Enigma4you well said. We get what we elect. I am somewhat fearful though as time progresses and the voting blocs in our nation shift to a far more liberal populace. No Michelle could not shine the shoes of the MANY former First Ladies. I hope she does not have political hopes after 2016. But I could see her running for Barack’s old Illinois Congressional seat.
When I think about Presidents I like to look at how well they follow the Constitution.
I think its kind of funny that some of the worst at following the Constitution are the most popular and the ones that did follow it are considered to be the worst.
Lincoln Vs. Hoover for example.
Most of this countries population believe that the people are dependent on the government. The fact is the the Government depends on the people. If you look at our history every time and with out fail the people have said No, this is not right or we want this change it has happened in pretty short order.
\Look at the Civil Rights movement. MLK was a good and honorable man but he alone had very little to do with the change, that change happened because the majority of the people were heard in one voice and that voice said no.
We see it now with States pushing back on the Government. Colorado, CA ect have told the federal Gov that you have to right to make our laws. Other states are following.
We have forgotten but are remembering again that each and every state is very much its own nation. Look at the EU. They used the US for their Model.
In so far as I can tell, this entire article is based off a single article in the Daily Mail, quoting an unnamed person who identified themselves as an employee of the hotel.
Further, while there are pictures in the Daily Mail article of Asian-American secret service members… there are also black and white people in those photos.
That may be, but Michelle Obama has a shitpot of history in terms of hypocrisy, stupidity, douchebaggery, and generally being an insufferable bitch. Otherwise, there would be minimal commentary and at least a little benefit of the doubt.
How much of that hypocrisy, stupidity and douchebaggery is based off articles like this one, though, which intentionally distort her image in order to make people dislike her more?
Show me some stories, with evidence, of her being an utterly terrible human being and chances are my opinion of her will drop. Right now, though, it’s really pretty neutral, and stuff like this article just seems purely agenda-driven.
“For the first time in my life, I’m proud of my country.”
Yeah, that one was just taken out of context.
“All this for a flag.”
So was that one as well?
“For the first time in my life, I’m proud of my country.”
I imagine that if a Republican is elected in 2016, several people here will say something similar to, “For the first time in eight years, I’m proud to be an American.” Isn’t that not pretty similar? There’s no doubt she didn’t win any favors with that statement, but it isn’t too different from countless other sentiments people express regularly. And, given the very human emotion of seeing her husband elected and the pride that must’ve brought her, well, I’m inclined to view this as an inarticulate and unfortunate phrasing, but not something wholly indicative of her character.
“All this for a flag.”
Which she didn’t say. I mean, I’ll even go so far as to use a Glenn Beck link for this:
http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2011/09/15/what-did-michelle-obama-say-to-the-president-during-the-911-ceremony/
This is the point, though – you’re posting a ‘quote’, pounced upon by people who aren’t lip-readers, with no audio, and no sense of what was actually said, and inferring from that she has absolutely no respect for the flag, this country, the troops, whatever. That’s a problem, in my opinion.
Um, LC – even Snopes (who IMO leans somewhat liberal) rates the veracity of the “flag” comment by Michelle Obama as “undetermined”.
Look at the video and decide for yourself.
LC, yesterday a reader at another site left a comment that he has friends among the White House staff who have informed him that the Obama’s are not beloved by those who must attend to their daily needs. Granted, that’s just hearsay but so were all the stories about Hillary’s mistreatment of the secret service and military until after Clinton left office and the stories, even books, came out substantiating that she was indeed, a vicious, snarling, nasty bitch.
And you can bet the farm that had Laura Bush behaved like Hillary the liberal media would have been all over it. Anyone who can’t see that a very real double standard exists in the media treatment of Democrats and Republicans simply isn’t paying attention.
I wouldn’t doubt for a second there are plenty of people who work in the White House who don’t love the Obamas. How many people absolutely love their bosses? Having a boss you like and having a boss who is an absolute monster are two different things, though.
As for a ‘double standard’ in the media, I’ll entertain the idea one exists — but I think it’s due to demographics, not malice or intent. Most ‘big media’ comes from big cities, which tend to be more liberal. So there could be an unintentional slightly-left bias. Conversely, a lot of the Republicans who receive the most criticism from these outlets are the most conservative – so the difference in views between the news and the ‘target’ are greatest.
Fortunately or not, Fox tries to counter that by being intentionally to the right. In my opinion, you add it all up and you have a few major slight-left outlets (and MSNBC, which is a bit more than ‘slight’ left), and then a moderately deep-right Fox, and maybe it all balances out enough? It seems to make everybody angry, at least, so there’s that.
At any rate, I have zero love for Hillary and think George W. is a pretty friendly and caring guy. My personal view on politicians is all over the map. I just don’t see Michelle Obama as an evil, horrible woman, and all evidence that’s been ‘presented’ is quite skewed.
That’s my two cents.
That explains all the well dressed Rednecks guarding the POTUS/FLOTUS on their last trip to Alabama.
When all of this is over, I want someone, somewhere, to add up the cost of all of these “vacations” that the Obamas have taken to all points of the globe at taxpayer expense.
Then compare said cost to Bush, Clinton, etc., adjusting for inflation, of course.
If that won’t start the LIV blood boiling, nothing will…and for the record, I’m taking a wild stab at it and going to guess that the “separate” flights, date nights, etc., end up costing the taxpayer close to $1B thus far, and $1.4-1.5B by the time all is said and done.
All that for a family of four. And these are the same assholes who claim we don’t have a spending problem.
According to a news report,
Mooooch isthe taxpayers are dropping $8350 per night for the suite at the hotel. That doesn’t factor in the cost of the rest of the rooms for support staff, the Secret Service and the rest. Add in the cost of the flight of whatever USAF aircraft she flew on, and the support flights. That’s just one “vacation”.I’d think you may be underestimating the cost to us, Sparky.
This trip is a big controversy for another reason… their over $8,000/night hotel suite and 70 person entourage on the taxpayer’s dime.
Michelle ‘Antoinette’ Obama
Marie Antoinette was well-meaning but utterly clueless. Moochelle is clueless, but she sure as shit ain’t well-meaning.

@ Hondo: Yes, ‘undetermined’. Because one can’t tell what was said. If I asked Snopes “Did Michelle Obama say, ‘Let’s punch Hondo in the nose!’ during that clip?”, chances are they’d say it was ‘undetermined’.
I linked an article where a deaf guy who works for Glenn Beck came to a different conclusion. I don’t read lips, so I don’t have a first-hand take on this, but I’m not going to let a lot of internet furor tell me what was said when it can’t be determined.
LC: and yet above, you clearly state your belief about the matter. Specifically, you use the phrase, “Which she didn’t say” – referring, of course, to the “quote” in question. If you really believed the quote to be of undetermined veracity, why say that?
Sounds to me like you’ve already made up your mind, and are no longer willing to evaluate the evidence for yourself. Why? Because you don’t like the thought you might be wrong, maybe?
I have no idea what was actually said; I wasn’t there. But I can certainly look at evidence, use my own intellect, and form my own opinion on the matter. I don’t have to depend on what others tell me is “the truth”.
Hondo, I sense that LC is rather like my younger brother who bends so far backwards trying to be non-judgmental and “fair” that his olfactory senses are so overwhelmed by the proximity of his rectum that he couldn’t smell a rat unless it was nesting in said rectum.
My seven decades of living in many places and traveling to many others, have left me with the distinct belief that the entire sum of human experience is best defined by the term fickle, rather than “fair.”
“Fair” is a a concept most strongly held by those with limited face time with real life, which explains why it is so popular with young children and liberals; pardon the redundancy.
And even in their quest to be “fair” liberals exhibit their seemingly genetic tendency towards innate hypocrisy: it’s perfectly alright for liberals to be unfair when they are dealing with those who oppose their leftist beliefs. Try getting a “fair” hearing from an auditorium full of liberals when you’re defending a fetal right to life or the 2d Amendment or denying their cockamamie theories on climate change.
They clearly do not understand their own doctrines. And they certainly do not grasp the reality that what is deemed “fair” and whatever process achieves the desired and favorable result are seldom the same. These are the folks who think it is not “fair” for America to employ her full military capabilities against those poor, disadvantaged terrorists.
A spot-on definition of fool could be, “One who believes that life should be fair.”
Your finely tuned senses are failing you in this case, Poetrooper. People who know me well would assure you that I’m quite happy to cast judgement on people, and harbor no ridiculous notions that life is somehow ‘fair’.
I have no problems whatsoever with using our full military capabilities against terrorists, for that matter. You think I frequent a military blog because I’m … what, tickled by all you bad-ass types on here? But sure, try to dismiss my earlier criticisms by trotting out the ‘liberal’ label and just waving your hands and saying I’m foolish. At the end of the day, you’ve got an article about a third-hand comment about the Secret Service being staffed with Asians for this trip, ignoring different Asian ethnicities, ignoring photographic evidence of black and white (presumably) Secret Service, and using it to project that Mrs. Obama is somehow the worst person to grace the planet. But, clearly, I’m the fool here.
Well thanks there,LC, for acknowledging my “finely tuned” senses, even in a negative manner. I think my wife of almost a half century might question your assessment.
Look, I have no doubt that you may very well be a fine person sporting the best of intentions. However your reference to the regulars here as a bunch of “bad ass types” tells me you are not one of us, not one who’s served, who’s been there, done that, and now living the remainder of your life with the consequences of those actions.
Therefore your opinions and observations are rather lacking in the real world grounding that most who comment and contribute here possess. Show us that you’ve been there, your bona fides, and we’ll add a little heft to your opinions.
Otherwise, you’re just another scrolling troll.
You’re right – mea culpa. I should’ve simply said I have no idea what she said. Sure, she COULD have said “All this for a damn flag”, but given the incredible range of things she could’ve said, I thought that one pretty unlikely, especially in light of the kid from Glenn Beck’s studio. But, again, you’re right – I don’t know.
And to me, as Carl Sagan would have said, “Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.” Since I don’t hold to the belief that Mrs. Obama is an America-hating idiot of epic proportions, the idea she would -in public!- make disparaging comments like that, knowing cameras are always on, strikes me as pretty darn close to extraordinary. And lip reading isn’t good enough for me.

The statement is racist as hell. It implies that all Asians look alike. Having spent nearly 7 years in Asia, I know for a fact that is not true.
LC. “Show me some stories, with evidence, of her being an utterly terrible human being and chances are my opinion of her will drop. Right now, though, it’s really pretty neutral, and stuff like this article just seems purely agenda-driven.”
As to the first part, no, no one has to show you evidence of her being an “utterly terrible human being.” Unless someone caught her choking kittens or beating a puppy, that standard couldn’t be met, anyway. As to the middle part, you are not neutral so you can quit that claim. You are presenting yourself as a neutral reader but that requires you to be ignorant of all that Michelle Obama has said, hasn’t said, has done, and hasn’t done since 2008 or so. So, continue with the pretense if you like but it’s incredible. As for the last part, that certain “stuff” seems agenda driven, you might be correct IF, by agenda, you mean getting those two (The King and Queen)out of the White House or, at least, making their tyrannical lives uncomfortable.
I meant neutral in that I don’t like her and don’t dislike her. That is neutral, is it not?
Whoever made that comment is wrong. Maybe they had some Chinese security forces confused with Secret Service, wouldn’t be the first time, the Service does not assign agents based on ethnicity or gender.
Let’s not forget that this is the same media who cannot tell the difference between local Crimean “militia” and Russian Special Forces.
