Jono Senk; Hairy Scary Ranger dude

Jono Senk

Meet Jono Senk, the co-founder and CEO of Hairy Scary Evolutions. his records were sent to us by Don Shipley who writes “Got a good one for ya, Jonn… I’m always looking for an excuse to attack an Army Guy. Jono (Johanthan) likes to wear wigs in that attached story but at least he ain’t cutting off his wiener yet; that’s a SEAL thing…” yeah, the article is about some schmo who ripped off a family whose daughter was missing in Curacao. Jono was hired by this guy, Frank Jones, to help recover the daughter and Jones screwed them all and took off with the money and then ended up in jail. So how did Jono get into the mercenary thing? Well, he claims that he was in the 75th Ranger Regiment. Technically, that’s true. Here’s his FOIA;

Jono Senk FOIA

He served three years and exited as a Private First Class – an E-3 in the Army. Here are his assignments and awards;

Jono Senk Assignments

It looks like after jump school, he went to the 101st Airborne Division (which wasn’t really airborne in the parachute sense at the time) for about a year and then volunteered to go to the 3/75th Rangers at Fort Benning. After eight months there, he went out to Dahlonega, Georgia, where the regiment has their Mountain Phase at Camp Frank Merrill for about 14 months. I’m guessing that he was one of the support personnel for that phase of the school. As a PFC with less than two years in service, I doubt he was an instructor.

At his Facebook page, he lists himself as having served in the 75th Ranger Regiment, which, as I said before is technically true, but I’m pretty sure that he wouldn’t be happy if these records got around – because that’s not the impression that he wants to create. So, I’m not putting him in the phony category, but I am putting him in the dumbass group.

I cannot remember his name.

You are looking beyond what is totally obvious here!

Big bad ass arms.
Black sleeveless shirt.
Black Bandanada.
Black sun glasses.
Black tiger stripe pants.
Black BDSM type wrist band.
Pack pack full of large black strap on dildos.

LEGIT!

Beretverde

Bet you if you met him at a bar…he will tell you all about Ranger School and how hard it was to earn the tab. But that’s just my guess. Back in the day those guys were called “Charlie Rangers.”

Let me see if I got this. This non-poser started out, as all recruits do, as an E-1, buck private. That’s a gimme, no effort required. Three years later he ETS’es as an E-3? Man, he had to work at that.

A Proud Infidel

Meh, 3 years and ETS’es as a PFC? During my three years od AD, SPC/E4 was almost a “gimme” after 24 months TIS unless one was a dirtbag, and he reeks like one! I say make him walk a gauntlet of real Rangers sometime during one of their annual rendezvouses at Ft. Benning!

A Proud Infidel

@4, MCPO, you forgot “Big watch, little pecker” and he probably has a load of used Ben-Wa balls in there as well!

CWORet

I feel so bad for that family. I understand them grasping at any piece of hope or information, but jeez, people when you talk money like that you have to vet the ‘pros’ at some point. I hope so bad he gets to use his hairy bas-ass training with some real hairy scary dudes where he’s currently residing. What a piece of shit.

HS Sophomore

Wasn’t this the type of scam Billy James Burley used to run with “Sparrow One Operations”? Go up to grieving people in a state of emotional weakness because a loved one is being held against his or her will in a foreign country, pretend to be a retired SEAL with a secret army of ex-pipehitters at his command, and offer to get said loved one out of bondage for an enormous fee, then take off with the money? These people are the scum of the Earth. May he walk through Broadway of Federal Prison very soon and into a cell where he will stay for a long, long time…

mr. sharkman

First some clarification. Never a Ranger. I’ve drunk with them, trained with them a little some time ago, lied to women with them, fled bars before the cops arrived with them. My understanding is a Soldier in the 75th is nothing to be ashamed of, at all. If I recall correctly, plenty of Soldiers over the years have gone into combat with a Ranger Battalion before they ever actually went to Ranger School. I pulled this from his facebook page; “So I hear tonite that there is some story circulating about me and the Amy Bradley Case-This happened a Long time ago and all the specific details are a bit fuzzy..but the truth of the matter is Yes- I was involved.Absolutely.I was both conned and duped by the same Con-Man- Frank Jones. I ran into Frank Jones at some Martial Arts Fighting Seminar I was at and he told me he was looking for some ex Mil guys to help him in this rescue of a kidnapped girl named Amy Bradley…After some short research on my own a few more meets with Frank I was hooked and conned in big time. Frank Said he was a Lt col. with SOCOM and had all the Official Pics and paperwork-Forged/Frauded of course. At the end he was far from anything he said he was… I also asked for help from some ST6 and CAG boys I knew as well and with thier help I helped form a Recon team of SEALs + SF guys to recon Curasou to look for Amy Bradley…I went down there myself with Tim Buckholz for a week to look for her with Frank Jones and Frank said to the Bradleys by Cell we had eyes on her and working up a extract plan…We NEVER had eyes on Amy and when Tim and I flew back into Miami we were escorted off the plane and questioned by the Feds for several hours -Tim was working with a Group called Spartan Group at the time-and we told them the whole deal…its a very long, complicated and convoluted story… and… Read more »

@14.

Its the other guy.

He took some NGO types to Africa as a security detachment or such and was a drunken clown.

A bartender maybe?

Really do not remember.

streetsweeper

Wow! That kind of shit right there, sells itself.

streetsweeper

Its the dude that Dan Noyes tracked down to SoCal…the ex-con that had his paw prints all over weapons.

Green Thumb

Are these dudes at he LZ waiting for extraction?

And where is the LZ? Looks like a park of some sort.

Dude kind of reminds me of that maggot Angel Gomez.

Or possibly Bennet.

rb325th

An E-3 after 3 years… he was a piss poor soldier and never promoted or busted. One or the other.
As to his version of things, he is acting like the biggest Billy bad ass… sorry Some “D-boys” and ST-6 guys he knows are going to help an E-3 who could not even get promoted to E-4 on an Op with some supposed Colonel from SOCOM??? Okay, I could see some dumbass non promotable private buying that shit, but real Operators from ST-6 and Delta? Not a fucking chance. Please, someone get me my fucking hip waders.
On top of that he admitted to actually taking part in defraudung the Girls parents!!

Currahee John

rd325th@20 – Yep, you called it. I used to have some familiarity with the staff at Camp Merrill, and for the lower ranks garrison staff it was indeed a place they shipped the malcontent and incompetent. The vast majority ETS’ed from there, usually as an E2 or E3. On the other hand, some of the instructor staff there were the finest examples they had on board.

An interesting place that few know much about, and there is a new book out about the camp: http://www.amazon.com/Mountain-Ranger-oral-history-1952-2008/dp/1439223289/ref=sr_1_9?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1385562476&sr=1-9&keywords=mountain+ranger

Green Thumb

I hated Mount Yonah.

Currahee John

GT – I was 14 when I learned to rappel off Yonah’s lower cliffs, the one you Rangers learned to climb on. (with all the spray-painted “put your hand here” marks!). As an obnoxious 20-something y/o, I spent a lot of time climbing around the middle cliffs (really just big boulders), and hang out at the late lamented Wurst House in Helen.

One particularly obnoxious thing me and my equally obnoxious friends would do is camp halfway up the trail to the uppers when Ranger students were in the area, frying up mounds of hamburgers for them to smell as they clomped by looking really unhappy. On more than one occasion a black hat begged us to stop doing that, so he wouldn’t have a riot on his hands.

For the record, I do feel bad about doing that now.

Green Thumb

Ranger School sucked. Very low quality of life.

Good lessons and good training, other than that, I would just rather forget about it.

Bobo

Not a Ranger, but from the battalion guys that I know, life in the battalion as a guy without a tab is hell, and motivation to make sure that you do everything that you can to get to Ranger school. The fact that he spent two years in the battalion, spent less than a year in what I can only assume was a line company then was packed off to do admin work at mountain phase, all without attending Ranger school is a huge indicator of crap bag. I’m going to guess that his chain of command figured that he’d never make it through Ranger school and didn’t want to embarrass the regiment by sending a no-go, so he went to Dahlonega instead. Also, the soldiers who I commanded who had been in one of the Ranger battalions would never have accepted a rifle marksman qualification. They would have their guys out doing extra range time to qualify expert. Everything with them was EIB standard, not Army standard.

O-4E

@24 GT

“Very low quality of life”

LMFAO!!!! That is the understatement of the year

Green Thumb

@26.

That’s him.

Blaise Brown

You guys talk about Ranger School like it’s the mark of a true Ranger. Truth be told the scroll is a way of life, and the scroll is the mark of a true Ranger! Any swinging dick, from any military unit, foreign or domestic can pick up that Tab. I got mine class of 12-89 , and yes it is necessary for promotion in bat. Graduate and your automatically promoted to E-4, but I served with some great Rangers who never got theirs for any number of reasons, mostly injuries. So any guy that served in battalion did more than some guy that went through a school for two months.

I do no think anyone was taking about how hard it was, at least I was not.

Just the fact it sucked.

I went through with a 37 year old man on his third attempt. Of which two were back to back. Recycle due to injury twice. He made it.

And your point is?

Blaise Brown

That is my point Green Thumb, Ranger School isn’t hard, but Ranger Battalion is. Someone up the line here was saying Senk wasn’t shit because he didn’t have a Tab, and I’m saying he was because he was inbattalion.

Green Thumb

@34.

Possibly.

But I think what they may have been saying is that he was parlaying and potentially misrepresenting his experience as being OP4 in mountain phase (he was also in the 101)into credentials for being a mercenary. Also a merc that ripped off a grieving a desperate family.

But then again, a Tab is more or less required in Batt. I knew an untabbed E-5 that went to Batt and his life was sheer hell until he picked it up. So I would establish it along the lines of more of a right of passage if you will.
