Generald Wilson on Fox

| October 29, 2013

If you missed Fox & Friends this morning, you missed this; Generald Wilson who sang God Bless America at game three of the World Series. He has a great story as well as a great voice. And you can tell that he’s actually a member of the military by his really great salute at the end;

Here’s his whole performance at the game;

Why can’t they figure out the difference between an Officer and Petty Officer ? Most Petty Officers would rather have their parentage questioned than be mistaken for an Officer.

Nice to hear one of our national songs sung well for a change.

Caught his interview this morning. He had me tearing up long before he sang. His love and respect for his mother was so heart warming, in addition to his obvious love of his country.

Thank you, Generald, for reminding me what is important in life. And thank you for your continuing service. A truly wonderful way to start the day today!

Depends on how senior and officer. Ensign through perhaps LCDR, yeah, but senior officer? Hey, whatever.

Now the fact he’s a CRFer, if you accused me of being one of those, yeah, it’s junior rodeo on then.

Excellent performance, and yes, a great salute.

Who’s hair didn’t stand up along your spine?

Wow

When I saw this during the game I was struck by his voice and confidence. Man’s a credit to all Navy men and I’m proud to see a fellow 1st Class get some recognition.

He sounded good

Well done, young man!

Stellar….a great morning cup of motivation…

I agree. He sings well, is articulate, and humble. Couldn’t ask for a better guy for a story ike this. And I agree, Fox and Friends has a consistant problem with differentiating ranks.

Susan

Fox and friends needs to consult with Jon Scott and Jenna Lee. Having a kid that graduated from the USMA or a SEAL husband who graduated from the USNA helps understand rank.

Lee

Definitely well done…

On the other hand, the dude looks a little too fat to be in uniform. Or maybe my standards are too high… I don’t know, either way, well done.
