Sunday morning feel good story
Chief Tango sends us a link to this morning’s feel good story to enjoy with your coffee. This one comes from Dallas when a 21-year-old woman was at home alone when she was in her parents’ home alone;
She confronted the two burglars as they ascended the stairs and shot at them several times.
The two ran out the front door and one collapsed from a gunshot wound. Police later recovered a gun at the scene, “indicating at least one of the suspects was armed.” Nobody has been identified.
A witness at the scene said she’s a friend of the resident, a 21-year-old who lived with her parents. The witness said the woman called her and told her she shot a home invader. Police investigators were questioning the friend in a squad car at the scene.
The woman’s father said that he taught his daughter how to shoot;
“Intruders came in and kicked our door and I was glad I taught her if the alarm went off, it was a problem,” Brown said near the crime scene. “She got one of them. I hate she didn’t get both of them.”

Another commemorative t-shirt for Hack. My wardrobe is overflowing with t-shirts of those that have had their lives turned around. Nothing left to say, except Fo’ Shizzle!
Sounds like me if it happened to one of my Daughters. Time for them to make time to go to the range. For the love of pete’s sake ,Texas is not a place to break into homes. A crook has to be really lucky to break into an occupied home where that they will not be shot. Idiots Joe
Well, when this kind of news gets on TV and those unenlightened home invaders see it, can they not put 2 and 2 together and get something besides 7?
I guess this is the process: kick the door in (announce your arrival); make unspecified threats (greet your host); demand goods you didn’t pay for (request an offering); run away when shot (depart the scene); get on TV for it (get your 15 minutes of fame).
Does that sound about right?
Ex, it’s black powder season for Deer now in Oklahoma. Think big boom then a .50 caliber exsandable bullet hitting one of them. Joe
Well hell, one out of two isn’t too bad of a deal. Better she got one them instead of them getting her.
My kind of dad!
