Thursday feel good story
Chief Tango sends us a link to a feel good story that doesn’t involve a gun, but it has the desired outcome. In Chicago, a homeowner heard some noises in his garage;
The homeowner grabbed a knife from the house and went to the garage to check. When he got there, he saw an intruder come after him with a hammer.
The fellow trying to turn his life around in Mark Hayes’ garage, said something to make Hayes think he had a gun and that he had an accomlice;
Police said the two wrestled on the ground, and Hayes stabbed the intruder.
“They came face-to-face, and that’s when he stabbed him,” said Melvin Hayes, the homeowner’s father.
The intruder fled leaving a trail of blood all the way to the curb where he got a ride which took him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

good thing this didn’t happen in London, can’t even have a knife there now let alone a handgun.
Thank God he didn’t have a gun for self defense! I mean, then he wouldn’t need to actually get real close the to guy with the hammer that wanted to hurt or kill him. That would not have solved anything….
yeah. hard to do sarcasm on this one.
okay, I’ll say what you’re thinking: Never, ever bring a hammer to a fnife fight.
Warms my heart….
Cockles, warm.
Perp, cold.
‘Nuff said.
Scumbag local news station.
Doesn’t name the scum that committed the crime, but instead informs town that valuables are inside the home and where they are located while showing it’s location.
Nothing personal but what exactly did the perp think the house pictured might have that was worth his life in the garage?
