Sunday feel good story
Chief Tango and BubbleHead Ray send us a link to a story about a young man who was turning his life around tried to rob a bunch of folks who were in line to buy the new Lebron James sneakers. I guess he figured that all of the customers had $180 for the footwear, but h never figured that one of them would have their own gun;
According to witnesses, an armed man tried to rob a group of customers in line about 5:30 a.m. But one of the customers who was armed with his on own handgun shot and killed the suspect.
The suspect ran just a few yards away before he collapsed and died, police said. Witnesses told Channel 2 Action News the suspect had been pick-pocketing people all week long.
“(The suspect) wanted to pick-pocket everybody. But people out here, they weren’t going for none of that,” said customer Taylor White.

The title of this news piece is a little misleading. The dead goblin in this story was not a pickpocket. Picking Pockets is street vernacular for robbery. Yoo would be in big trouble if you dusted a pickpocket. The thug in question was probably armed and showed his gun to make sure none of his intended victims beat his ass. As least one of his marks was not impressed and fired him up. Correct outcome of his misadventure in my opinion.
A savings to the taxpayer from having to NOT support this douche either in jail or on welfare. Now let’s hope that “he” was Darwinized before he had any offspring to pass his Stooopid Genes on to.

Too bad the crowd didn’t pursue the guy who tried to rob them and take all his stuff before the cops showed up.
I hope they saved the shooter’s place in line or even let him go to the front. Only common courtesy I say.
