Jets and Patriots may remain in Jordan

| June 4, 2013

No, not the the football teams, the F16s and the missile batteries that went to Jordan as part of an annual exercise, Eager Lion 2013, may remain there as the civil war in Syria spills over across it’s neighbors’ frontiers, according to Secretary of State John Kerry (that still sounds weird and scary). From Bloomburg;

The aircraft and missiles were being sent to Jordan as part of an annual war games deployment with the country’s armed forces, State Department spokeswoman Jennifer Psaki said in Washington Monday. Jordan has not decided whether the U.S. military equipment should remain in the kingdom after this month’s drill, Media Affairs Minister Mohammad Momani said in a telephone interview Tuesday.

“Given our strong alliance with Jordan and in light of circumstances in the region and escalating violence along Jordan’s borders, if requested” some missiles and planes “may remain,” Psaki said.

While Kerry and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov are seeking to organize a peace conference in Geneva to end the two- year civil war, the U.S. politician Monday described this as “a very difficult process” that aimed to stop the country sliding “into a complete and total implosion where it has broken up into enclaves, and the institutions of the state have been destroyed.”

Didn’t I mention the other day that Syria is a tarbaby and all the nations of the world are taking a swing at it.

Refereeing a scrap between different factions in the Islamic world is like trying to pick up a turd by the clean end.

That’s because of all the oil under northern Israel that makes Syria very, very important.

The institutions of state? In the ME? Yeah, they go by another name: weapons. He who has the biggerest and the mostest runs the other institutions. As for Kerry, was he doing the jungle stroll again?

Green Thumb

They should go ahead and send the other Jets and Pats there as well.

So how soon till the Code Pinkos and the violence filled anti-war leftists start their protests in front of the Executive Mansion and filling up the city centers of NYC and San Fran? I really missed those protests from our Libya intervention… oh wait their kids are in charge and they could give a non-royal flying frack about what happens to some former Johnny QB flying an F16 near the border or a Radar O’Reilly type at some ADA battery who dies trying to stop some truck bomb with an sign and a condition four weapon (don’t want to seem aggressive to the locals) if they die and the need to respond comes up.

The only reason the anti-war protests are “big” in downtown SF is, the radical hippies no longer have a reason to protest our “oppressive military” at Lombard Gate on what used to be The Presidio of San Fran. However, several billionaire hippies did take over a good portion of it for their movie studio’s.

As for it being scary its Kerry, you forgot to add the “s” to Kerry. Oh wait, what on earth am I thinking? Russia made his royal, buttkissing self wait three hours before they met with him. *cackle*

Will the F-16 squadron be able to even fly? Or, will they be included in the sequester stand down?

No surprise and watch for things to heat up even more. France confirmed publicly today that the Assad regime did in fact use Sarin Gas at least one time in attacks on its population. The French took the lead in pushing for intervention in Libya and appear to be doing the same regarding Syria. They found baraks balls..
