Gerald Rud; Special Forces phony deploys from prison
Scotty sends us a link to his latest poser, Gerald Rud, who claims to have deployed 13 times with 5th Special Forces Group. He must be counting the times that he’s been a guest of various states in their incarceration processes. Here’s the letter that he uses as a reference;
Pretty impressive letter, huh? Well, except that Scotty’s private investigator says that there is no such person in the VA system. And, it’s probably not possible to deploy thirteen times in less than two-and-a-half years, especially when his “special forces” service was all in the Air Force;
Apparently, his latest deployment is to Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s Maricopa County Jail. Baloney sandwiches sounds good right about now doesn’t it? Go read the rest at Scotty’s place.

Discharged as an E1 after nearly 1 yr 11 mo service? Must have been one helluva trooper!
He’ll look good in pink.
Rates very very low on the scale of original ideas. But then, you look at his mugshot and that explains it.
Wow…that letter, fail on so many levels.
Wouldn’t the forgery of such a document from a government agency be considered a crime?
How do I get me one these ‘accommodations’the phonies always have.
“Rud” in the ass.
Turd.

Sorry about the link. I typed up a bunch of posts and then drove off the Winchester to IHOP and forgot my phone.
With all these posers and wannabe’s, you’d have a division. Why don’t we just gather them up and send them to Afghanistan and finish things up, and let everyone else come home?
You have to be really special to have an 18 year rapport with someone in the VA, especially since you generally don’t deal with them unless you are a discharged disabled veteran. Someone needs to print 500 copies of that letter, bind it into a book and beat him over the head with it.
As Green Thumb says:
Turd.
Has anyone called that phone number on the forged letter? Light it up!!!
The Chief: haven’t called it, but reverse lookup services say it’s a cell number from the Phoenix, AZ, area.
The AZ VA Regional Office (VARO) is in Phoenix. But I’m pretty sure folks working at the VARO in Phoenix have a landline on their desk for official business vice a cell phone.
What a shitty cut and paste job on that “Letter”. VA Form 10-2850c is an application for associated health occupations….
What a moron.
