Breanna Manning named SanFran’s Pride Princess

| April 26, 2013

Update; Ooops. I guess someone lost their job over this, according to the Huffington Post;

“That was an error, and that person has been disciplined. He does not now, nor did he at that time, speak for SF Pride,” Williams said.

A committee of former San Francisco Pride grand marshals did select the 25-year-old Manning, who is openly gay, for the honor, but the Pride Board decided his nomination would be a mistake, Williams said.

Anonymous in JAX sends us a link to the announcement that the Grand Marshall of San Francisco’s 2014 Gay Pride event will be Breanna Manning giving us an opportunity to use our exclusive file photo of the whiny little turd. Of course, due to his incarceration he won’t be able to attend, so the community is exhuming the rotted corpse of Daniel Ellsburg to stand in his/her place.

In past years, Manning pride contingents have marched in New York City, Chicago, Washington D.C., Boston, San Diego, and Los Angeles. Even wider national support is expected this year, in anticipation of his summer court martial.

Yeah, you idiots, go ahead and cleave to his treachery. I guess you want to own the deaths that have resulted from his leaks of classified information, despite his pledge to his country and his service to refrain from that traitorous behavior. It just proves how disconnected Americans are from the people who protect them. And how little these cretins care about the people who put their lives on the line for them.

Comments on the announcement are priceless … the only “supporter”? never served … even a former gran marshall for the parade is ashamed …

MAJMike

Nice to see that San Francisco is finally supporting a military veteran.

LebbenB

“It just proves how disconnected Americans are from the people who protect them.”

It’s not a disconnect so much as an ever-widening gulf.

malclave

So what point are they trying to make? That gays cannot be trusted in the military?

FatCircles0311

Always nice to see people with their priorities in check. In this case sexual perversion trumps national security.

Classy.

Jim

BWAHAHAHAHAHA – love the picture.

Menoth

@4 – The point is that this dirty little fuck knuckle makes all gays in the military look like assholes, and the gay population of San Francisco is openly embracing him.

DaveO

Manning will be kept alive in order to assist in the prosecution of other members of WikiLeaks and the rest of Manning’s group.

Are the groups trying to incite the military judge and jury into executing Manning immediately so the guilty remain safe?

How Special! We have a Fairy Queen in our midst! All bow down to the SanFran Gay Pride Parade Fairy Queen!
Ummmm . . . . on second thought, don’t bow.

Green Thumb

A gay pride poser….

The new trend?

Possiblity up here in the Great NW.

Roger in Republic

I have an unopened bottle of Makers Mark Gold Label that has been gathering dust for almost 20 years. The day they hang that traitorous little faggot I will open it and share it with as many real soldiers as it will serve. Too bad the Army did away with firing squads. I would volunteer for that detail in a NY min.

Athena

Hang in there Jonn, there are actually very few people who are that alienated from our military.

James

I agree with your opinion of him, but I have a lot of sympathy for his family. For them this must be terrible. Him, well he’ll get what he deserves.

Getting very tired of any and every group of folks who decide guilt/innocence, individual importance, or anything else based upon criteria like race, gender, orientation, church affiliation, club membership, ethnicity, blah, blah, blah. Sure, the ones which irk me most are those which we do not choose, but the rest are almost as bad.

This clown is a traitor. His gender confusion has nothing to do with it except in his own mind. He committed treason against every US citizen. End of story. He would be just as guilty were he a black United Methodist female, a Hispanic Catholic male, a crazy white male veteran (oh, wait, that IS what he is!), or any other combination of possibilities.

Just Plain Jason

Having family members who are from the gay community this is sad. Of course they aren’t really San Francisco types. They can’t honor a gay person who has actually done something good. For fucks sake…

LostOnThemInterwebs

I believe they are misguided, they believe getting exposure is important for their agenda, and I guess even bad publicity is STILL publicity, but for me I don’t understand, if you always complain you are being singled out, why the hell you single out yourself? “hey this is our gay celebrity” well what should I applaud more or something? do you think you are special? when I point out that is racism as they think they are better than me or making someone appear more successful, intelligent or somehow special because of his sexual preference .. I usually endup not having much more conversation, but then again when my conversations hit that highway I prefer not to even have them.

I couldn’t care if anyone I work with or in my team is gay, straight, bysexual, asexual or likes to go into bondage/S&M orgies, as long as the job is done everything is cool.

They don’t realize that to make this idiot famous is not only making a diservice but is actually encouraging this type of behavior as nowadays everyone wants to be “famous”, God this is like the military version of Justin Bieber with all this “grand phoobah”

CI Roller Dude

Until you’ve been there and really see how San Francisco is, you can’t possibly understand how fucked up it is. There’s only 3 things worth saving in the next big earth quake.
1.) The SF Giants
2.) Sour dough bread
3.) The Golden Gate Bridge.

NHSparky

I can live without all three.

Lostboys

Not so fast, Briana. http://lgbtweekly.com/2013/04/26/sf-pridebradley-manning-will-not-be-a-grand-marshal/
“His nomination was a mistake and should never have been allowed to happen. A staff person at SF Pride, acting under his own initiative, prematurely contacted Bradley Manning based on internal conversations within the SF Pride organization. That was an error and that person has been disciplined. He does not now, nor did he at that time, speak for SF Pride.”

Check out these fools.

All the way.

Not.

HANG BRADLEY!

I did not serve, but I have the highest respect for those who did. Except for the traitorous ones. The left’s love for this narcissistic little pustule makes me want to puke.

Hondo

Lostboys: guess this mean we’re gonna see Manning cry again when he finds out the nomination was a NO-GO . . . .

Ex-PH2

Someone please put this little puke out of my misery.

ANCCPT

Ok. Out of all the members of the Armed Forces that are gay that have served with distinction and honor that can now be publicly recognized, they choose THIS guy???
Way to fail, Pride Organizers.
And if you read the comments of the linked article, apparently there are a lot of people upset about this choice too. They’re gay, yes. They are also Americans, and they are not happy at all about this.

Hondo

ANCCPT: ain’t happening. See the link posted by Lostboys in comment 19.

ANCCPT

Hondo: I saw that. ‘Internal mistake’ my ass. Their constituency say up and went ‘WTF?? We’re gay, but were still Americans, and this shit ain’t gonna fly.’.
Good to see it. I love San Francisco, for all it’s weirdness, it really is a cool city, and maybe it’s the idealist in me but there’s still a majority of people there who care about these United States, and if a call to arms ever happened again, San Francisco would do what it’s always done, and step up with the sailors, commerce and shipyards that they are known for.
I know. I’m an idealist. I think that about my new city of Philadelphia too.

Hondo

ANCCPT: I tend to think it was a mistake – that someone “jumped the gun” before a final decision had been made, and that they then saw the backlash and backed away quickly. But they do seem to have been considering making Manning their Grand “Marshall”. How seriously? Unknown.

In any case, good for them for doing the right thing – for whatever reason.

And I agree: if you see a net positive in either Philly or SF, IMO you gotta be an idealistic optimist. (smile)

The feedback on the original article announcing the Parade Princess and those on the website announcing the ‘correction’ are informative. An avalanche of WTFs, particularly from gay servicemebers on the former and about a hundred posts by obviously the same person calling the group cowards on the latter.
Also,@26, I do love the Bay Area myself. I was sitting in a China Town noodle shop one night when the bicycle group Critical Mass road through clogging the streets and demanding a revolution. The old, Asian man next to me grunted in his soup and muttered, “They will be the first to die when the revolution comes.”

LebbenB

Bradley’s dreams of leading the gay pride parade crushed before they can begin? That makes me happy.

Now the little turd burglar really has something to cry about. I quote Bat Guano (COL, USA, RET) “Prevert.”

A_Proud_Infidel

Yeah, there’s nothing wrong with that traitor facing a firing squad, but I think he’d look best with a noose around his neck!

[…] Ain’t Hell has a bunch of great posts up today but I like this one by Jonn called “Breanna Manning named SanFran’s Pride […]

Combat Historian

Awww Nuts! I was hoping that the san francisco queerpriders would stick to their decision…now I have to put away the popcorn 🙁

pete

@33,,put that popcorn on a string,,the gaymafia will use it on themselves accordingly!
