BOLO for Boston
According to the New York Post, these are the two guys that the FBI is looking for in regards to the Boston bombing.
In the photos being distributed by law-enforcement officials among themselves, one of the men is carrying a blue duffel bag. The other is wearing a black backpack in the first photo, taken at 10:53 a.m., but it is not visible in the second, taken at 12:30 p.m.
“The attached photos are being circulated in an attempt to identify the individuals highlighted therein,” said an e-mail obtained by The Post. “Feel free to pass this around to any of your fellow agents elsewhere.”
The article also says the Feds have identified two others “but do not have enough evidence to make an arrest for Monday’s attack”. So, I keep flashing on Richard Jewel and the shoddy way he was treated Centennial Olympic Park bombing at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. So I wouldn’t jump to any conclusions quite yet.

The MSM has gotten so much wrong at this point I’m not going to opine on shit until the perps are dragged into court.
That being said, if these two are in fact the ones they’re looking for and/or the guilty ones, well, better luck next time, libtards.
#1 is sarcasm in regards to what has been said or suggested by several progressive media types and Obama senior advisor Axelgrease about possible groups or individuals within minutes/hours after the attack.
My gut feeling is that IF these are the two, it doesn’t matter, because they are probably out of the country, already.
So, they are looking for two guys with red circles around their heads? My guess is that they’ve already ditched the circles.
These are not who they are looking for. The photos are not the suspects. One is a Moroccan runner who actually sent pics to the FBI.
I’ve seen those guys pointed out in pictures before, but can’t for the life of me figure out why. They look generally like runners from here.
Even weirder, I’ve also seen a pair of guys that look like either private security or unmarked police called out. And half the time that pair is identified as “ooh iz military” with their matching ill-fitting cargo pants and sideburns…
Usually they’re called out with:
“they’re not even watching the race!”
except to me it seems like they are watching the crowd, which is not entirely unexpected. Oh well, the link I saw them at was in-depth analysis by the pukes at 4chan, so I’m expecting another version of the pics where everybody is topless any minute now. xRayz PLZ

There may have been a lot of people who are runners in attendance at the Boston Marathon, but who did not qualify to enter. You do have to qualify to run in that race and in several other world-class races like it.
People who didn’t qualify, or could not get an entry in by the deadline, may have gone to the race as spectators, and that can apply to these two.
Therefore, I will wait until the FBI says it actually has a suspect or suspects in custody.
Saw on a local TV channels facebook page where someone stated the man in the blue had been online defending himself. I would hope that people wait, let justice work its slow crawl.
I remember Richard Jewel too, and that poor bastard had his life destroyed over the allegations.
All that said, I want the bastards who did this caught and fried…. legally of course.
At some popint, if that point has not already been reached, the FBI will feed bad info through the leadks in the Boston PD. “Hey! Look over here!” Meanwhile, we will learn who the’re looking for only after they get nailed or the case goes cold.
@7 the individuals in the matching clothing are Police. Not entirely certain of what agency, but they are cops. Thre was another photo of them running towards the explosions and a badge was visible.

Reddit (my link) identified the two guys and the dudes went to the courthouse scared to death. Blame Reddit, 4chan, and others for their internet detective skills (or lack thereof)
This is an example of a very simple truth: no matter how many episodes of CSI and NCIS you’ve watched, you are NOT a criminal investigator. Leave the sleuthing to the folks who actually do that for a living.
We’ll be lucky if the witch-hunt doesn’t get some poor schmuck flat-out murdered in the street.

The elite criminal profiling skills of the internet are pretty scary. Since the internet has been all over this, I take it that there’s not one single public picture of one person carrying two backpacks.
Most people using those sites probably aren’t old enough to remember Richard Jewell and the hell he went through.
Some of That groups remarks are based on pictures of people in the crowd not watching the race. Isn’t that normal behavior for undercover police. Just watch the secret service around the prez
If I may summerize it all: There was a bombing. Some folks died, some folks were injured, and a bunch of folks were inconvenienced. One or more criminals or terrorists or something yet to be determined are responsible. They are of some age, maybe male, and most likely were in the area of the blast some time prior to the blast. Or blasts. They are not there now. And a bazillion or so law enforcment officers are working any and all leads.
It has been a circus up here with the local and national media and all have passed out bad information in a rush to be “first” to break the story…. the cops have given out a lot of conflicting info as well though.

This is reminding me more and more of Newtown. Remember how virtually everything the press reported within the first 24 hours turned out to be wrong? (The shooter’s name was James Lanza… a second shooter was in custody… the shooter killed both of his parents… the shooter’s mom was a teacher at the school… the AR-15 was left in the trunk of the car… etc., etc.)
I’m losing faith more and more in the media’s ability to competently cover a breaking story. And I never had much faith in that to begin with.
This is all about the ‘career-making’ angle, the ‘I got the breaking news’ thing, something that has the reporter in the field getting a shot at being the one who ‘broke the story’.
Speculation will go on until whoever did this is actually in custody and then the only ‘breaking news’ angle will come from a press conference held by the FBI.
So I suggest we all stay out of it and let the FBI do their jobs (which they do in spite of Eric Holder’s malfeasance in his) and hope that, before long, we get new that the criminal/s has/have been caught.

Apparently, it was just a 17 year old kid and his running coach. The kid went to the police to clear stuff up when he saw his photo being circulated. I doubt this was them.
27, Bullshit, I’m not buying that. It’s a likely story but those guys are Al-Qaeda through and through. The one with the white hat took his bag off at some point before the blast. It was a black bag and it was bulging and sagging like a backpack would carrying a pressure cooker. That 17 year old was there to cover for the other guy while he casually placed that bag on the ground and looked for a quick exit. Look at the photos of them if you don’t believe me. The guy in the white hat seems far more concerned with something other than the race. He looks nervous too. I bet if you look at photos from the other bomb site there’s two arab guys with bags doing the exact same thing. Broken AQ, my foot.
Meanwhile, can anyone explain exactly what it is that any of these clowns get by reporting whatever tidbit “first?” They make the news by turning it into a circus.
“First” is such a relative thing when everyone and their cousin will know exactly the same thing within minutes. It not as if any of them are producing an investigative report on something which no one else is pursuing.

Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Boston Field Office Richard DesLauriers, United States Attorney Carmen Ortiz, and FBI JTTF law enforcement partners will hold a press briefing today, April 18, regarding the Boston Marathon investigation, at 5:00 p.m. at The Sheraton Hotel, 39 Dalton Street, Third Floor, Commonwealth Ballroom, Boston.
Valid media credentials are required for admittance.
So, here’s the latest supposedly released by the FBI.

I’ve got news for you, Paratus. The FBI is looking for two white guys, not two Arabic-looking guys. And my backpack looks exactly like every other black backpack you can get at a sporting goods store, and it sags when it’s full, justlike those packs, so does that make me one of the bombers? Oh, yeah, and I have a black baseball cap with white lettering on it. Also, I have a pair of khaki slacks that look a lot like what one of the FBI-targeted guys is wearing.

@15 – Agreed. All kinds of photos are going viral, put out by people who haven’t a clue. When the FBI asked for help, they asked people who where there to send them any photos or videos unedited, NOT to spread them around the Interwebs.
I watched the FBI press conference and they released photos of two men, NEITHER of whom were in any of the other photos I saw going around.

They said that suspect #2, in the white hat, was seen on a surveillance video placing his backpack where the second bomb went off, then walking away.
People should leave the investigative work to the pros.
Oh yeah, @28, the 17-year-old runner and his coach were INNOCENT bystanders, there for the race. They came forward and the FBI cleared them.
And the Saudi student in the hospital was never a suspect and he is NOT being deported. He is a student and here legally.
