Jane Fonda’s “Unforgivable Mistake”

| April 4, 2013

Someone dropped off a link to our Facebook page to an idiot on another idiot’s TV show. Apparently, Jane Fonda thinks that she can still make up for what she did in Vietnam in 1972 when she supplied the North Vietnamese with some valuable propaganda footage of her visit there. Now, her story is that she was tired and didn’t realize what she was doing when she sat on the anti-aircraft gun and posed smiling and laughing with the NVA soldiers. She hints that she may have been “set up” – whatever that means. Then when she was walking away from the publicity photos she gasped “What did I do?” Yeah, I believe that story just like all of the other crap she’s said in the past.

She calls it an “unforgivable mistake” and, ya know what? I don’t know anyone who has forgiven her, so she gets her wish. Obviously, she’s trying to be forgiven for those things she did so long ago, but if it’s “unforgivable”, I guess we can’t.

In the 4 minute video linked above, she claims that she met some Vietnam veterans in 1988 and they talked about their feelings and she came away with a whole new perspective. I don’t know if they joined hands and sang Kum-Bay-Yah or not, but it sounds from the interview they almost reached that point. From News Max;

“What I learned,” she said, “we have to listen to each other, even when we don’t agree, even when we think we hate each other. We have to listen to each other’s narratives, not interrupt defensively or with hostility, but really try to open our hearts and listen with empathy.”

Yeah, well, it’s just too damn bad that she didn’t learn that 40 years ago. I don’t believe her lyin’ talkin’ ass anyway. In 2009, we caught her raising money for IVAW. We caught her hosting “upside down ribbons” Marine Captain Marlissa Grogan while Grogan perpetuated the myth that the troops are a bunch of criminals who have no choice but go to war.

Yeah, that was all four years ago, but does anyone really believe that Hanoi Jane has changed since then? After all of these decades? The lesson here, kids, is that if you don’t want something to follow you around for the rest of your life, think before you act. It’s only fun today, if it’ll still be fun for you tomorrow.

The 4-minute video is at the first link above, but I won’t think any less of you if you don’t watch it. I only did it because about 1% of you click the ads.

I’ll save something of my own for the party. About a gallon.

Eric

wasn’t she also quoted while sitting in that chair as something to the effect of, “I wish I had an American plane in my sights”?

Ex-PH2

Eric, I believe you’re correct. There was another picture of her from a lower angle, where she was also quoted saying something about GIs deserving to die, or something like that.

This was because her so-called career was fading away to nothing and she could barely get work based on being Henry Fonda’s daughter. Anything to get attention, you see.

In her own words with the enemy – TREASON!

Then look at this:

Look at the battered bodies, salute with left hand, the gaze, the pride, the limping while standing as straight as possible and the absolute courage …

Feel free to weep with sorrow and pride.

I might ALMOST believe her, if NOT for all the other treasonous crap I’d heard she pulled while over there.

While taking a tour of a POW camp, she went to visit all the POWs. When she shook their hands, all the POWs slipped her a piece of paper with their names and other pertinent information. Now, if she had taken that information home, and given it to the military higher-ups, she just MAY have had some forgiveness by now. But nooooooo, she just HAD to give all those slips of paper to the VietCong camp officer, and it earned all those POWs extra punishment and beatings.
THAT, is the unforgivable.

BURN IN HELL BITCH. TOO SOON ISN’T SOON ENOUGH.

@50, NH Sparky, I wouldn’t mind paying my respects on her grave in liquid form, either, despite the fact that I was barely a “Yard Ape” by the time that war was declared over. Just one thought gives me reservations about doing so. As I see it, ALL of our Vietnam Vets get first dibs, and rightfully so. It’s also that I’m a Vet myself, and I HATE waiting in long lines!!

Tman

B Woodman, that is actually an urban legend with no basis in fact:

Forgive Jane Fonda….for what? For still being a communist sympathizer? Never old woman, move along. *SPIT*

Twist

I was just a twinkle in my Dad’s eye when she pulled this crap. The disgust for this “person” has bridged the generation gap.

Bubblehead Ray

I would have joined this conversation earlier, but I was in the head taking a Fonda, and I had in out of Kerry paper.

Run out. Damn iPhone.

Fuck Jane Fonda…forever. May she burn in hell. There were just a few combat Americans in incountry during her visit there in 1972. She did much more than sit on that AAA gun. By that time the war had turned to more of a conventional war when NV sent most every regular division it had into SVN in an all out armor spearhed invasion. She actually traveled to the NVA front and watched their actions through field glasses. Some say within SVN itself. I lost several friends during that time, some KIA and some captured alive. One who was captured was on both the NVA and U.S. list to be repatriated in Operation Homecoming. Kenneth Yonan never came home until his questionable remains were returned in 1988. So Jane, keep your traitorous ass away from me forever. As far as I’m concerned, you can have your right to your 1st Amendment from a prison cell. You fucking CUNT!

beretverde

@57…urban legend with the paper passed to her. As for her apology as a mistake…ok. But what about calling the POWs liars and hypocrites and history will judge them harshly when she was told of them being tortured? No word on that…ever!

1stCavRVN11B

Hey Jane, remember your buddy feeding you information on our actions while standing off two NVA divisions? Well, here’s what happened to her:

Maybe you should have been with her, bitch.

If you guys remember the now classic movie “Alien”, Sigourney Weaver was referred to as a Jane Fonda-look alike. I almost didn’t go to that movie because of that, but when I did, I didn’t regret it. And I found that Ms. Weaver only very vaguely resembled Fonda. She’s the one who get infested by Zoool in “Ghostbusters” and barks at Bill Murray.

And guess whose career has prospered?

Guess whose career has not prospered?

@ #66: Right there with you, my friend. “Dispicable excuse for a human being” is about as nice as I can be about her.

Of course, there are still plenty more with views just as outrageous as hers. Spoiled, pampered self-absorbed brats all.

2/17 Air Cav

To me, there is no need for mention of anything that is doubtful regarding the despicable wench. It’s like arguing whether a serial killer was also a thief or not. Her known actions are sufficient to condemn her. The pic of the live rounds at her feet as she sat on the enemy’s gun is enough. A mistake, as she calls it, is failing to put the cap on your tank after you fill up at a gas station. What she did was no mistake.

Hey you guys, lets not stop here, theres much more thats to be known about this Bitch Lady. Their talking about her making a film, playing the part of Nancy Reagen, and I would give anything to see this movie outlawed, she’s got no right to have her face shown to the public, unless its in some whore house, then theres a good chance you’d catch a good dose of crabs. All I’am trying to say fellows is, don’t let this Jane Fonda story fade into the pass, what she did over in Nam is something that we all should never forget, so PLEASE, keep this blog going till we run out of ink. RIGHT ON.

1AirCav69

When I first heard of this bitches “apology” blog I went right to it and read that crap. What I found was mostly non-veterans kissing her ass. Well I wrote to her exactly what I thought and told her it won’t be rain she hears from her grave and I’m going to drink extra beer and coffee to do it right. I notice that my comments to her have been deleated. She certainly doesn’t want too many dissenters on her page. I still maintain I will not only piss on her grave, but I have surrogates that will do it for me if I’m dead before her. If it’s the last thing I do. Our current local MOPH Commander was a POW. (a real one) If you could just see the reaction when her name is just mentioned in passing or a joke, you’d see what real hate is. He does deny the urban myth that she was given notes and handed them over, but everything else is true. Lord let me live just one day longer than this whore. Turner used to beat the shit outta her…he must’ve been a punk because she still breaths.

A Proud Infidel

Another cool slogan I’ve seen is “FEED JANE FONDA TO THE WHALES”, but that could easily be interpreted as animal cruelty, whales can get food poisoning too, can’t they?

michelle playter

Michelle, Your statement to “just get over it” is obnoxious. To you and all of your supports you all can rot in hell (right next to your idol, Hanoi Jane). I would ask you and your sniveling ass whole supporters to think about how many of our mothers, fathers, sisters, and brothers came home in a body bag. How many of our troops came back injured both physically as well as mentally. Then ask yourself how many Hanoi Jane was responsible for. We made unthinkable scarifies for your right to say what you did, but damn you for doing so.

Carl

She’s Still a POS looking for press. She’ll do anything for it and why such a traitor is allowed to live in this country is beyond me. Going to be a long line of vets contributing liquid to her grave when she’s gone!

david

Fuck you jane fonda… I will always remember Billy D Hill POW/MIA Jan 21 1968, oh yea FUCK YOU jane fonda

Ex-PH2

Her most recent movie (The Butler) wasn’t HER movie, it was Oprah’s. Her movies don’t do well these days.

She doesn’t have the acting chops that Meryl Streep and Scarlett Johansson and Charlize Theron and (dare I say it?) even Julia Roberts have in their resumes. She’s still got this nitwat idea that because she’s Henry Fonda’s daughter, she’s too cool, and most people are saying ‘who’? Even Peter Fonda, who was a somewhat better actor, has faded from that scene. She’s a twink.

So any time someone resurrects the ghost of her past encounters with Victor Charles, it’s a good thing.

A son of a Nam Vet
Drafted into Nam in 67 he stood tall and did his duty. None of who went wanted to go but his Country called on him so he fought for his brothers. I can only imagine the horror of war and the terror of the days that never come. I cannot fathom the families endless thoughts of worry. I will never understand the reasons a father would deny a sons request for war stories. As a son I am thankful and proud to call my dad a Vet. As a son I will never support a traitorous focking whoreing two faced betch. As a son I will go out of my way to voice my options as such. As a son I will one day piss on a grave of jane. Heart felt thanks to all Vets and their families.
A Son Never Forgets……

I’ve read all these comments and I agree with most of you. Jane Fonda was and is a traitor of this United States of America. Her actions were despicable and our urinal stickers are a way to take out our anger and frustrations for what she did.
However, my God and savior demands that I forgive all who have hurt me in any way in order to enter into Heaven. It took me over thirty years to forgive my Father for what he did to me as a child. As far as Hanoi Jane, it took me 45 years to forgive her. This my friends does not mean I have to forget. I’ll never forget what she did. just like I’ll never forget what my Father did to me.
Just for you that may be curious! Yes, I served 12 and 1/2 years in the Navy and did 3 tours of duty in Vietnam.
Never forget the wrongs that happened in your life but please find it in your hearts to forgive. God demands it.
