Eric Harroun killed in Syria?
The other day we talked about Eric Harroun who claimed to be a US Army veteran fighting with the Syrian rebels in one of their more radical groups. Today, the Washington Times reports that he may have been killed in action with new-found jihadist friends;
A graphic video posted online by Syria Tube, a pro-government site, shows the death of someone who resembles Eric Harroun, 30, a Muslim convert who boasted of his Jihadi exploits on his Facebook page, AOL Defense reported Thursday.
“Terrorists, including American Extremist ‘Eric Harroun,’ Have Been Terminated,” reads the headline of the video, according to AOL.
Neither Mr. Harroun’s family, nor the Pentagon, could confirm whether he was dead or alive, AOL Defense reported.
We all know how notoriously inaccurate these types of reports are, but given the subject, I didn’t feel like I should pass by it without mentioning it. According to his father, Eric Harroun wasn’t wired too tight and since he never deployed, it can’t be blamed on his service, I suppose. His family denied that he was fighting with al Qaeda-linked rebels. But who can tell over there in that mess?

I saw the video last night The video shows Harroun, but he looks pretty alive to me, assisting with what looks like the aftermath of an attack. And he recently updated his Facebook page.
Seems like poor reporting, just taking the headline of the video and regurgitating it. I’m wondering if Harroun is still pulling VA benefits.
Reading the arabic names of all the fighters shown in that video and it didn’t list anybody even close to Eric or any mention of the American. It’s likely just some opportunist trying to get some likes.
No sale here. At best, it’s a ploy. At worst, speculative reporting.

I seriously doubt it was him, as they posted one 2 weeks ago with some Haji turd kicking the bucket in a hospital and saying it was him.
Turns out it was some Chechen dirtball.

the video from 2 years ago shows Harrouns chechen friend dying. I think you just got it wrong, I never heard anyone claim it was Harroun himself.

@Ramzan yeah the guy driving in the video you posted is the one who vapor locks in the hospital.
It’s definitely him.
Looks like he was suffering from a broken neck, or internal injuries of somekind.
In that video , the Syrian Psy guys claim it’s Harroun, when it’s clearly the other guy.
Even in the new video it does’nt look nothing like Harroun.
The one they indentify as Harroun does’nt have much trauma so it’s not hard to tell.
Me thinks it’s only a matter of time before Harroun makes the trip to the 72 virgins Suite, especially since Hezbollah has fifty thousand trained fighters who will be entering Syria in the next couple weeks.
I’m willing to wager thye will find him , minus his body real soon or vice versa.
