NRA: Stand and Fight; High Capacity Magazines

| February 14, 2013

The latest in the NRA’s series of videos to push back against the idiot liberal attempt to grab our stuff is about high capacity magazines;

Time is getting tight. ROS sends us a link to the legislation that was introduced in Missouri which doesn’t have a “grandfather” clause for scary-looking weapons which will turn Missourians into felons 90 days after the legislation is approved.

Then there’s the Washington State bill (a .pdf of the text) which does the same thing – like New York, it only takes one feature that scares a hippie to make a weapon illegal.

This evening at 5:15pm (EST), Wayne LaPierre will have a response to the State of the Union Address and the NRA has sent us a link to the player;

If you miss the response, this link will become a loop, so bookmark this post so you can watch it.

guess I’m going to have to layout all my stuff to make sure I find all those assault clips for my scary grenade launcher…

I ought to find a piece or three of fiberglass tube and have them ready for any “buy backs” they might have, that’ll buy me some beer!

The only thing I would add is that we’re talking about standard capacity magazines. Let’s not succumb to the rhetorical inventions and narrative of the gun grabbing crowd.

I like the ad. Here’s how you make a low-capacity magazine into a high-capacity magazine: make the bullets thinner and longer with increased propulsion load. Who would know?

I truly do not understand the disconnect in the gun-ban people who are so unable to absorb how criminals get their hands on guns, magazines and ammunition.

Do they actually believe that these thugs just walk into a gun shop and purchase them legally? Are they truly that stupid?

I know better, and so do all of you.

3D printers are going to make it possible for us to manufacture high capacity magazines in our garages-there’s nothing the grabbers will be able to do about it.

Common Sense

I hope they’re running it here in CO. Both the universal background check and 10-round mag limit are up for a vote in the Legislature tomorrow. They are rushing it through.

Common–you just know Hickenlooper is drooling to sign it. Our boy Joey is gonna clap his little hands with glee when it passes, the dumbass.

Colorado is just East California anymore. Not the state I lived in 30-40 years ago.

The Sinaloa drug cartel is headed by Joaquin Guzman Loera aka “El Chapo” (Shorty), currently living in the mountains of western Mexico. He is ruthless, brutal and willing to do whatever it takes to keep his billion-dollar enterprise in business. He supplies drugs of all kinds to dealers in the Chicago area, as well as money, weapons and ammunition.

Today, the Chicago Crime Commission and DEA have declared El Chapo Chicago’s Public Enemy No. 1, the first time since Al Capone had the appelation in 1931. In fact, Chicago is his biggest center of operations.

All the gun bans in the world will NOT keep guns out of the hands of El Chapo’s people. They are completely loyal to him and his money, and all the tears and begging for more gun control will not put a stop to them. I can actually see a street war coming between Chicago cops and the gang members employed by El Chapo, because they have more guns and ammo than the cops, and no conscience.

The sheer stupidity and naivete that go with gun control/gun bans is something I don’t understand.

The purpose of the Second Amendment is to arm people in order to prevent future tyranny. They need the tools to do this.

The term “Well Regulated” in the Second Amendment meant “Well Manned and Equipped ” in 1791 as was determined in the 1939 United States v. Miller case after referencing the autobiography of Benjamin Franklin. The concept of Government Regulation, as we understand it today, did not exist at the time.

United States v. Miller also determined that the term “Arms” refers to “Ordinary Military Weapons” (not crew operated). American Citizens have the right to Keep and Bear, which means Own and Carry, any weapons that a soldier carries into battle. That includes past, present and future weapons. A Militia consisted of armed volunteers willing to fight with their personal arms and not under government control.

The 2008 Heller v. Washington DC decision reaffirmed that the Right to Bear Arms was an Individual right. The 2010 McDonald v. Chicago decision reaffirmed it yet again and made it clear that it applies to every state, every city and every town in the United States.

To limit the Second Amendment to muskets would be the equivalent of limiting the First Amendment to the 18th century Printing Press.

Liberty is worth the risk of death!

2nd amendment only applies to celebrities and the political lords so they can be safe from the unwashed masses from fly over country that cling to their religion.

Getting real tired of these Libtards owning the term “high capacity” when referring to literally standard capacity magazines.

Virtual Insanity

I just bought a 22-round extended mag for my Glock .40.

I only bought it because Iknow it will piss off a liberal.

Just shot a $41 finger to the “the man!”
