Ron Paul: don’t hate me, I’m a veteran

| February 5, 2013

So in reaction to the backlash from his preaching to us yesterday about Chris Kyle and mangling Biblical verses, Ron Paul decides that he should hide behind his short career as an Air Force OB/GYN;

Ron Paul - Kyle veteran

Yeah, hiding behind his DD214 and Christ – that’s always good. Paul can’t find a just war in our entire history, I guess they’re all “unconstitutional and unnecessary”. But, then, Paul endorsed IVAW member Adam Kokesh for Congress. And that statement about “a policy non-violence would have prevented this” – whose policy? A policy of non-violence on a gun range? In Texas? In the war against terror? WTF are you talking about you creepy turd?

And for those who think Paul didn’t write this one – why are his initials after the gobbledygook?

Seriously, Paulbots–this is what you backed. A totally whacked out batshit crazy nutjob.

Sleep well. Oh, and Ron? Go the fuck away already.

A Proud Infidel

Ron Paul is to the GOP what Lyndon LaRouche was to the demo-rats! Has he been examined or evaluated for Alzheimer’s in the past few years? I think he’s showing signs of it!

H1

Paul is a f’n Tool.
And needs to go away.
Far away.

Andrew

Mr. Paul has lost alot of my respect over his recent comments.

Hondo

“A policy non-violence . . . would have prevented this and similar tragedies.”

Yeah, such a policy did wonders to prevent 9/11, North Korea crossing the DMZ, and Pear Pearl Harbor, didn’t it?

“All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing.” Apparently Paul is getting senile and has forgotten that. As well as Jesus’ admonition to go buy a sword.

TopGoz

Nonviolent Jesus, according to the Gospel of John (chapter 2):
“Since the Passover of the Jews was near, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. He found in the temple area those who sold oxen, sheep, and doves, as well as the money-changers seated there. He made a whip out of cords and drove them all out of the temple area, with the sheep and oxen, and spilled the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables, and to those who sold doves he said, “Take these out of here, and stop making my Father’s house a marketplace.”
If you are going to use someone you don’t believe in as an example, at least make an effort to know what you’re talking about.

I honestly like and agree with a great deal of what the Libertarian party stands for (Government that stays within its Constitutional limits, respect for personal liberty, fiscal/financial responsibility). But Ron Paul is an asshole.

And he does NOT have the winsome smile of Steve Buscemi.

PhillyandBCEagles

I’ve been saying for a while that I agree with about 95% of Ron Paul’s stances, but the other 5% are mostly so nutty that I can’t get behind him as a candidate. Didn’t realize he was an awful human being, though. That said, I am a fan of Rand, maybe even as a Presidential candidate in 2016(especially as he could unite traditional conservatives and the Paultards)

O-4E

The douchebags that backed (and back) Paul worship him only slighty less than Obama worshippers…

This will be “explained away”…trust me

rb325th

The guy is a total moonbat.

Well put, TopGoz (#6).
I would also include Luke 22:35-38:

“35 And he said to them, “When I sent you out with no moneybag or knapsack or sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.” 36 He said to them, “But now let the one who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one. 37 For I tell you that this Scripture must be fulfilled in me: And he was numbered with the transgressors.’ For what is written about me has its fulfillment.” 38 And they said, “Look, Lord, here are two swords.” And he said to them, “It is enough.”

Yup, that’s non-violent, peaceful, hippy Jesus; nevermind all that silly Bible stuff about Him coming back to destroy His enemies in judgment and all that. Also, nevermind a consistent teaching throughout the New and Old Testament that a man is authorized and encouraged to defend his own life and the life of others who are endangered. Nope, no need to remember that.

Twist

Where is this Pear Harbor you speak of, Hondo? 🙂

Twist

As a veteran he should have know how we would react to his dancing on the grave of a fallen comrade.

Badger

Twist, to reach Pear Harbor, you must make the perilous journey over the Apple Mountains and down through the Orange Valley…. 😉

streetsweeper

On the graves of fallen comrades, Twist. Eh, Hondo….police up the empty beer cans and cig butts. 🙂

To those who bought Paul’s explanation about the newsletters he published but was completely unaware of the contents, do you still believe that?

Mr. Ron Paul is a cynical, bad human. He wrote horrible newsletters designed to appeal to the basest human emotions because he thought it would bring more voters/zealots into his party, when he was called out for those comments he claimed he was morally responsible but not physically responsible. He tries to disguise himself as a libertarian, but the cynical anti-American puke that is the real Ron Paul is always revealing himself. If you fell for this piece of sh1t’s rhetoric you have my sympathy, perhaps you will be more cautious moving forward before you fall prey to other lying, cynical opportunists.

As I said yesterday, f#ck Ron Paul and his bullsh1t politics.

Hondo

Lack of time for coffee to be fully effective by the time of posting, folks. It’s fixed now.

I also fixed the other mistake you guys didn’t catch. (smile)

Ex-PH2

Poor old fart can’t even remember whether or not he wrote something, and that was a while back. Didn’t like it when people pointed it out to him, either. Now he can disclaim these tweets, too.

I think his smartphone is smarter than he is. Senility can be fun!

Redacted1775

Of course he’s one of us! Been battling yeasty beasties for CENTURIES! 😐

skh.pcola

Anybody who is just now surprised by Luap Nor’s thoroughly disgusting ideology wasn’t paying attention to what the man has been saying for years. He–and the people that enthusiastically supported him–are more closely aligned with the America-hating progtards. That he was a Rethuglican for so long is proof of the power of low-information assholes that mechanically cast votes at the polls. Big “L” Libertarians are just neo-liberal nutjobs that cloak themselves in small-government mantras.

Ex-PH2

You made Pear Harbor go away? And I was SO looking forward to going there.

I thought it might be up near the Cheese Castle and the Jelly Belly Store, but it isn’t, so I checked the map. It has to be over near Cherry Valley, just east of Roque Fort, on the Apple River in Apple Canyon Park.

I can do this all day.

Twist

@21, Pear Harbor went away because Dora the Explorer finaly made to there.

Joe Williams

Ex, bragging or this a warning ? Joe

Hondo

Don’t think so, Twist – Dora’s not a cyclist.

It’s actually near Newburgh, NY – and is called the “Pear Harbor Century”. (smile)

Ex-PH2

@23 – JW, take your pick. All those place names are located in northern Illinois, except Roque Fort, which is actually Rockford. 🙂

Reaperman

You can laugh if you want, but I can only imagine the horrors that man witnessed while he served. *shudder*

Seriously though, Adam Kokesh? WTF? I had to google that one for some details. Looks like they had a falling out, at least.

Hondo

Twist: don’t think she’s gonna be doing he Pear Harbor Century on that bike, amigo. Been to that area – some serious hills there. (smile)

Common Sense

Ron Paul has worked hard to set up Rand Paul for a presidential run. Does he realize that some people will associate his disgusting comments with his son?

Rand Paul is one of my favorite politicians. He’s principles and sticks by the Constitution. And I certainly know that children don’t necessarily share the same beliefs as their parents. But these kind of comment CAN come back to hurt Rand Paul in the next election.

FatCircles0311

That sounds like something Jack Murtha would have said.
