“Hail Obama” chants at First Lady’s rally
Yes, “Hail Obama”. We haven’t heard someone shout things like that in 70 years or so, and certainly not in this country. WOFL FOX 35‘s Mike Synan reports from Daytona Beach;
The group was at times restless after standing in line since 8:30 in the morning to hear Mrs. Obama speak.
At other times they were quite boisterous. Several times in the warm up to the event, chants of “Hail Obama” could be heard echoing through the standing room only event.
He says it out loud at the end of this video report;
I’d prefer a video of the chant, but I guess this will do. Local Fox stations tend to be much more liberal than their parent news channel. It’s good that Obama supporters feel more comfortable in their slimy, reptilian skin the closer we get to the election and show us their true feelings.

Hail and FAREWELL!
Are we even sure that Hawaii is big enough for the egos of these two? Perhaps they should move farther out into the universe.
Could question, OWB. Could their egos cause whichever island they’re on to tip over, like the danger the Marines pose to Guam?
And now their true colors are shown.
Anyone surprised by this, raise your hand.
Part of me wants to slap them repeatedly while shouting “DON’T YOU KNOW HOW HISTORICALLY BAD CULTS OF PERSONALITY ARE?!?!”
But it would be useless. These drones think ‘history’ is all male white oppression, and probably wouldn’t mind a reign of terror as long as it was them doing the terrorizing.
Sieg?
Its “Springtime for Obama and Germany”
Blue–concur. Sadly, they never realize that when the revolution comes, they’re usually the first ones up against the wall.
That’s why they are called useful idiots, Sparks.
Or, as the Who pointed out- “Meet the new boss, same as the old boss…”
I can’t watch it. Monitors are too expensive. Every time I see she who is married to THE ONE, I see that video of her in NY mouthing, “All this for a flag.” I wish they ask for volunteers to carry their personal belongings and stolen momentos from 1600 come January 2013. I would elbow, kick, punch, and bribe to get to the front of the line.
And there are still those who deny how similar things are to 1930’s Germany?
Pssst, AC. My elbows are pretty bony, so you might want to work with me as a team instead of us fighting each other for the front of that line.
I try not to watch things that nauseate me.
Big smile. Big smile. Big smile.
Dammnnn. Just . . . DAMMNNNN.
That is SO wrong on SO many levels.
But considering the responsibility and intelligence levels of many LibTards, it’s not surprising.
It seems the obvious funnies are already up, so I’ll just share this. Obamallama parody versions encouraged.
I wish people would know their facts before assuming things. The chant is a cheer that happens to have been used at our school for years. We say it at pep rallies, games, ect. Words were switched from Wildcats to Obama. Its just like the news to switch everything around to make college students seem ignorant.
@16
That’s better how?
Hail Wildcats? Sorry, anon, not buying that attempt at whitewashing. Oh, I said “whitewashing”, I’ll bet you’ll think that was racist.
Not whitewashing anything just saying facts. Know them before you assume that’s all I am saying. I didn’t make this about race you did so what does that say about you.
So, I said it, BFD. You can’t handle someone else bringing it up?
And, what does this mean? “The chant is a cheer that happens to have been used at our school for years”. What school? This event was at a convention center, not a school, as far as I can tell.
So, it would appear that this was a crowd of Obama sycophants chanting “Hail Obama”, at a convention center, much like Germans did at beer halls and stadiums, in the 1930’s.
Anon# 16- you are proving my point about ignorance of history.
“Hail” vs. “Heil”
Huge difference. Think about it:
Heil Hitler
Hail Mary
go unbunch your panties.
What is the name of the official Presidential anthem, again? I’m no Obama fan, but let’s not get carried away.

HAIL WILDCATS
Students flipped the words. Big deal.
Should we worry about the Night of the Long Knives, er bayonets?
VERY big deal. The spin doctors seem to be hard at work all over the blogosphere on this one.
It is VERY BIG G2D Damned deal because it shows just how frikkin’ clueless those supporters were and how clueless the sycophants and apologists are.
Using the word “hail” in conjunction with ANY political figure is an absolute disgrace, something that a decent American would NEVER think about doing, let alone apologize for someone else doing.
Trying to link it to use with prayers or sports teams is NOT the same in any way shape or form, except perhaps in the bizzaro world where leftists seem to dwell.

Wow! That anyone would actually defend the use of the words speaks volumes about the cluelessness of those doing so. Little if any sensitivity to history, no understanding of what words, even their misuse, actually mean, and a few other less than flattering things.
Anyone else aware of the controversy surrounding the tune ‘Hail to the Chief” just because that word is in it? Yes, it is traditional, but not without opponents to the idea. It is a negative symbol, one with which more than one president has objected. But at least it is “to the” office, not to an individual office holder.
I figured this out a while back, and because it’s so close to the election, I’m putting my opinion in here. Okay, here goes. And please hold off throwing the bricks until I’m done. The people who groove on this guy are a bunch of little kids in adult bodies who want Big Daddy O and Mommy O to do everything for them, including thinking, so that they don’t have to do it themselves. They want expensive jobs even though they have no qualifications for them, but if Big Daddy O says they can have those jobs, then they’ll get them. It’s just not fair to be told “you’re not qualified” to be in a job that requires intensive education and training, like financial analyst for instance, because your education was in humanitarian studies (whatever that is) instead of finance. Does anyone besides me hear a whiny 7-year-old little snot being told “No, you can’t have pie for breakfast”? Or “Because I said so. Now go do your homework”. My impression of the generation between 21 and 30 YO (not in military!), especially since last summer’s Occupy crap and the nonsense it caused in downtown Chicago, is that they expect everything to be handed to them; they have never been told “no” or criticized or told they can’t have a medal/prize they never earned; they really don’t want to work at anything that requires hard labor and pays crappy wages; and if they can get away with being slackers, they will. I would love to take these whiney adult children on a little trip to India, where they could participate in the work done at a garment factory for less than a dollar a day, and live in what I would politely call a slum; or to China, where in Beijing the current hourly wage is $1.68/hr for factory work, where you sit smack up against the person next to you, pop components together, never speak to anyone until the whistle blows and put in an average 12-hour day with no benefits. And let’s do remember that China may have… Read more »
@30.
I am not throwing bricks. I am throwing Hershey’s Kisses!
Spot on.
Well said!
The irony is that these same people treat the US as a birthright, which I guess it is. These are usually the same ones that denounce the US and our unique way of life.
They also fail to understand why foreign nations crawl, scrape, steal, borrow, beg, etc. to get into this country for the opportunities it can afford if you work hard.
Once again, as EX-PH2 pointed out, alot of these “turds” (kids) have no idea what work is about.
An old saying: “In order to appreciate caviar, one must learn to like bologna”.
Anonymous (22): In the context of your example, the German term “heil” translates to the English term “hail”. Had you done even cursory research or had a rudimentary knowledge of history you’d know that.
What that tells me is that you’re either (1) being intentionally mendacious and claiming a distinction you know full well does not exist or (2) you’re an incredibly ignorant young fool.
Or perhaps both.
BAMA FONE … Ya Know … Fu*k Romnee
Welcome back MCPO. Glad to see you survived the long-winded and ill-tempered lady’s visit.
It is bad!
I am at a large EOC in NY. Pretty bleak in many areas. Food, fuel, water all major issues ….. anothwer Nor’Easter on it way!
Master Chief, the forecast is for another nor’easter by the weekend. You better batten down the hatches, trim the fores’ls and tell the bos’n to man the crow’s nest.
I’m not kidding. It’s forming in the northwest now.
Stupid repugs will fall for anything.
Strange… No video to support this BS?
Yep “repugs” will fall for anything. They think that the attack in Benghazi was all about a youtube video….oh wait
@30 Ex-PH2:
Fire for Effect, m’Lady!
Master Chief, it can’t be bad. Bloomie has said that the Police, city workers, utility workers and other first responders aren’t needed for hurricane relief, they can all go work the NYC Marathon, you know, like handing out water to the runners. Bet you didn’t know things were much, much better, did ya?
Northstate, there’s plenty of video if you have electricity and access to cable or DTV or DISH TV service. It’s on the weather channel, or online at weather dot com.
Yeah – that old problem of accepting a report from someone who was there or the wishful thinking of someone who was not there. Let’s see. One guy was assigned to go to an event and record what he observed. Gee, what would be the odds that he would actually do that? I dunno. Perhaps none, if he doesn’t want to continue working at this job? Maybe he reports mostly truthfully if he wants to continue in this job?
Must conclude that it is much more likely that he is reporting what he saw than is making it up. But I could be entirely wrong on that. Perhaps that is why the adults among us are always a bit sceptical about claims we hear made without proof of same. Kinda like Jonn said in the posting above.
Does that qualify me to be a repug, whatever that is? Sounds better than some things I’ve been called.
OWB, a repug is both a conservative pug dog and/or French bulldog. It is no insult to be labeled a repug.
So would my SO be the pug and me the repug, or vice versa? If we are both repugs, would we qualify for some sort of special dispensation for something or another since don’t ask/don’t tell has been repealed??
But most important, is there a pug and/or repug parade?
#39- thus speaks the dribbling devotee of Obama’s personality cult who has to pretend every morning that his failed messiah isn’t an incompetent boob that would be out of his depth on a wet lawn.
That you plan to vote for this proven loser goes to demonstrate not only your mental deficiency, but that you aren’t exactly all that discerning regarding what they believe.
@46 — I would say, speculatively, that both of you are repugs. Special dispensation — don’t know, but you could apply for one, I guess.
There should be a repug pride parade on the third Turdsday of the week of every presidential election. That would be next week, 3rd Turdsday
“Out of his depth on a wet lawn”. Heh, BwaHaHaHa. Mr. Blue, I have to borrow that one.. Nicely done.
