The “Oh, that guy” defense

| September 15, 2008

Don’t you wish you could get out of trouble with the IRS just by telling them you’re going to get a new accountant? Well, Charlie Rangel can.

Of course, it helps that slimy-assed Lanny Davis is his lawyer.

Well, on top of the tax problems, Bits Blog writes that he’s been getting freebies from lobbyists without declaring them. Which guy is going to get blamed for that?

Rangel said in a statement he became aware of the issues over the weekend while working with his attorneys and staff.

The congressman acknowledged he made mistakes but said they were errors of omission and should not lead to the loss of his high position in Congress.

Yeah, errors of omission to pay to your stupid taxes like the rest of us, ya old buffoon.

Pompous Ass! Suppose he would hear of any one of us claiming “Error of Omission”? Sorta like Jimmah Cahtah’s guy in Atlanta having a “Liberal Overdraft Policy” when he bounced several million dollar checks. He is as much a “Pompous Ass” as Joe “Hairplug” Biden and Barry “Arugula” Hussein Nobama.
“Error of Omission” my ass! He’s a crook, has been, is now, and will continue to be. As well as a pandering racist.
Besides that, I don’t like him.

Charlie USED to have an old Mercedes back during the Clinton years.

When he spoke at Dover AFB at a Code Pink rally, he had a new one. So why were we paying for a Caddy SUV?

Peeeloshi says Ragnel won’t lose his chairmanship. Doesn’t that mean that we no longer have to pay taxes. Now we can have the volunteer tax system the dhimmi’s want. Only those who want to will pay taxes. If they take you to court you can use the ‘Rangel’ defense. Has there ever been a more stupid or criminal group in the U.S. congress? Not in my 67 years.
