Is Obama running Netflix?

| October 10, 2011

I started with Netflix when I broke my ankle a few years back. They were fairly cheap and convenient. but then they raised their subscription prices a few months back, and I decided that they weren’t going to coherce me into paying more, so I went to strictly online movies. So last month for some inexplicable reason, they sent me a note telling me they’re sorry they didn’t ask me before inflicting their new policy on me, so even more inexplicable, I was supposed to be enticed back to DVD deliveries because they split off the DVD company. It didn’t make sense to me so I ignored them.

Today I get an email from Netflix explaining that they decided that there wouldn’t be a second company because some people were confused.

So my question is; who is making their policy? It looks like it’s coming straight out of the White House – charge me more money for the same service I’ve always had, make the bureaucracy bigger, then reduce the bureaucracy, but still charge me the higher price for what I had before at half the price. And now they’re telling me it’s better than it’s ever been.

Has Obama leadership crept into corporate America?

Jonn…don’t get any of it but quit my subscription to the DVD’s since 99%of the new movies suck, and am now going to cancel all since Amazon has a better stream for Prime members. Screw Netflix. My tv needs upgraded, need a new one for bedroom anyway, that can recieve Amazon…but to me, worth it. I’ve not been notified like you have.

It kind of sucks what is happening to netflix. Mostly because they are being muscled by film companies. They want a bigger slice of Netflix’s streaming dollar, which is why their streaming sucks for new and quality movies. They are great for foreign, some tv, and a lot of kids shows, but that is about it right now. I wish it was the way it used to be but they were cutting too much out of potential profits from the film companies.

Movie selection on Netflix sucks the balls.

Perhaps the owner of Netflix needs to lose his coke nail. Or sell it to Ted Turner or Disney.
