That new civil tone

| September 7, 2011

Claymore sent us a link to the great new online game “Tea Party Zombies Must Die“. I tried it once and got killed off in Level II so I blew off the game. I’m the antithesis of TSO anyway – video games don’t hold my interest very long.

Then Old Trooper sent us a link to The Blaze report on the game. Apparently I didn’t advance far enough to have zombies who looked like Tea Party leaders like Sarah Palin, Glen Beck and Michelle Bachmann. I probably wouldn’t have recognized their caricature personae anyway – my mind doesn’t work like that for some reason.

Fox News writes;

The gruesome game, created by StarvingEyes Advergaming, is billed as “first-person shooter” featuring “Tea Party zombies” to be targeted with an “arsenal of weapons,” including multiple firearms and a crowbar. Notable politicians depicted in the game include current and previous presidential hopefuls like Palin, Bachmann, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum. Several Fox News personalities are also featured, including Huckabee, Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity and Brit Hume.

But, I guess that’s what passes for civil discourse these days. I can only imagine that Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and a whole host of MSNBC talk show hosts play this game in the privacy of their offices.

Gee. So nice to know that things have gotten better since Rep Giffords was shot. For a second there I thought the vitriol would get really vile.

This tidbit appeared on the blog “Black & Right”. And the left calls the right “vitriolic”. Geez. BTW, it’s NSFW!

Nancy Pelosi can’t play: botox limits her range of motion for her eyes and head. Her aide wasn’t on hand to provider her pre-recorded comment, but reporters heard a vague grunting noise that sounded like “TEA Pardeh.”

So, does this mean that a video game “Obamabots must die”, where players gun down robot versions of various liberal politicians and media figures, is fine?

According to DU, this is “payback” for the Left Behind game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZGmSUO8M4g

Which just goes to show you just how dense the DUmp is. There was absolutely nothing in the Left Behind game that resembled even in the least anything in this zombie game. IGN, GameSpy, Ars Technica and even the Anti-Defamation League all came out and flatly denied that the Left Behind game contained any such content.
