The next two days in the Capitol will be interesting, to say the least. Today and Tomorrow, Pennsylvania House State Government Committee Majority Chairman Representative Daryl Metcalfe will hold two public hearings focusing on the “National Security Begins at Home” legislative package.
Following the introduction of 16 bills in the state House and state Senate this past spring regarding illegal immigration, the coming fall will certainly see a flutter of activity and political dispute as both pro and anti-immigration groups try to push their legislation.
Those testifying this week include law enforcement, think tank thinkers, Tea Partiers, and even those who have been accused of ties to white supremacists.
OK, so I wasn’t overly pleased about being called out of Minn to testify between the state house in Pennsylvania, because, honestly, who cares. Well, I do now, because this could be fun. Yup, I am appearing tomorrow before this House committee, although I don’t believe I am a think tanker, a tea partier, or a white supremacist. But oh man, oh man, how much would I love some protests. Bring it on SEIU, I’ll be the guy in the blue tie with the CIB on his collar. I promise I won’t even resist, just hit me with a pie. Preferable Strawberry Rhubarb, because I have a 6.5 hour flight after the hearing, and I would love to eat off my suit.
Oh, and I expect SPLC to me covering this, so I hope that jackass with the tower of hair Mark Potok is there.

The one angle of attack that few people consider: illegal immigration = importing poverty. The majority of the cash the illegals earn goes home to family, so wealth is exported.
Which the government of Mexico heartily endorses, encourages, and ensures.
Add to it the cost of law enforcement, other crimes, taxpayer-suppled healthcare and insurance during this economy and suddenly illegal immigration isn’t about ethnicity or race, just cold hard cash.
Pictures- have your staff get pictures. Degrading, exposing, embarassing pictures of the liberal asswipes.
Why is there even a debate over E-verify? I thought this was a way for the libs to assuage their guilt over immigration, and call out the employers, too.
But, I do get it, can’t E-verify, can’t deport, can’t deny illegals housing, transportation, because someone’s feelings might get hurt, and someone couldn’t stop at the local Tacos-R-Us stand for dinner, or they might have to mow their own lawn? Right!!!
Illegal immigrants are line cutters and nobody with their head screwed on straight likes line cutters.
Half the time I wonder if these SEIU goons even know why they’re there protesting.
Wish I could be there for this cause I’d stand in line for the pie myself. The only thing illegals are good for is crime, increasing insurance, mandatory language classes and under the table cheap labor.
