Drudge: USA freaks out
Drudge’s front page looks like this;
Old Trooper sent a link earlier of an article that said even the bomb-sniffing dogs are freaking out.
I guess vigilance has turned into paranoia. It could be good, I guess, as long as no one gets hurt. I suppose it’s better than the indifference I’ve become more accustomed to over the years. It could be a result of losing confidence in law enforcement and the government agencies that are supposed to protect us looking at the immigration and gun control issues over the last few years.

Well, it IS paranoia when you park your SUV in a Bronx neighborhood and the residents think it’s “suspicious” and call the po-po, only to have them bring the bomb squad in and blow up a perfectly good SUV simply because it was “suspicious” to the overly paranoid neighborhood and, apparently, police.
Well, at least at the federal level, the government officials have gone out of their way to make us distrustful of them. With Napolitano and Holder as the poster children for leadership in this area, I sure as hell am nervous on a daily basis. Mindless leftist ideologues have that effect on me, particularly when they get their marching orders from one of Obama’s ilk.
Better to over react than under react. And it takes our attention away from the pedophiles in TSA.
Hold on, DaveO, they are probably gonna be able to expand their Hello Kitty search procedures because Schumer wants to implement TSA at Amtrak now.
