Milblog Friday night
Mark Wills introduces a new song at the Milblog Conference Friday night at the Navy Memorial (camera work by my son, Paul, who was obviously more interested in USO girl Jamie than he was in taking videos);
I’m working on straightening out a video of the awards presentation which won’t load on to YouTube. It won’t even load into my my media encoder thingie.
Too bad there wasn’t an award for best dressed, though – this strange fellow would have won hands down;
If you’re wondering, he wasn’t wearing the $9.99 pants from Marshall’s. Yes, he was wearing pants. I noticed the similarity between his togs and those posted on Ace of Spades the same day;
Coincidence? I think not.
Perhaps somewhat less stylish were your hosts, TSO and me. But we don’t need gimmicks to look good – we got to hang out with the USO Girls.
Oh, I finally got to meet Kate Hoit, former VetVoice frontpager. For some reason she didn’t seem as eager to meet me as I was to meet her.

I stand corrected for what I wrote to Jimbo on fb. He looks pretty dapper in that wardrobe choice. Now, as far as Jonn and TSO not needing the wardrobe of UJ to look good…..true, however, you DID need the assistance of the USO girls to even get noticed. I’m just sayin
