Shinseki, the incompetent boob, “accelerates” program already late

| March 2, 2011

See, this is why I like writing in a blog. I can call the DVA Secretary, Eric “Black Beret” Shinseki, an incompetent boob when he’s being an incompetent boob. The Associated Press writes that he told a Senate committee that he’s going to accelerate a program that already a month late in being launched. That program is the one which is supposed to get severely wounded veterans out of long-term care facilities and send them home to be cared for by their families instead;

President Barack Obama on May 5 signed a law instructing the VA to provide a monthly stipend, health insurance, mental health help and other aid directly to caregivers to help keep the veterans out of nursing homes. But the VA missed a Jan. 31 deadline for implementation. And The Associated Press reported last month that when the VA did announce its plans to help these caregivers soon after, it helped fewer families than had been intended by Congress.

Not only is the program late, it’s only on track for providing support for less than a quarter of it’s intended beneficiaries. When is someone going to realize that Shinseki just isn’t up to the task of leading the DVA? I mean they should have known before this when he screwed the Black Beret pooch, but he was unable to implement the 9-11 GI Bill in a satisfactory and timely manner so it wasn’t a gigantic cluster fuck of borrowed money shooting to and fro and now this.

I liked him when he was sitting at home collecting his retirement check, but not so much now.

The only thing successful in speeding up a program is the chucking of the vetting process.

That, and $200 will incorporate you as an Caregiver Nursing Home LLC.

The guy should have set himself on fire when Obama came up with that moronic civilian health insurance plan for our wounded soldiers shortly after his ascension to the throne.

Instead, he just bent over and screamed “thank you sir, may I have another?”

Worthless. No wonder they fired his ass.

Shinseki is a COMPLETE waste of on time, water, and oxygen. I don’t know what Bush saw in that turd. That he was appointed Army CoS under Slick Willy should have been the big clue.
That *<#&^? signed off on the screwing of the families of our honored war dead by Prudential and Met Life. May the Lord forgive me, but I hope he swiftly goes to his Master in the Hot Place and slow roasts for all Eternity.

CI Roller Dude

I wonder, after I’ve seen how so many state and federal agencies work…I wonder…is it possible that it’s not just Shinseki, but maybe the house if full of workers who can’t get stuff done?

Kind of like the high school football coach…he can only work with what he has. I have worked for Army, National Guard and local police agencies for over 30 years….and there are so many oxygen bandits working in any large government place…workers who show up each day and don’t do anything.

Proof that the “Peter principle” is alive and kicking, especially in the Civil Service.

The VA was already a stinking mess before ole’ ‘black beret’ took over, but he sure ain’t doing anything to make it any better that’s fer sure.

After all wasn’t that the ‘feel good’ reason why he was brought in to save the day?

WOTN

Maybe he’ll issue Green Berets to all VA cardholders. It’ll make them feel special, and overcome their ailments faster. But perhaps he has an even more effective plan to streamline the VA. If the patients die off quicker, the others will get treated quicker.

VA SUCKS BAD

THE VA OR VETERANS ADMINISTRATION IS A STINKIN SHIT HOLE I WOULDNT TAKE MY DOG TO THAT FUCKIN SHIT HOLE FOR ANY REASON.
SHINSEKI SHOULD HAVE STAYED WHERE HE WAS WHICH WAS NO WHERE,
SHENSEKI IS A USELESS INCOMPETENT BOOOB IDIOT MORON!! I REALLY LIKE HOW THE VIETNAM VET IN ALASKA SHOOK HIS HAND LAST WEEK.
WELL FROM NOW ON I WILL NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH ANY VIETNAM VETERANS.
