Burn in Hell Jose
Jose Medellin’s sorry excuse for a life was finally terminated tonight. It was not popular in many parts of the world (Texas excluded).
WASHINGTON (AFP) – The US Supreme Court has rejected a last-ditch appeal by a Mexican muderer on Texas death row, paving the way for him to be put to death despite a world court order for a stay of execution.
His execution would be in defiance of an order from the International Court of Justice, which asked the United States last month to stay the executions of five Mexican nationals on death row, including Medellin. In 2004, the court told US authorities to review the sentences of 51 Mexicans facing execution.
Texas basically told the International Court of Justice to F**k off and that is a good thing.
Does the death penalty deter crime? There is certainly tons of evidence to suggest that it doesn’t.
But does anyone want to debate whether Jose Medellin will ever kill again?

The “rulings” of the ICJ are non-binding anyway.
Who cares if capital punishment’s a deterrent? Justice is balance. Sometimes it’s vengeance.
Medellin raped and killed 16-year-old Elizabeth Pena and 14-year-old Jennifer Ertman in June, 1993. It’s taken 15 friggin’ years to finally carry out the sentence! That’s ridiculous!
If anybody deserves the death penalty it’s Medellin. With that being said, I’m not a proponent of the death penalty.
I just found your site and am adding it to my favorites.
That said, it always bothers me when I hear people say “The death penalty doesn’t deter crime.” It isn’t meant as a determent, it’s punishment for a crime. It’s called capital punishment for a reason.

Via con diablo Jose.
Do life sentences deter crime? Who knows, who cares?
Jose, I hope you enjoy your eternity on Hell Spit 2431, Hall of Loneliness, Child Rape and Murder Complex.
The horrid details of exactly what Medellin and his illegal alien pals did: “Medellin was convicted of participating in the gang rape, beating and strangling of Elizabeth Pena, 16, and Jennifer Ertman, 14. He and five fellow gang members attacked the girls as they were walking home on a June night, raped and tortured them for an hour, then kicked and stomped them before using a belt and shoelaces to strangle them.” Even after all that, his relatives think the sentence was ‘too harsh’: “In Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, where Medellin was born, a small group of his relatives condemned his execution. “Only God has the right to take a life,” said Medellin’s cousin Reyna Armendariz. ……A large black bow and a banner that read “No to the death penalty … may God forgive you,” hung from an iron fence in the front of the house where Medellin lived until moving to the United States at the age of 3.” Only God??? That was the last thing on the mind of your fucking worthless piece of shit cousin, when he took the lives of those two teenaged girls. “A statement from Mexico’s Foreign Relations Department said it was “concerned for the precedent that (the execution) may create for the rights of Mexican nationals who may be detained in that country.” Link to article: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,399204,00.html Oh, I certainly hope it sets a precedent; one that makes it abundantly clear that heinous crimes will be met with the appropriate justice, in this case, the death penalty. Newsflash for Armendariz and company: Medellin EARNED his place on death row. I just love how pious nutsacks keep bringing up the “God” factor to justify their aversion to the death penalty, under any circumstances. Barring “god” from the equation, I consider the criminal, the unmitigated suffering of the victim, and the circumstances. The death penalty should be modified, i.e.: the punishment should actually fit the crime. If you commit a heinous, unprovocated act of murder, you will die. If you rape, strangle, and mutilate an innocent child, you will be put to death in the same… Read more »
Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, where Medellin was born…
We’re discussing Nuevo Laredo over on the RC Pirate Forums right now on a thread titled When is it considered an invasion? about Mexican military incursions into the US, originating from Nuevo Laredo and other border towns, aiding the Mexican drug cartels. No wonder why Medellin was so effed up growing up in a lawless town like that. No excuses though, he and his gangstas are responsible for the heinous and unspeakable acts that they committed on those young girls. I’m not a proponent of the death penalty, but if anybody deserved it, Jose Medellin did and his sentence has been carried out… finally, 15 friggin’ years after he did that to those girls.
