Center mass

| January 4, 2011

Pittsburgh teen Lairy James-Watson was visiting his mom when he noticed an amputee wheeling around inside his apartment. Why James-Watson was taking his .22 caliber rifle to visit his mother is beyond me, but witnesses report the following

Scott said Bombara, his two sons and three of their friends were in the living room when they heard a noise at the window. Several minutes later, he said, the window opened and the six reported seeing a rifle barrel protruding from slats of a blind.

James-Watson fired two shots, Scott said. Bombara, who told police he typically keeps his pistol underneath the seat of his wheelchair, fired one time, hitting James-Watson in the chest. No one else was injured.

Aiming center mass works every time. Police speculate that it was a case of self-defense, but ultimately the prosecutor will decide if charges are to be brought against 51-year-old double amputee Rocco Bombara.

The tried and true excuse that “he was a good boy, etc.” always seems to find its way into stories about dead thugs. If he was a “good boy” he wouldn’t have been climbing through the window firing a rifle at the occupants he was going to rob.

Sis says he (James-Watson) was “…a good person, a good brother, a good uncle.”

Sure he was…and now he’s “good and dead” and the residents of that area are, no doubt, much safer for it.

Kudos to Mr. Bombara for DSAF (Doing Society a Favor).

The missives regarding the deceased on various friends’ and and family’s facebook pages are charming, indeed.

“He was killed on his 19th birhtday!!” with no hint of a reason as to how and why, and most definitely not that the little criminal earned every grain he got.

I’m sure that there’s some bleeding heart Liberal out there asking, “Couldn’t he have just shot to wound ?” Among the carry crowd, they seem to be of the opinion that IF someone needs to break leather, someone’s going to die, which is how I think, too.

Did one of his family appear on TV to say, “he had just turned his life around”? That’s the common mantra whenever a member of society removes a predator from the gene pool.
There was a young man a while back who decided to rob a party store to “just get some money so he could go skating”. He took a barely functioning .38 into a gun fight with a store owner with a superb .357. Guess what? The poor young man lost. And all of his family just lamented that he was killed on or near his birf’day, and he was jes getting his life turned around, and he was goin’ back to get his GED. You’d have thought the store owner had killed Ghandi, the way the media covered it.
