Anyone who thinks they can accurately predict what will happen politicaly 5 or more years into the future is delusional.

Exactly. Did *anyone* predict in NOV 2008 that this would happen in NOV 2010? Nope. So anyone predicting anything for NOV 2012 is just as idiotic as Kos was in NOV 2008.

As Rush always says, 2 years is an eternity in politics. A LOT can and will happen. Just look at all that happened from NOV 2008 and now.

And if the Republican Party thinks they can run crappy-ass candidates the likes of John McCain/Dede Scozzofava/Charlie Crist/Lindsey Graham, etc in 2012 and Obama will be defeated, they better think again. A candidate in the mold of Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan, Chris Christie will be needed to give a clear conservative alternative to Obama and explain to the American people WHY Obama’s/Democrats’ policies since JAN 2007 have wrecked our economy and made things worse since JAN 2009.

As CBS News Correspondent Jeff Glor reports, the former GOP vice presidential nominee backed 43 candidates for the House. Thirty of them won, with races involving nine others still undecided.

Her record in Senate races was closer: She endorsed 12 candidates. Seven won.

Though it’s been 15 months since Palin stepped down as Alaska governor, she was very much in this election, stumping for candidates across the country, skewering President Obama at every turn.

“My observation of Sarah Palin,” says CBS News political analyst Nicolle Wallace, “is that she is one of the shrewdest political figures in our country at this moment. She’s also one of the most electric.”

But what do the DUmmies say… she’s a “loser” and a “failure”.

Maybe the ethics comittee will actually do its job and investigate Barney “I don’t know what weed, prosititution, or conflict of interest looks like” Fwank, Maxine “just because my husband invested in a bank I saved doesn’t make me corrupt” Waters, and Charlie “I didn’t know I had to claim that” Rangle. I think that there really needs to be a shake up of all of the comittees. The greatest thing is that Skeletor will no longer be third in line to the presidency.
